je ne comprend pas

ok, i actually wrote a bit of this post in the morning b4, but then my computer went evil on me and so i had to restart it therefore all my work has been deleted! So yah, the beginning may b a lil' boring coz i wrote it b4 and writing it again seems a bit boring for me.

So yah! Ima back from Tremblant in Quebec, i didn't learn much french, but now i kno how important that language is for travelling purposes. It all began one day at 6 30 when i woke up... thts too early. Ok, so it all started at 8 when we all met together, had our last washroom breaks (yet we needed another washroom break half an hour later) and we arrived to our destination at 6:30! yay... of course there was a lunch break and a lot of rest stops but it's all good. We got our rooms, unpacked, went down for dinner, i ate something that i was not suppose to eat but i live so it's ok. After dinner, we went out to explore our surroundings... or the community. It was such a nice site, such pretty lights ^^. Trying to keep this as simple as possible leaving out some details but it's ok coz i don't want this post to b super long and i don't haf time coz i need to sleep soon. That was basically day one; also took a shower, gambled with points, and watched close to 0.5 of a chinese...soap... episode.

Ok so, day 2. Mood wasn't all that good in the morning, but i was fine near the start of the afternoon. Had a lotta fun going up and down and up..and down... and etc... in those... ski lift like things i forget wht u call them coz i'm very forgetful... gondola! yes... (i actually knew the word, just had to check in dictionary to make sure it was right). ummm... yah! Very amusing, and it was very foggy in the morning so everything seemed like a ghost town! SO AWESOME! -sighz- so ok, then we went hiking, ate lunch, told ppl 'bout hiking, went hiking again for 1 hour and fifteen minutes with crazy picture taking time( i think i left something out, but doesn't matter, only one person reading this post would kno other than me) went on the luge which was amusing, but the kids passing me just got me mad! just coz i way more, haha (my excuse). Umm... went back to the hotel, met up for dinner, went mini golfing which was also fun but won't elaborate on stuff coz i'm too lazy =P (and i don't want ppl reading to b jealous! mwahaha! jkz... haha...) Ok, so i'll just end this day with me sleeping.

Third day, main highlights, walking back and forth from the beach, tennis (first time playing in a long time! so hot... and fun), beach, skipping rocks, dinner (yummy? hehe, red wine, i wasn't drunk), and sleep! I'd say more details, but some ppl just think their summer was super great so i'll just keep quiet and let them dream on! jkz... haha... partly.

day four, mmm... hiking! tiring, but also fun! nice view, fresh air, it's all healthy. And then 8ish hours in a car again with lunch breaks and rest stops (not as much as the trip to tremblant... i don't think). After arriving in toronto, we ate dinner, n yah. A few other highlights of the trip... someones interesting looking cards which reminds me, i haf to start downloading an anime... and then there was also the "something smells good... i think that's smoke (cigarette)... oh whoops" or something like that. This is why i don't put details, coz i might b wrong.

Today! registration, i'd tell u wht i haf this semester but that'd b too easy so tough luck! After, i made a bank account with td bank, hahaha! i just wanted to cash in my check, but i came out of the bank with an account so whtever. My first bank card! i'm so happy. I'm gonna go admire it all day. After, i went to unknownuser's place to study for the g1 written test. I shall not tell u when i'm taking it coz if i fail, i can still say i didn't take it yet. After a few hours of studying, we spent more hours playing the guitar! Since i'm obsessed with guitars now due to my many camps. Well basically one of my camps but it started and it grew on me so now i find myself playing sadness and sorrow from naruto on the guitar. yuuup... thanx a lot, wht great friends i haf.

I'd also like to add that whenever i go to unknownuser's place, i haf a mind to not eat dinner at his place, but somehow, someway, i end up eating there anywayz! -twitches- it's like impossible! Only thing i can do to repay them is to wash their dishes, hahaha. washing dishes... so funny... since i don't really do much of that at home, but do a lot of that out of my house. k, i'm pretty done now, u can return to ur lives. And side note: i don't re-read or proof read my posts, so yah, many rambling and improper engrish. g'nite ppl!

Edit: many pictures to come!

It draws nearer...

Christmas!…
As school draws nearer and nearer, the things on my to do list… are still there… Another week spent doing not much of anything, yet things still happened, and time passed by…

learned that the minimum age for the g1 test doesn’t change like some people said it would, found g1test.com, disappointed that I probably could have finished the course needed to become a fully certified lifeguard this week but far too lazy to register and actually go on with it, , a very lazy week.

Bowling

Probably my first time since playing with 5 pins, a ball ½ the size, and with those little blue things so your ball can never go into the gutter, which was a very very long time ago… went with a few friends someday last week (all the days are the same to me now, don’t really have a concept of what day it is unless i’m looking at a calander) and realized how bad we were, all 3 of our scores added together made a still pretty below-average bowler if that tells you anything… * how do you get the ball to spin like they do it on tv? From just spinning but still going straight to spinning off countless times into the gutter, we didn’t make much progress with it… all in all bowling is hard.

and once again realized how close summer holidays are coming to an end…

Onto Leadership

I wouldn't like to start off with this, but i will. I am very disappointed -shakes head and index finger in disappointment- I go wild camping for 3-4 dayz, expecting a lot of new posts, new anime episodes, but no, none of that happened. The one thing i look forward to when i come home... and it's not there. It saddens me tsk tsk.

Anywayz, yah. I'm very tired from going wild camping. First time i ever slept in a tent, but it was very fun. The guys tent was dirty inside with grass, so... not inviting. There were a LOT of spiders outside and a lot of bees and flies n other insects. So annoying! I saw a spider rite beside me and i had to kill it with someone else's sleeping bag. For those who don'g read this blog, i wrote b4 that i'd go camping coz i was gonna become one of the leaders of my fellowship; which is a very huge responsibility. School, then planning for fellowship stuff. Talk about full and tiring dayz, but i'm sure it'll b fun and exciting. Just don't give me anything to worry about such as relationships and i'll be fine. Wht stress...

Sunday, went to our youth pastor's place to sleep over b4 we go camping. Stayed up to 2 playing video games and eating and talking. Then spent another hour to 3 just talking while sleeping. Guys and girls in the same room sleeping (but clearly divided. Girls in couch area, guys... on the open floor). All the guys were trying to sleep while the girls had their "girl talks" which disturbed the guys sleeping coz we were all in the same room! "So that's how it's like to sleep with girls... "
We were talking about random stuff, throwing random animals blindly (as in just throwing stuffed animals in the air and c who it hits coz couches block the view of both genders).

Monday, woke up at 6 (3 hours of sleep) coz of the sunlight and the guys just went straight to video games while some girls watched and others continued sleeping. At 8 we had breakfast and started repacking our stuff to go camping. We crammed all our luggage into one van (luggage of 12 ppl, approx. 2 bags per person); the whole back window was blocked but it didn't matter coz the van didn't have a rear view mirror newayz, haha... dangerous. So yah.. we headed off to balsam lake which is an hour and a half drive from here. Arrived there around 2. We set up our tents, but none of us knew how to set it up. The person who brought it knew but he wanted us to figure out how to do it ourselves since we're suppose to b "leaders" but he ended up helping us... and tearing whtever u did b4 down coz it was wrong. It was tiring but so fun. I got pictures, but too lazy to put them out rite now. We ate filipino food coz both counsellors were filipino which was kool coz one of my friends doesn't understand much chinese, so the counsellors would speak whtever their language is, and we would speak cantonese (i'd b quite quiet) and my friend would not understand anyone of us (we would do this on purpose, much more funnier). After, we went to the beach area, some went fishing, some just talked and played tag (me). I had to cook dinner that day (me cooking... haha) with someone else and we made fried marinated chicken and fried pasta. So nice! Tasted good, but i think some weren't cooked well enough. We made camp fire after and just started talking and playing games around the camp fire. Then ppl took showers at 2 30 while others were just too tired and slept (me), but we still stayed up 'til the ppl taking showers came bak coz they wake us up when they get into the tent.

Yesterday we ate danishes and scrambled eggs and sausages. It tasted goooood, but i was on clean up duty that day and it was so greesie! We played a few group games after and started to make lunch (breakfast at 11 and lunch at 1). We ate tacos! mmm... yummy! it was so filling. All the food during camp was filling. Anywayz, after lunch we went down to the beach again. Some took a shower, i just washed my hair coz it was itchy and was so annoying! We were gonna go paddle boating but we were too late. I went fishing that day! ooo... i caught 2 fish! but they were two small to eat; one of them was almost big enough, but was just under the eating line... lucky fish. There was also a fish that ate one of our counsellor's bait AND hook, which caused our counsellor to b mad so we all helped him try to catch that fish. haha, spent half an hour trying to catch that one fish (it was just under the docks eating our bait, smart fish!) We ran out of worms and it was starting to get cold so we headed bak to camp. We ate dumplings and other hot pot food for dinner! It was nice... such healthy and delicious food! After, we had another campfire, but b4 we lit up the fire, we all looked at the stars which looked soooo pretty coz there wasn't much lights there. It was mostly a rural area so not much lights. If we didn't haf flashlights, it would b pitch black! Scary! I thought up of scary stuff but some girls didn't wanna hear it so i stopped. There was also some shadow performances, but that'll take too long to describe. So yah, roasted marshmellows that day, had glow sticks and sparklers. So amazing! I took a shower that day (hehe) so yah, it was freeezing that day too! I could c my breath. We talked about the leadership stuff n other stuff concerning the fellowship, but that doesn't go in this post. (ps. slept at approx. 2 30)

Today, woke up at 9 35ish i guess. I started using this lighter to burn spiders and bees. it was fun, but the insects deserved it! kept on bothering us and touching our food! but i felt sorry for the lil' insects... and arachnids. newayz! we had brunch which was grilled sandwiches; it tasted great! i'm gonna try that at home... after we started cleaning up and packing our stuff to go home which took about an hour or two. Taking down the tents... so sad coz we spent so much time constructing it, destroying it was just that much harder... and that much faster. So yah, we went to the beach one last time, took some group pictures, skipped some rocks and we were off to Toronto! uh... thts about it. Details were left out coz the post would b too long. But not much details were left out so don't worry.

My Week

*trying out Blogger for WordSo what has happened since I last posted? I don’t even remember the last time I posted, if that says anything…The very long Poker Night… -What was supposed to be a night spent playing poker and sleeping over when we finally got tired turned into us getting bored with poker very quickly and us not sleeping at all, by this I mean we were up so late that it was bright outside and we could walk home. Poker went til midnight by that time, almost half the people that were there had to leave taking the number down to about 5, then somewhere between there and 6am there was a long game of risk that didn’t end as we played the mission version, and nobody could complete their mission because they were too far away from where they had to be so that ended in a draw; random games which got weirder and weirder as the night went on (or was it us?) and by the time 6ish came along which all of us were still wide awake (“We chose to blame the amounts of pop everyone drank”) we were pretty much having the same effects of drugs without actually taking them? Attempting to walk home was “Is that a person, no wait it’s a fire hydrant” by some… Which was followed by: The only one -Then on Friday, there was that big rainstorm/tornado/loud noises/I was in the basement and I could hear it. So things going along fine til boom! Power’s out. Wait for it to turn back on, and then wait some more… and this lasted for 6~7 hours?? Reminders of the black out last year, which would have been fine… EXCEPT after talking to other’s and realizing how I was the only one who had their power go out, and nothing happened to them except one 1sec blackout. Which then was still not bad enough: Filling buckets of water -No I wasn’t at the sink with a bucket of water turning it on, I was literally on the ground with a towel in my basement transferring water all over my basement *carpet to a bucket, and all I had to do it was a towel. Must have filled at least one whole bucket just with water all over the ground, one bucket does not seem like a lot but when you have wrung 834709238745984365 towels to get it, its a lot…

From 20 to 2 or 120

First, i must say, i've waited a week so someone could post so i wouldn't have to post twice in a row. But now i've given up on waiting coz it's boring and i'm beginning to forget wht happend this past week.

Well, arts/music camp was not as hectic for me as it was during the normal daycamp, but that's a bad thing for the campers coz me not doing as much means they're not doing as much. For 4 dayz, the schedual has been the same... repeating the same thing day after day...after day... it got pretty boring. Also, i was tired for the past 2 weeks and haven't been getting much sleep so i got a little sick. Then now it has accumulated and now i am sick and i still got lotz of other things to do this month. But i'm glad i got other stuff to do, so yah, whtever.

The sched. is usually like this except for friday, morning kids come in, we do half an hour of worship, kids split off to do choir stuff for an hour and a half, then they all split up to their electives (recorder, violin, art, guitar) for an hour and then lunch. After lunch they have recreation time where me and other staff ppl plan out games for them to play for an hour, then they split off to their afternoon electives and they do that for about an hour, then they take a washroom break, haf snack, then they go watch a video while parents come and pick them up one by one. yup... seems full but it gets a bit too routine after a while.

I helped out in the art section eventhough i wanted to help in the guitar section so i could learn something too, but oh well. Art was fun i guess; they made bags, baskets (i made one too but they threw it out coz maybe they thought it was garbage or something), drew pictures and made stuff out of popsicle sticks.

Yesterday was the most KOOLEST day ever! lol. We did everything we did the past four dayz up to the choir stuff. Then we went bowling! hahaha, i got to spin the ball! But i had to go to 5 pins coz i had to help look after the little kids. The bumper is so kool... but one of them didn't work! so annoying! The middle part of the left bumper had a little problem so the bowling ball would go into it. I was the first one to do that too... which was embarassing and frustrating! But then after bowling, it was raining so hard! like most of everyone should know. It took us 20 minutes to get there from church... it took us 2 hours to get bak to church... or 120 minutes. 2 hours on a bus with kids! I can't believe most of them were still energetic! some ppl were taking a nap; i wanted to but then some staff were taking pictures of ppl sleeping so i couldn't sleep or else i'd get a picture taken of me. It was so interesting though! we could see cars in wht we called "lakes" coz the water was just sooo deep! -sighz- floods are just so kool. But the ride was so... ahhhh! yah.... i see a sign that says "steeles 1 km" on the highway and that would normally b like "yes! 1 km to go" but yah, that turned out to b not so true as it took us nearly an hour to actually get to through that 1 km. After we got to steeles, we were just 1 main road away to our final destination... it took us an hour to get there too! But that might of been coz of something else which may take too long to explain.

This post is getting too huge so i'll just brief up stuff with no details. So, arrived bak at church at 6 when we were supposed to b bak by 4 20 and kids were to b picked up by 5. Got dinner with friends, talked, went to fellowship (very fun and hilarious), went bak home, no electricity (grrr) slept at 11 listening to borrowed cd from friend which i'm listening to now too.

Ok! The only free days i have are next thursday and friday. One of those days we have to go take our driving test!!! sheesh...

day camp over, arts camp started

hello everyone! Omgosh! M&m's posted without us threatening him to! -sniffs- wht a happy moment.

Anywayz! Wednesday! went to the world of circus, got embarassed, won't say how. It was raining that day too, but it was pretty ok. After camp was over, my partners and I went to party packagers to buy some gifts for our kids since every grade did it. IT WAS SO KOOL THERE! I dunno if it was my first time going there, i don't remember, but OH MAN! I am soooo going there again. Maybe once before school starts, another before halloween. They have such neat stuff there... -sighz- I bought one thing there just for me, and so did my other friend. We bought the same thing at the same time, hahaha... ok, i'm getting crazy. Yah... each kid got a 3 dollar max amount of gifts. So, we bought the boys footballs, girls bubble...maker... stuff where u dip and blow? and then for boys and girls, we bought each of them those surprise candy bags, stickers, and glow in the dark dinosaurs! I might b forgetting one item, but that's just coz i woke up from my nap and i'm not thinking straight.

Thursday, went swimming! it was a bit more fun than last time, the water was a bit warmer but i was still cold. It was also more tiring, maybe it was coz all my tiredness built up during the whole two weeks. but yah, that's how it all went down. I can't really remember the details of my days. Oh rite! After camp was pretty fun too. First i had this workshop/meeting i attended. Then after we bought dinner, someone got me this spicy... food... and my mouth was like SO red! Like, u can see so many hot peppers in there! IT WAS SO KOOL! Anywayz, i didn't have lunch that day but a coffee crisp so i was mad hungry. *my vocab now has a "mad" in some phrases thanx to the people i've been hanging out with* I couldn't finish my dinner though but i put it in my bag and then we all went to good shepherd church... since they had this program there. It was so nice. I was literally singing my lungs out coz two times i felt my lungs about to just come out of my throat since i was singing so loud. It was tiring. It also wasn't that wise of a choice since i do yell during day camp and i still had one more day to go. But so kool and fun at that program! Praise and prayer for the poor in toronto.

Friday, very tiring, so it was good that yesterday was also very easy. Start off the day as usual, not that anyone here knows what usual is. After their lunch, we started this carnival thing. Had like 17 stations u rotated to; 8 teams; 10 people each team approximately. I did the tug of war! So fun! First two groups facing each other wasn't that exciting coz the other team won so fast. Best out of 5. Every group that faced off each other won all three in a row. But the last few teams had a little excitement. It took them awhile to win but i woulda liked to see the teams actually having like one team win, then the other team win, and so on. Anywayz! For lunch, we had this spicy chilli! And i couldn't even finish anything! I didn't finish the rice, didn't finish my coke, nor my bubble tea. I was so mad! but it was coz the spicy stuff really killed my stomach so i couldn't eat or drink anything else. I couldn't even eat dinner. I'm going on a spicy food diet now, trying not to eat spicy stuff. Bad for my stomach, haha.
After, dinner with all the day camp staff (i didn't order anything) we all went to fellowship. I had to help sing that day. It was pretty intense, but at the end of the day, at the end of fellowship, all the day camp staff that was still there made a pyramid! haha! first time i actually went on one. I think i shoulda been at the bottom since i was pretty heavy. I was on the second level and the first level people i was on was dying, haha. It was so fun.

Today, i just watched the grudge... and t.v. And that's basically it... haha. Mostly resting too for me since i got one more week to go. Next week is arts camp week where kids learn to play instruments and draw and sing. I think i already said this on my other post. So yah... after that week is over, i might go on a camping trip with the leaders of my fellowship group coz I might be one of the leaders next year... me... leading... ha...ha... (i'm a bad leader). But yah, i mite give it a try. Then after that camping trip that takes up sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday, i get thursday and friday off (except for night... fellowship), then after that on saturday, sunday, and monday i think... i'm going off to montreal for my parent's fellowship... camping trip. Full month of doing stuff! mostly... so yah. Zats all!

Quiet ,(pause)... too quiet?

with the removal of one of the very very few members of our blogger team for the remainder of the summer, and with echoes who probably has double the number of everyones total posts busy all day with little kids, it'll most likely be me talking to me and echoes posting whenever he can...
so what's new? piano exam coming up soon, so alot of time spent there, still have the g1 test to do as draknonen didnt get a chance to do it, thinking about more swimming lessons...
so much to do, so much time, yet i dont have the will to do it...
this week, tried playing tennis with others under 30degrees celcius weather, we didn't last long...
tomorrow is supposed to be "paintballing" ow...

8 Hours to kill

Probably my last post that I'll make for a long time, or ever depending on who has a computer in India and how much internet cafes cost. So everything is packed. I would've pacled it this morning to have something to do but my mom made me do it last night. At least I still have Jon's books to give back (face it... unknownuser is just too long and U.U. messes with the spell check). I studied everything, including the novel, but I can't use what I studied and I don't have time to take my g1. My mom won't even give me the money to do the test. I think Echoes (yes Jon, its not fair) has already left to feel the wrath of eight year old half size people in the name of his Church and the parents who want to get the kids off their hands.

postless for a week?

Whoe... this is like one of the longest times i've been without posting. I'm shocked!... anywayz

Yah... so the science centre was pretty kool. But i'd like to go WITHOUT the lil' kids following me or me having to chase lil' kids around. I'd also like to go somewhere due to my own curiosity and actually pay attention to the science centre stuff instead of making sure that no kids are missing and that they're all behaving. Coz we only went to the sport section of level D lol, like anyone knows wht i'm talking about. And also the kidspark with a lil' time devoted to the exploration of the universe.

Friday, animals were brought in by people and we all looked at them. They were kool eventhough we didn't get to see all the animals. Still kool and cute. Then my friends and I went to a barbeque for our small groups for fellowship. It was SOOO filling! like WOW! Roasted marshmellows, ate a burger, then a salad, then a lil' chicken burger, then strawberry ice cream. I couldn't even finish all my salad. so full!

Saturday, a nice hacker treated me to lunch... a big lunch. So thankful for that! mmm... sushi. Also trapped a bee inside my root beer can which was like 3/4 FULL. But i didn't wanna drink it after the bee landed on it, so yah. Once it went inside, we trapped it in with tissue. It's mean and cruel i kno... but if i let it free, i woulda DIED. so yah. too young to die.

Not much for sunday. Just set up our rooms for monday's day camp.

Yesterday, went mini putting/golfing just in case i spelled putting wrong. It was so fun, tiring, and SO HOT! Like WOW! in the sun for 2 hours with lil' kids running around and having to shout for them to hear me and stop. But fun. One of my kids got a nose bleed during the bus ride there, it was the most busy bus ride i had. There were like 4 teachers including me on ONE kid. haha. One person to hold the ice pack, one to hold her nose, one wiping her hands, and one to supply the materials to wipe the hands (me, it was a tough job, i had like 4 bags on me getting ppl's ice packs from their lunches to stop the nose bleed, and first aid kit to get wet naps). It was so kool.... lol. Seed destiny finally came out with an episode that DIDN'T ruin my day like last week when it had that darn recap thing. That just RUINED my WHOLE day! horrible! who puts an episode that recaps everything at the end of the rising action, near the peek of the climax? HUH? WHO? TERRIBLE! it's like someone spending 20 days trying to tell someone they like them and then rite b4 the day that something may actually happen, they go "so this is wht happend in the last 20 dayz" LIKE WE KNOW!!! NOW SHOW US THE GOOD PART! -shakes head-

Today wasn't that spectacular. Kinda not that great, but not that horrible. I gave into a kid's crying which resulted in me piggy backing her which broke a promise made to my partners which was not to piggy back anyone today. There's more to it but i'm too tired to type it all. So yah, deal with it. Now i'm here eating cookies and typing to u good people. goodbye now!

This post may b unorganized due to me listening to music and typing at the same time. Which may mean that some parts of this may not make sense or are rambling coz i lost my attention span and started listening to music while typing. ^^

The mystery of M&M...

Trying to find M&M, I see him on msn and try to contact him... but what do i get? random comments such as "I am lando", " I am an annoying little girl named Amy\" , "I fell gay", ... now i started to doubt whether this was M&M on drugs or whether it was actually someone else on his account?? ... trying to get one answer out of him I kept talking... and due to very slow replys, it wasted probalby an hour of my life... and the most annoying part was that i couldn't figure out who i was talking to because it seemed like there were a 930847698034 million different people talking, one time it'd be a guessing smart person using complicated words, other times it seemed like a child talking, and other times it seemed like the actual M&M saying stupid things he'd normally say... haha no offense... and then it spun of into *person* finally saying that they weren't M&M but actually his long lost sister who was the same age as him, yet they werent twins... what??
It turns out after finally talking to the real M&M, that he supposedly has guests over, which he didn't tell me about before we even started this stupid conversation. Two sisters which have no relation to him at all... one SEVEN year old and one SEVENTEEN year old... and that M&M was actually knew that they were talking on his account and he let them... such a big waste of time *shakes head*...

thank god its day....

I decided to kill time and download F.E.A.R. the game demo and play it since it had nice graphics and my computer can handle it and it seemed to have a pretty good buzz around it even though the game isn't out yet. I played it, and I haven't been as scared as I am now for a long time. Hell, I'm friggen down right terrified. (Twitch) its has a little girl in it like from the ring and some canabalistic maniac and with all the darkness and atmosphere and random nightmares..... (twitch) My sister was freaked out when she saw it over my shoulder....

Anyways, I duno what I'm gonna do for my drivers license since I still haven't read through the book and I should have done the test by this weekend and I leave in four days and if I don't do it, I just hope echoes and unknown go ahead without me.

Speaking of Unknown, he lent me his Harry Potter Half Blood Prince. For the second last book in the series, this book is seriously one of the better ones so far, but I can't help but wait for the finally since this book sets up the ending and if you haven't read it, THAN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA for missing so much. Well, I have something to look forword to by this time next year unless J.K. Rowling decides we're not worthy and its funnier to make us wait even longer and just laughs at our face on live on television. Actually, that would be kind of cool and then there'll all these teens and little kids with the urge to kill. No, wait, did I say that was good.... because its actually bad... evil... scary....

I have returned...

I have returned...

A dark and stormy afternoon it appeared to be from afar, water rushing, fires raging, jumbled screams being heard in the distance, people running.

Actually that’s what would have happened if I came back a day later and somehow came back from France? (who knows why I would do this but…)

Monday morning 6am here 3am back in Sanfransico, bright and early, we arrived back in Toronto… with me not having slept at all, and still not appearing tired. So as soon as I got home I attempted to catch up with friends on msn but slowly things began to become slower and slower as I lasted til 10am here or 7am without sleeping at all throughout the night… When it finally kicked in… I was forced to sleep, waking up somewhere before nighttime thus ending my first day back…

Well back to the trip which I was supposed to post an incredibly long post about… which probably wont be nearly as long as I think it will be by the end of it… to be continued?

Edit:

Japan for five days
Covered a bit of this on the random days that I was able to post

50 million workers and 10 customers
I don’t know if I went at the wrong time but every store probably had more people working there than the number of customers, meaning most of the workers were just standing around or outside shouting stuff in Japanese and handing out tissues with advertisement on it… the food section in the department stores had to have at least 100+ workers there just standing around handing out samples…

You know those packs of tissues you buy for a dollar? Well they hand it out for free in Japan

Collected at least 20+ of those… and this is supposed to be advertisement? Who looks at the back of the pack and can read Japanese anyways.

Arigato Gozaimasu

Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu, Arigato Gozaimasu meaning thank you very much, I have heard this phrase so many many times that’s while I have learned a new word in a week, it can get to be annoying…

Macdonalds Terriaki Burger
Tastes like the sausages they serve at breakfast only in a bun and flattened into a patty (I wonder…)

Malaysia for ten days
Family food, and more food and family…
- everyone there thinks that all of Canada’s police rides horses like the rcmp
- they only know Canada from postcards, Toronto is identified by its C.N Tower
- think Canada is really, really cold, when it was probably hotter in Toronto when I was there in Malaysia.

Typical Day
Met new relatives for the first time, eat, and if we had time a bit of shopping and sightseeing (not much since it was on a small island), maybe one modern mall?

The Capital of Malaysia KL (2 days in between there)
”The worst city for traffic ever”…
Most of the streets are one way so you have to actually go around in circles following the one way just to get to a place which you normally could have gotten to by just turning a few times… Two lane streets with half of them being motorbikes and not even following the rules of taking up a lane but just going in between cars and on the outside of them… and the traffic at night? An hour to get about three blocks away…

Getting Sick
Getting Sick in a foreign country… not good… I had to be taxied to the hospital at 1am in the morning… The hospital was fairly empty as it was one in the morning, so they let me in fairly quickly… They said it was a chest infection… who knows, didn’t take the xrays… Anyways with all the painkillers and antibiotics they gave me, I got better… painkillers are scary though because they do actually “take the pain away completely” and completely numb the area that the needle was in…

San Fransisco for last 3 days
One aunt who lived there, took us around showed us the city...
- its probably colder there than it is for most of the time in Canada
- saw the golden gate bridge, some other areas and things that people have probably not heard of…

Skimpy posts but there wasn’t all that much to talk about without revealing too much. So all in all, not the most exciting or things to talk about trip but it was defiantly an eyeopener…

favours

Good evening people, well for me since i dunno when ur gonna read this.

So, today was realli tiring, and tomorrow will b even more tiring. Today, daycamp still... we went to the park and i forgot to wear sunscreen, but i borrowed someone else's so it was ok.
Umm... yah, same ol' bad kids, but i think they behaved a little better than yesterday, maybe it's
due to the many many talks from the "adult" counsellors. I've been told to be firmer and agressives so the kids may listen, but i'm not much of an agressive/strict type. I don't want the kids to not have fun... but it looks like i'm gonna haf to start sending the bad ones outside to the hallways for a time-out.
Went swimming today at miliken mills, had so many childhood memories there from my past summer school. I was a camper then, now i'm a counsellor/teacher. So many things have changed.

So yah... really tired from doing all this work coz maybe i'm not used to it yet. Babysitting 10ish kids for 8 hours everyday. It's fine if it's the higher grades i guess... but when it's the lower grades like my gr.2's, it's like working out for hours. They like to sit on ur lap, want piggy back rides, just a lot of body contact that relies on me having to actually work some muscles. Letting a kid "fly" by them hanging on to one of my arms and me lifting them up with one arm. -sighz- So please, -situation deleted due to a lot of second thoughts-

Going to the science center tomorrow... all day... with kids. I'll still try to make some of my appointments with ppl, but please understand wht my situation is. I can just see wht one is thinking "oh yah, i understand, it's ok, u don't have to if u don't want to" ... sarcasm -sighz- then "really, it's ok, i'm not being sarcastic". This can go on... -deleted as well, i have to type this coz i don't wanna re-type my whole post again. Sorry for those who did not read it. All i kno is unknownuser read it... and eventhough he did read it, i don't think he understood most of it haha. Enjoy his post newayz though, he's kool.-

Ok, my personal thoughts are done i guess. Just haf a lot of stress and thoughts going on, so nvm! everything is just jumbled. welcome bak unknownuser, time to post?

Swimming in a storm...

So the from last Friday to last Sunday I spent all day eating, sleeping, and reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This, while the rest of the world was reading the sixth book. I just decided that I'd reread the fifth to get the story refreshed in my head while I waited for someone to finish the sixth book so I can borrow it. Well now I'm done, and can't stop thinking about what the hell happens in the sixth book.

I was lucky enough to go out of this mood of role playing things in my head when I went to the beach with all my cousins and uncles and aunts on Monday. It was probably the most fun I had all summer, and its already half done. I've never actually gone swimming with my family, which I can understand why because only me, my sister, dad and all three uncles knew how to swim. Everyone else walked. But it wasn't a problem since Markham beach is pretty shallow for about 500m from shore. I would have gone further if the water wasn't so dirty since you can't see that far under water. That, and the wind was picking up and the current got stronger the further you got out. This was all fine until I went out a third time (I think I think I was in the water for at least 5 hours all together). It rained, and not like a little shower, it rained hard with thunder and lightning while I was swimming with my uncles. It was weird, since getting above the water mean feeling the wrath of the hard rain and going under meant holding you breath. It was the first time anybody swam in the rain, and my moms family grew up on an island with their house not far from the beach. Swimming in the rain is definitely A.... Well... Its just beautiful, assuming your not drowning.

The rain didn't last so long, so we went back to shore when it died down and cooked some food on the barbecue. This is when things went wrong because screams came from the beach when some old guy struggled out of the water and collapsed on the sand. There was no life guard but somebody knew what they were doing when they turned the guy over on his side. I don't know what happened to him except that he was still alive, struggling to breathe, and had a lot of blood running out of his nose and ears. The ambulance came after about ten minutes. I felt so bad not only for the old man with the crowd watching around him, but also because I could've done something. I knew exactly what to do, but I didn't do it. I dunno why I didn't do anything, probably because there was already one person doing something right, but everyone else was messing him up which meant I should have helped him and yet I didn't. Does that make me a bad person? I fell like it does.

So on a lighter note, Unknown is back, apparently got sick at one point and his family forgot/ left his sister in the hotel room, or so my sister tell me who knows Unknown's sister well which I how I found out he even got back since we're all the greatest friends he ever had to make sure to check up on him. Now that makes me feel even worse that before, I can't talk about that anymore....

Lets see.... Things to remember.... I leave on the 11th for India, come back on the 13th of September but I'm trying not to tell my friends at school so I just happen to show up one day at school. An Air France Airbus A340 crashed after it skidded of the runway at Pearson airport. Everyone survived, few had minor injuries. Of course, after the public inquiry and all the lawsuits for lost/destroyed luggage.... Time will tell....

Update

Hey ppl, start of the last month of summer holidayz. Hope everyone reading this is having fun or had fun or will have fun...
I just found out that the last post title was the song title! I even found the lyrics and guitar cords and stuff... now i just need to kno how to play the guitar. Either that or get my mom to play it on the piano or something.

So wht's been happening... well i found out that someone wasn't actually in ottawa like they said they were but they were actually at home all weekend and didn't tell me. So u kno, i spent the whole weekend being bored like usual.

Monday I went to a daycamp meeting at 10, then i had to go with my parent's and their (church) friends to some place in guelph where we saw native houses n stuff and went hiking on trails. yah... It was pretty fun, but I did have other plans b4 this, plans that were made about a month ago... feel so bad that i had to cancel... now i got someone mad at me! yay...?
Yah... but i had to go coz me and my daycamp group members were so dis/unorganized that i had to go with my parents to that place coz one of my group members went too. It was somewhat productive and nature was nice but i got 4 mosquito bites from that and now it ITCHES!

Today, woke up at 7 30, went to daycamp at 8 15. Did super last minute/second room set ups and the day began. It was terrible! The kids were SOOOO energetic! waaah! The two head counsellors (i guess thts wht i'd call them) had to come in to lecture my whole class coz they were SOOO noisy! They just wouldn't listen to us. They used their outdoor voices indoors. Now i know how my teachers must of felt when they said "use ur indoor voices!" i feel their pain.
The gr.2 girls were pretty quite and nice 'cept for one hyperactive one but ALL the boys were CRAZY! It was so disturbing too! There were 3 guys in ONE stall! WASHROOMS DON'T WORK OUT THAT WAY! And there were a lot of other things but oh well, not gonna bother u with such disturbing thoughts. I was so tired at the beginning of the day though coz i didn't get enough sleep... so i was SUPER tired at the END of the day! and SOOOO hungry! After i returned the movie we borrowed for drakonen's birthday, i went through agincourt mall just staring and looking at food. I wanted to buy some, but i told myself i couldn't... at least not 'til tomorrow! mwahahaha! k, tired now, g'nite ppl.
