Now that we're in university, I'm pretty friggen scared about plagiarism. It's not that I plagiarize, it's just I don't know how great my paraphrase skills are.
I had to do a Psych project requiring me to make a presentation on powerpoint but not actually present it. The presentation should be 15 slides including title page, body, conclusion, and references. We were told that we'd have to do this since october... however i chose to do most of the work 2 days before the due date which was February 21st (today). My topic was on the evolutionary significance of music which i found to be a bit interesting. Well I had to or else i wouldn't have picked it. We basically had to think of a good question related to psychology and submit the question with minimum of 2 articles by january. Then we had from january to february to do the slides. However, making the slides is not the long part, it is reading and understanding all my articles that took forever. Even after reading the articles i had trouble organizing my slides. It's over now, however it was not fun. I could have done better, just like how i could of done better in my physio exam that i pretty much ran out of time and had to guess 2 answers (no time for educated guess, it was random guess).
So, due to the project, I attempted my first all-nighter. It was not all night, i stayed up to 4:45 and my body could not take it so I let myself go to sleep. Had to wake up at 9 to get to class, but decided to skip it and finish my project as staying up all-night did not accomplish everything. Eventually I had to go through all my classes, skipped my bio tutorial to finish the project. So from reading the articles to producing the slides it took around 18 hours in 2 days. It looks nice, but i'm not sure if the content is up to par.
My next all-nighter hopefully takes all night with no sleep not because i don't want to sleep but because i just want to say i stayed up all night. I found that after 3:30... productivity decreases. My main productive times are in the afternoon and from maybe 10 to 2:30.
Have to study for chem now. I would do an allnighter for chem, but 2 all-nighters in a row is not something i'd like to do before saturday.
