sick people!

Yay! i'm still sick... it's been over a week since i was sick so whatever. I just came back from my bio tutorial... i'm sad that i didn't get the hot T.A. that i hear people talking about. It's alright though, 1.5 hours of tutorial instead of the whole 3 hours that was alloted. My laptop almost ran out of batteries too during psych so i didn't use my laptop for the tutorial which is fine coz it's not necessary.

I wanna eat snacks but i'm pretty broke. Not broke broke, but broke enough that i've pretty maxed out the max withdrawl amounts from both my banks. I can only use my debit card twice a month... and i believe i used my debit card the second time buying my mini sd card for my new phone with drakonen from his cousin... i could've used that second withdrawl for 100 but instead i settled for 20ish dollars. Not complaining.... just... wondering if i could've maximized that second chance.

At my res right now coz i'm tired. Thursday is my most annoying..est day ever with 7 hours of class time on my schedule... if the tutorials were actually 3 hours. Booo to wednesday and thursdays for me. Tomorrow i only have one class so i'm happy today is over. So...very happy. Since i just came back i was sweating coz it's hot outside and coming into a room that always has A/C on is nice the first 5 seconds... not so nice the next few minutes coz now i'm pretty cold. Sudden change in temperature has made my stomach start aching. Feel like taking a nap... but don't want to waste precious day light...

Oh, hopefully no stranger knows where i live, but my wireless is unprotected so u can just try going near my house and see if you can get a signal. However, if my dad finds a strange person logged onto the wireless he'll kick u out lol! But that won't happen that much... only if the internet starts going slow.

Killing time

I'm currently sitting around at campus, in a large lounging area on a single leather couch just having finished organizing my note for chemistry tomorrow. Class ended at 12, and now I'm just sitting around doing nothing. I still have roughly an hour to go before a bio tutorial which I'm still not sure if i even want to go to.... its just that much of a pain in the ass. I only have one class tomorrow at from 12-1, and i have all my notes set up with OneNote, no more killing trees for me... well... except for calculus

Its nice having a notebook, it lets me surf the web or watch movies... I wonder if I'm addicted to the internet.... i wonder if I'll end up addicted to coffee.... Its weird, I've made friends with a lot of people, probably more then anyone else from satec... and yet I'm stuck lounging alone with just me and my laptop... there is reading that i can do, but I've caught the cold thats been slowly making its round throughout my biology lecture and I don't feel like sitting in one place and just reading...

damn I'm bored..... and lazy.... and hungry...

Start of something new

Well, now that we've all gone out separate ways, it more imperative that we stay in touch by blogging out daily mishaps. I finally have a laptop, and now that I think I've managed to get wi-fi access at school, I might as well blog from school... since thats what everyone else seems to be doing. The only problem with having a laptop is still being tethered to a wall, or in my case, a modem, seeing how I'll have to wait till around Friday to get a wireless modem from my cousin (free stuff always comes with a catch). In the meantime, maybe Gary can be generous enough to give me his wireless password so that I can steal.... I mean borrow, his unused bandwidth from his home. Wouldn't that be a kind and generous act? No?.... I didn't think so either.... I'll post more on university life from university...

Brief Report

Hey, me again, just a brief report on how school is.

Friday, woke up late coz alarm clock decided not to work so i woke up 10 minutes before class started. Generally takes 5-10 minutes to walk to class and you want to be there 5-10 minutes before class starts. So yah.

Also went back to toronto for like 1.5 days haha. Got a new cellphone yay.

Today, trying out for polevault... realized this was a university and the minimum requirement height that i have to get over is 1 m higher than my personal best. Doing that is like trying to learn how to play a full song on the guitar in one day. Possible if you're super gifted, but not that possible if it took me a year to improve 20cm or maybe 40. I don't know if it's in cm or inches or whtever haha. Actually.. pretty sure it's not metric. So now that i pretty much know i won't make it, I'll just go check it out tomorrow, see what happens. In the meantime i'm trying to learn how to do handstands lol! and might join the aikdo club. 20 dollars per term... not bad compared to the others. Should try some more handstands then go sleep. bye

Summer Oveeeeeeeeeeeeeer

So, Summer is finally over and we're all in university. At least i went to the zoo by myself for free yay! You guys suck!

Had 4/5 courses so far. I'll have my chem class on monday. I need to buy my books... but don't really know how i'm going to pay for it haha.

Western is pretty nice. Doing a LOT of walking though, my furthest class is probably a 20 minute walk away... probably, didn't really time it. Don't really know what to blog about. I brought my laptop with me for my first 3 classes and i didn't even use it. I used it today for my one class lol. It's actually pretty handy since i type faster than i write. Neways, my res number is 519 850 2914 ext.14793. Don't have a cell number yet.

I'll blog later

time tim ti t

times getting shorter, wow that was lame. But hey dont blame me, its 2:30 am

wow theres like 3 days left before i move to waterloo. i cant imagine not being in t.o, or the tons of people that i'll never see again. 18 years is a long time in one place, and in a few days i'll spend 5 years in another.

we started off this blog, in what, gr 9, gr 10 being in different high schools except for two of us, and now we're off to different universities except for two of us... weird how that happened again

this is a good bye post that really isnt, maybe we'll still be posting again in the future, we shall see

and lastly heres a funny uni thing that a friend sent to me, read it all, if youre in uni you'll get it.

Carleton University: There's a 95% chance you know absolutely no one at
Carleton, and if you do, they're probably your brother's best friend's
girlfriend's cousin who you don't really care about anyway. I bet all
you've ever been told about Carleton is "Don't go there!" Carleton is in
Ottawa (you were thinking Hamilton am i right?) and so its campus social
life consists of dull keg parties (they exist!) and AA meetings. For them
Toronto is intimidating and Quebec exponentially cooler, so they get their
jollies by flouting their Ottawness in front of all other Canadians. But
being from Carleton ain't all that bad. Sure they'll never wear their Univ
sweater in front of Waterloo kids, and yes sadly enough their most famous
alumni is nobody's favorite and strangely
regarded-as-unsuccessful
-though-he-technically-is-succesful-actor/
washed-up-comedian Dan Acroyd. But
>hey Carleton kids get higher GPA's than those who go to actual
universitys. What's that mean? That means these bums will get your seats in
all the grad schools!
>
>Lakehead University: Quick fact: 99% of the general populus assumes that
Lakehead must be in somewhere called Lakehead. WRONG! It's in Thunder Bay.
Go figure. It's new, it's widely advertised on the TTC and its name is the
model for meaningless unappealing university names. But hey at least its
not York! Lakehead is the college of universities. It shouldn't even be on
this list because everyone who goes to Lakehead is really just planning on
transferring once they get their ass in gear and pull those marks up. Not
much is known of this particular location and so we shall refrain from
mocking it too much due to insufficient research. Well that and apathy
which btw there is a lot of on campus. However this much shall be
>said. Lakehead can be a place for new beginnings and strangely enough this
is one campus where the people actually get along.
>
>Laurentian University: Farmers. The whole lot of you! Anyone who claims
that Sudbury is the place to be is in need of professional help. If you're
not studying the wide world of mining you really should not go here. And i
mean REALLY. You people are the definition of small town folk. But i'll bet
ya two sheep and a bushel of hay that ya'll are friendly as hell and we all
know that people skills account for 45% of moving up that corporate ladder.
Or in your case, someday those skills will get Betty Sue to hold on to that
shaky wooden ladder for ya when you're trying to keep those dang blasted
pigeons from nesting in your barn.
>
>McMaster University: Located in Dullsville aka Hamilton, you people have
absolutely no social life outside of your campus.
>Your world consists of shades of grey (much like UTSC) yet you have a
reputation for being the select few who can mix academic and creative
intelligence (much like York - gasp- i've actually said something good
about York!). You pretend to be part of Toronto when in reality you weep
every night because Torontonians regard you as lesser (and so snub you)
while the rest of Canada regards you as Torontonian (and so hates you).
Your grad schools have a great reputation and you can hold your heads high
in the company of people from all sorts of universities simply because your
system is so different that no one can really prove that underlying
suspicion that secretly you guys are getting away with having easier
courses.
>
>Ryerson University: If you know someone who goes to Ryerson you've
probably heard the phrase "But it IS a real university!" one too many
times. Ok Ok we get it. Its a
>university not a college. Give it a rest already! These people have a
knack for complaining. Well who can blame them when one in every three
Ryersonites you know is probably some sort of engineer or accountant. Those
guys actually do have a reason to b!tch. The rest of you should just admit
that in all other respects its still a college! You guys are St. George's
little brother. You look up to them and want to be as cool as them but you
know you never will be. What you suckers don't know is that your courses
actually are on par with those of St. George. Ryerson is the true scammer
of all the universities. How so? When you apply to Ryerson your odds of
acceptance are pretty damn high. But in second year your drop out rate is
phenomenal. Class sizes are usually reduced by more than 60%. This
university is smart. They get your money and then boot your ass out of
there. You guys get the
>workload of the 'real' universities but the reputation of a college. Hmm
on second thought maybe your whining is actually well deserved venting for
the many frustrations caused by your sucky sucky situation.
>
>Queens University: Snobs. All of you. Nasty nasty snobs! Your snobbishness
is solely a result of the fact that you know your school is known on the
international scale, you know that people respect the name of Queens and
that you must be a pretty good all rounder to have gotten in. Hell even
Anne of Green Gables wanted to go here! Lets face it you guys are mostly
rich, white kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Even if you're
not white, your individual style is soon assimilated into the mass market
style of gino's/gina's. Right now Von Dutch is big and so are those trucker
hats and farmer plaid shirts. You have all them don't you? You do know how
to party it up.
>we must admit and for the most part you guys are ignorant of the fact that
the rest of us consider you snobs simply because we're so envious of the
fact that you actually get to go to Queens! Oh yeh and once you get out of
there the rest of us will STILL not want to talk to you!
>
>Brock university (The following is the original that was too good to be
messed with): Brock students cannot only walk and talk, they can grow beer
guts too. your friend will have seemed to have jacked their level of
tolerance, where their metabolism has slowed signifigantly. They talk in
"jock lingo" and seem to have contracted several STD's. They will
compensate for not having a football team by talking about their
sensational rowing team whoo freakin hoo. They may have contracted a third
eye also from living in residences bulit on top of a garbage dump.
>
>UofT Erindale: What the hell? Oh you mean
>the sauga campus? You have the reputation of prestigious UofT, in a
beautiful scenic setting and you get to avoid the crazy commutes of
downtowners and the ghetto styles of UTSC. Oh yeh and a lot of you are
brown. Power to you! This campus is friendly, academically focused and
respected. You guys are the 'nice friend' that no one really wants to pick
on yet no one really bothers getting to know too well. You're not too funny
or interesting either. You do your thing and thats that. Carry on Sauga
peeps carry on.
>
>UofT Scarborough: It's not a university. It's highschool in disguise. With
an emphasis on the crazy and exciting dating scene. (Sorry to rub it in
Ryerson but hey things will pick up for you guys eventually). Except maybe
uglier. Strange but true fact: The architectural style of UTSC is Brutalist
Industrialist. Translation? Its brutally ugly. The garden sculptures look
>like torture devices, and the school resembles a converted prison. You can
tell that U of T gave this place the leftovers of the other campuses. Hell
in some spots you guys have cubicles in former closets! UTSC is notorious
for its ghetto reputation but is a school that truly has flavour. Its
populus is perhaps the single most multicultural campus of them all
(although once again lots of brown ppl here too). And for the most part
they all get along regardless of ethnicities. This may be the one
university where assimilation is virtually unheard of. The down side?
Highschool cliquishness thrives here and after a while seeing ENYCE and
SEAN JOHN every two seconds starts to wear a little thin. For gods sake ppl
your 21 pull up your damn pants! Oh yeh and those cubicles seem to sustain
a secret graffiti dialogue culture that really should be studied. What the
hell does 'Syndicate' mean
>anyway?? Stating the obvious: UTSC's secret insecurities arise from the
fact that academically they are NOTHING when compared to St. George and
they know it!
>
>UofT St.George: The REAL Uof T (and it IS U of T not UFT) These guys are
the definition of annoying smart asses. St. George's reputation for
snobbishness rivals that of Queens. Their class sizes have ballooned to the
1000's. At St. George you're not a number, you're a decimal! This may be
THE hardest campus of them all and the most respected. Where UTSC bells
marks up, St. George consistently bells down. Why? Everyone here emerged
from the womb with a straight A report card in hand, a testament to the
fact that they were/are/will always be in the '90th percentile' of the
general populus. Now these suckers are pitted against eachother in a bloody
fight to the finish. Welcome to the real world smart asses, you ain't all
>perfect and somebody has to get that 60! These guys are miserable (if
they're passing), especially if they're the severely isolated and
chronically lonely, verging on depression commuters. Commerce is full of
Chinese kids who primarily only talk in Mandarin/Cantonese and almost every
other field is dominated by white kids. And EVERYONE is seriously over
caffeinated. Oh yeh, it's also COMPETITIVE. Friendliness is interpreted as
a sly method to get someone's notes/syphon off their intelligence. And that
irritating dwntwn chique is alive and well, so don't be surprised to see
some non-asian chick in a kimono chatting about the plus side of communism
with her friend in a puffy pink formal organza dress (with heels of
course). At heart downtowners are embracers of all things and all people,
but in order to see that you'll have to get them to slow down and talk to
you for two seconds and lets
>face it, if they want to graduate from St. George they don't have the time
to do anything else but study!
>
>University of Guelph: Is it just me but doesn't guelph sound liek it
should be a verb for vomiting? Maybe its just me ... anyway you guys
originally planned to be vets but got screwed over when those bastards from
Brock and Laurentian got your seats because they had an easier time getting
that high GPA. You have great personalities. If you know what I mean.
There's nothing to do in guelph so rampant alcoholism is the norm. Guelph
is the Bermuda Triangle of universities. Most of you are here for reasons
that you can't really explain. None of you REALLY wanted to go here but
then again none of you really didn't either. The vast majority of you will
graduate into fields you never really wanted to go into to but end up doing
jobs that you don't altogether hate. If you had
>acquired the skills to make a single REAL decision in your lifetime you
probably wouldn't be here!
>
>University of Ottawa: (Original version says it all) Your friend will
stick up for their school where possible but secretly tell you that they
only came to Ottawa after they were rejected by their first, second, third
and fourth choices. Your friend will visit Parliament Hill and protest
whatever is being protested because 'its fun' and because 'there's nothing
better to do'. Weird side trend: They either are French or speak French or
plan on becoming/speaking French.
>
>University of Waterloo: Waterlosers. Being the top school in Canada,
Waterloo students are smug and arrogant believing that they are the best
around! Damn you all for being right. Waterloosers have absolutely nothing
to do all day but study. Well that and booze it up. The transit system
sucks as does the night
>life. These guys come back to T.O. as often as possible to party it up. Oh
yeh and they are even snobbier than Queens and St. George! This campus is
ruled by Chinese peeps(in all things business) and by all those kids who
you never really thought were THAT smart in school b/c they were so damn
quiet. But if you're here for anything other than biomed, engineering and
accounting you need to get over yourself! It's not THAT good a school!
Trivia: the library was designed by Waterloo students and is currently
sinking into the ground b/c they forgot to account for the weight of the
books in the library. Way to go Waterlosers way to go!
>
>University of Western Ontario: It should just be called Western. It's not
a university. It's Western. An anomaly. A night club/ resort that somehow
got mislabelled as a university. Western doesn't count. Period. More so
than the rest. At the other sucky
>universities you're really going to college. Here you're not even going to
college, you're going to a non stop party. Your average intelligence is
actually decreasing. Students here carry backpacks full of beer and those
booze caps with the long straws attached. But hey there is justice in the
world. A degree from Western is worth less than that 2 4 ! Side Note: If
you're in business (post undergrad) the above doesn't apply to you at all.
>
>University of Windsor: Windsor? God I know absolutely nothing about
Windsor. It's ok. I guess ... maybe not. Located in the definition of
Nowhere's ville Windsor has a reputation for nothing. It may have been
bombed to the ground a long time ago and the rest of us would probably
never find out for another 6 or 7 years. Oh yeh everyone knows some
(distantly usually) that goes to Windsor.
>
>Wilfred Laurier University: You hate Waterloo with
>a passion. And they look down on you from on high with grinning contempt.
You have a fancy name but no solid reputation to back up that name with.
Sorry from this point on the best you guys will ever be is second best.
"Your friend will come back depressed because their attempts to mingle with
Waterloo students were unsuccessful. They may try to marry a Computer
Science or Engineering student from Waterloo because of their infatuation
with the school but will return home empty-handed. They may consider
suicide as a reasonable option. "
>
>York University: Saving the best for last. Where do we begin? If you can
hold a fork you can go to york. York Shmork. You all know the sayings, you
bought the T-shirts. York is the scapegoat for us all. Even Brock probably
makes fun of York (although you losers really shouldn't). A significant
part of the univ going ppl you know go here. York has a
>brilliant business program, and is probably THE BEST university for a
career in arts. But no one will ever take it seriously. Why? Many reasons.
Many many reasons. Firstly York offered every kid at UofT, Waterloo and Mc
Master 1000's + a car +human sacrifices in an attempt to sway their
decision. And it STILL didn't work! At York every single day is fashion
friday. The biggest fixture on campus is not the library, not a cultural
center, and no not even the athlethics center. No the biggest fixture at
york is the york pseudo mall. Are you ferreal?? It's supposed to be a
UNIVERSITY. Shop when you get home! Or at least on the weekend! York's
focus isn't on keeping up with academics, its on keeping up with that
latest fashion trend. The girls here are gorgeous, the bling blinding and
if I see another $1000 Louis Vuitton purse in my face I will SCREAM.York is
that kid who always got picked
>on, by the cumulative group of every single other university in Canada.
Face it Yorkers, you guys may be alright but the rest of us bond over
picking on your sorry asses. So it ain't gonna stop anytime soon.

Last few weeks

Ok, this is just dumb. Why am i the only one who's posting? I'm so upset at this i'm not even gonna do anything to my font.

Anyways, submitted my 2 weeks resignation notice to my manager. It was scary stuff, but it was all good.

Finally finished Resident Evil 4, although Unknownuser beat me to it. So now basically going through the whole game again with all the weapons i had last round. Everything is so much easier. I went through at least our weeks worth of playing in 1-2 hours coz basically know where all the enemies are and they're all one shot kills if aimed at the head properly. Also trying the other new missions like the ada assignment (don't know if that's the actual name... forgot it) and the mercenaries.

Today, woke up at 9:30 so i could go to the zoo with my sister since she works there. Got in for free, yay! Took me 4 hours to walk around the whole place alone and my walking speed when by myself is pretty fast. So, if I were to ever be with someone at the zoo, it may take maybe 5 hours if not more walking thorugh the whole thing. Of course, i didn't go everywhere, like all the pavillions or whtever. It would be too confusing to walk through all of them coz it's like a maze in there. So i walked from 11:00 to 3:00? I'd post some pictures but it's too confusing to post pictures. Maybe i'll post 'em up on facebook... if i'm not lazy. Doubt anybody wants to see it since it doesn't have any pictures of me in it =D haha jkz. I'm not gonna look like a loser when i'm already walking around alone holding up a camera taking a pictures of myself.

After the zoo, unknownuser calls me up and we are then off to empire theatres where we watched rush hour 3. So basically my whole day was free except for my pizza that i bought at the zoo and the two drinks i bought after the movie. Hahaha... should probably bring back some swiss chalet stuff for u guys. Would've stayed for Harry Potter 5 too but i didn't wanna miss highschool musical 2 on family haha!!! yes, i still haven't watched HP5. Anyways, yah, thanks mr.unknownuser for the free movie and popcorn... i feel bad now.

Oh yah, also spent like half an hour smelling some men's fragrances coz i had the urge to try it at least once. $60 for fancy deoderant, yay. haha. It's not bad through... still trying it out to see what the best method of applying the fancy deoderant (yes, i'm just gonna call it that now) is so it's not too overpowering that it sickens people, but not too unnoticable that it's just a waste of a spray. I was bored that day... i have a job... temptations come and go. blah blah blah. I'm the only one posting here anyways.

Summer almost at an end???

So the summer is beginning to end... once it touches August.

We still need to accomplish a lot of things while we're all still here in Toronto... or basically 2 of us are still in Toronto. I still want to go to the zoo! I'm going with or without you! Just better with people than by myself... haha.

Neways... this was basically a wasteful post. Just wanted to test out putting random songs on the blog. There's Linkin Park's "What I've Done" on the bottom of this page... or there should be. And I'll just add another song in the post... random song... just to test things out.

WII

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

So, this week has been pretty interesting. Wednesday, spent the morning watching some more movies... i just forget which one. To my surprise, my dad comes home after shopping with my mom and there he holds a Nintendo Wii box in his hands and i'm just like... "WHOE!" so yah, I have a wii now. My first real game console unless u count the very old nintendo which i think my dad threw out (if u search 'old school nintendo' on google, it's the one in brownish red'). I'm trying very hard not to get too addicted to it coz many bad things happen when one gets addicted to something. May need to learn how to download and burn games... hahaha. My right arm actually hurt the day after from playing... using muscles i never really used. Amazing. Funny how the first people i told about the wii was daniel and jonathan and how nimalan was the first friend to play it.

Anyways, enough about that. Thursday me and the rest of my family went to Niagara Falls for a vacation. It was fun, took a lot of pictures, i'd post them but it takes too long and it's annoying to upload everything. May or may not put it up on facebook, haha. Came back yesterday coz it was a one night stay. It was somewhat relaxing if you take all the walking out... but walking was kool.

A good experience

Yay... 3 posts in a row.

So i finished watching Dragonball GT a few days ago... it was kinda sad coz we've been following goku's adventure since he was a lil' kid to the point where he's a great great grandfather. wish there was something more after.

So today... was interesting. started off with me doing nothing and turned into a very hectic day. Basically, woke up, was too late to go to school to check on how i did for my exams. Started watching American Pie 2 while eating lunch when Nim calls and tells me about a one dollar milkshake. That led to Nimalan buying lunch then over to his house supposedly watching a movie but ending up watching 1.7 episodes of Heroes.

After, I had plans to hang out with some of my church friends from 5 to about 11. Went to church, drove my pastor's car which was kool! haha... not just the driving, but the fact that he trusted me with his car...and people in it. So drove to the TnT plaza to get something to eat for dinner. Ate. Then we headed off downtown for a street walk.
My pastor basically knew a guy who knew the downtown streets pretty well coz he'd experienced that type of life before. To make things easier, his name was Richard.
So what he did was he first sat with us at a park telling us a general overview of how life is like surviving downtown while homeless and it opened my eyes a lot. Just the dangers that are present in all areas of downtown. We all walk around probably around the Eaton Centre not knowing that nearby there are hookers, prostitutes, male prostitutes hanging around selling their bodies to people who could be our parent's colleagues or our neighbours. We may know that they're there, but we may not always remember or be aware of it and merely brush it off. What we don't see can't hurt us. Richard took us around the gay community, where the boy hookers were and I say boy coz they are usually aged around 14-17. any older and ur considered old. We had to walk around and it was a weird experience for the guys especially coz u feel and sometimes see that you're being checked out. You have guys staring at you and it just puts one into the shoes of a female in the heterosexual world. Guys hanging around checking out girls.
The night was just an experience that you had to be there for and not really hear about.

Unfortunately we just had the light shortened "tour". Regular walks are about 5 hours long. We had... maybe four. It was fun nonetheless. There are also some where you actually have to stay over night with nothing but a toothbrush and the change in your pocket. You have to panhandle and go to the salvation army so you get to experience what it's like being homeless. You really have to swollow your pride and dignity. I couldn't even summon the courage to ask for a sandwich from a truck that gave sandwiches to homeless people for free. I was suppose to ask what organization they came from but i chickened out. I wouldn't survive on the streets for 2 days. It honestly opened my eyes to a world that we visit maybe every few weeks. Giving change to panhandlers isn't always a good thing. We have to think about what our actions are doing for them. An example that richard gave us was giving a homeless person 1000 dollars. They could go to a club and spend most of it on alcohol to celebrate and die from it. Giving too much can kill them. Weird, but true. People that we pass on the streets could be struggling to not just get into university or find a good job, but to survive. Finding smart sleeping locations that help protect them from other panhandlers, gangs, or just any stranger raping them or taking all their stuff. Anyways, i'm rambling. I loved today.

No more exams?

So... pretty much done highschool. Last exam was finished today. I'm actually at daniel's house right now... don't know why, i just am.
So I've been busy with watching movies and anime. So far, i watched 40 year-old-virgin, eurotrip, and ice age 2. The rest of the week i am and have been busy with catching up with Dragonball GT coz I'm the only one who haven't watched the whole thing yet. Watching maybe 10 to 20 episodes per day. Right now i'm at the part where they face the evil eternal dragons. It's keeping me pretty busy. So sad...
Anyways, we need to get together to plan what we're gonna do for the rest of the summer. ZOO!!!! and the ROM... maybe. Or we can save money and take a trip across seas =D yay. Go europe... lalala. Ok, don't know what else to say. May or may not post again later.

Recap

Wow... already June. Our high school years are closing... don't know why everyone is looking forward to summer break and university. It's like hoping to get older so you have more responsibilities while not being able to go back. You can always go forward, can't always go to the past. Trying my best to enjoy the last 2 weeks of school... eventhough it's filled with exams... well not filled since i have technically 3 exams but really I have 2 because the exam for english was really the essay that i handed in yesterday so the english exam will be made up of students coming in and writing creatively non-stop for an hour and a halfish. Can't really study for that... I wish the chem exam was last since it's really the only crazy course i have to study the whole entire semester of. My sociology class exam is just the last unit that we we taught. So yah, chem exam tomorrow... doing my cheat sheet now, then going over everything after i'm finished my study sheet with playing volleyball somewhere in there... maybe.

The past 2 weeks were amazing though... filled with extreme good and extreme bad. I had Prom, went to an awesome concert, and participated in my last coffeehouse for my youth fellowship. In between I had to finish a cumulative assignment, have a very hard chem quiz, finish maybe two english essays and two media packages, and have a hard english test. It was a balanced week...

anyways... i should finish up my study sheet and go on to actually studying. We still have to accomplish a lot of stuff during the summer break though before we all leave to our seperate respective universities where Nim and I have traded places in the distance of schools from our homes. Not the actual travel to class... but from our home home to ... ah forget it.

"lets go buy the linkin park cd"

jon "i think i'll wait until i get a job before i can actually spend money for it"
gary "i wonder how much it is? lets go check"
jon "sees hmv closing, lets try seeing whats open outside, hey best buys open"
gary buys cd, then lets me hold it while he puts on his coat...
...
...
...
the end
i end up with the cd somehow, "birthday present he calls it" "lies"

ok so in other news, gary has been added to the list of people i have to get back

- the linkin park cd was only 13.99 and its brand new, and i think all the cds were all around that price range... which is a huge drop from the typical $25-30 it would have cost last year or the year before... the music industry is going down the drain

- lyrics make much more sense when you actually see the written version rather than trying to listen to a song and incorrectly making up what you think is the lyrics which doesnt really make any sense when you actually try to understand it

- landed my empire theatre job... minimum wage!, already start and have 4 shifts for a total of 20 hours, not exactly an ideal schedule they gave me but at least theres no weekends, *pirates weekend as they call it so no training for me until after its all over, i get to do easy jobs like the floor which i guess means clean up whatever i want? they really didnt give me a very good description of it. ok they gave us alot to read on employee expectations so no random favors guys, i really dont want to get fired that soon... i can bring like myself and oen guest to the movies though

- alot of mac people getting the empire theatre job, 6/8 people that were hired are in various grades in mac, maybe they really like the school or something?

- apparently we have another round of tests and then exams coming up? i'm doing practically nothign but its still alot of stuff to do nothing for, semestered schools really "cant touch this", probably 5 exams to do by the end of the year? combined with slacking doesnt help

- 9 dragons? peter and company are obsessed with this mmorpg game yet i have no time to play it so lalala

- starcraft 2 looks nice, but by the time it comes out... it may be a long time from now, dragoons and dark templar i dont even know what they are now, dragoons seem annoying to look at... moving gun turrents.

Long weekend

Ok, so... whilst i wait for jon's post, i'll post.

Friday... nothing big really happened. Had my normal fellowship at night. However... the bus ride to church was a bit interesting. I have to take two buses to get to church on fridays so when i took the sheppard bus, there was this cute lil' kid who was with his mom. He wanted to sit so badly but there were no seats and i felt bad for him but what can I do... i was standing too with my guitar. So, after that I transfered onto the warden bus. There were seats there. I sat near the door as i always hope to do if not stand so i can get out easier without having to push through people. The kid and his mother was there too, but this time the kid runs straight to the back with his mom trying to catc him. The kid finds the one empty seat at the back of the bus where that whole back row were black/brown people. So imagine the back row of the bus filled completely with dark skinned adults and one seat near the middle of that crowd with a small chinese kid there just looking at everyone so ever innocently. The black guy beside him was just looking at him for like 10 seconds. I couldn't help but smile coz that was one funny situation. The bus started moving so his mom just sat down near him but not with him.

So, Saturday... i wanted to go to the zoo, but when i got there, there was a huuuuuuuuuuge line-up so i decided not to go. Went back home, picked up my mom and i went shopping for a suit at Markville Mall or shopping centre. Walked around there and actually bought a suit coz it was the last day my parents would be able to go with me to buy me a suit before my prom. So now I have a suit hanging at the back of my door... now i just have to worry about the colour of my shirt and tie and also need to look for shoes for the prom. After, Jon and I went to Eaton Centre coz I wanted to buy shorts and basically a relatively new wardrobe. That didn't really happen... but i did manage to buy the Linkin Park CD... which Jon should talk about if not I'll talk about it at a later date. The other details i'll leave to jon coz it affects him more and it's more funnier from his perspective.

Sunday... full day of travel from one church to the next, then to work, was so tired i just slept on the couch.

Today, didn't do much except go shopping! Went to Vaughan Mills with my parents while my sister was at work. My dad bought new sunglasses for driving, my mom bought clothes coz they were on sale, and so did I! bought 2 new shirts, 1 new sweater/jacket/whtever, 1 new pair of pants, and 1 new pair of shorts that i plan to exchange for another colour/design coz my dad has something similar to it already. Therefore, i need to go to the eaton centre some day soon but yah, pretty happy about what i bought. Just need to pay back my dad coz i don't want him paying for all my clothes. The way things work right now is my parents pay for what I need, and I pay for what I want. So, my parents pay for my schooling and supplies that go with that unless it's something small like a pencil, then i'll buy it. My dad pays for most of the food stuff, my mom pays for stuff like my orthodontist or if i'm just short of cash.

I need to clean up my room... well mostly just my table... and I have one quiz this wednesday, one essay due next monday, one cumulative assignment due next monday where the cumulative assignment was suppose to take a month+ but i hafta do it in a week now and my essay topic and planning should start very soon or i'm screwed.

Plastic with a black stripe

Well, I finally opened my own bank account and deposited my tax returns. Now its just a matter of controlling myself, seeing how theres a new list of things I have to buy, some more important then others. Now, if only i could get around to a sustaining a source of income. I also got my G2 card in the mail, but this is old news to Jon and Gary....

Currently listening to songs from Linkin Park's new album. All I say for sure is that its different, and the swearing just doesn't work in the rock, though it does in the rap. I dunno, maybe I should be more open, but theres something.... childish with hearing swearing in rock. The music reminds me a lot of Breaking The Habit off the last album, I guess they headed in the same direction with this album. I think this might be the first album I buy.... though I also want to by Justin Timberlake's and Red Hot Chili Pepper's album. Or maybe, each one of us should get one of each? Then I could just rip it to my iPod in all the crystal clear glory.

Of course, with the iPod, I have to get around to installing iTunes seeing how I've finally gotten around to reinstall my entire system. It just runs so much smoother without all the previous garbage and just a single Operating System. It also helps that I'm running the final version of Office 2007 instead of the beta. The problem with the iPod is that its set to only one computer, which means I have to format the iPod and rebuild my playlists, and thats always fun.... right?

Theres one other headache with reinstalling windows..... all those saved passwords for all those websites. I mean, its either my first name or Drakonen... or something else.... I think I'll remember it... eventually....

When one is left bored

It's pretty scary when a working man is relaxing on a day that he's not working and starts to think about life. Most of today was me napping on the couch, preparing myself for work tomorrow. I do have homework, but as procrastinators all do, I'm leaving my homework until the last minute.

So basically this is how my thoughts became to be; I took a nap, decided to go walk around agincourt mall after my nap, bought bread and cinnemon toast crunch! yummy. Didn't have cereal for a while. Came bak home, ate dinner, then watched to episodes of an anime none of you watch (Major). Then I went downstairs and saw my mom and randomly realized how precious life is. It was a totally spontaneous thought and it pretty much scared the heck out of me. One day, we'll all be adults, have our own family, and our parents will not be here. Just as both my mom's and my dad's father is no longer on earth, someday one or both our parents and grandparents won't be here, and we'll be living without those who brought us here. I dunno why that thought came up, but our parents aren't getting any younger. Maybe we ought to start becomming more responsible with our money and our time.

This is really a moment by moment thing, I'll prolly forget this after. Which sucks.

On another note! Lets go to the zoooooooooooooo!!! common!!! Not now... but soon. haha. Before it gets too hot. What perfect weather we're having. Need to take advantage of this. common people!!!

two other posts in a row? thats not possible is it?

just noticed the right sidebar says: lets live our lives to the fullest, unno random thought

today going to watch spiderman, sorry i'll miss the movies guys. apparently spiderman wasnt bad which is a good thing as sometimes sequels dont have much effort put into it but they know people will still watch it. another long movie too 2and a half hours? it reminds me of titanic and how at that time it was a long movie and it was only 2 hours i think? dont remember but i remember being dissapointed at how short it was.

heroes, spread the word, spread the word. its addictive, gary and nimalan you better try to watch it. one friend finished up to episode 20 in three days? with each being 40 mins, 20*40/60 hours long. 3 more episodes left of the season, my mondays are always watching it anyways so no need to put more effort into that.

job hunting, still working on it, may have a possible lead at a far away theatre which could be fun if i get the job.

new linkin park album just came out, sounded great, already finished listening to all of them. I dont know how to describe it, I guess some of their songs went softer while some are even heavier than before. less computer sound effects which loses some of the linkin park feel but makes them easier to compare with other bands. was going to actually go out and by it sometime to support them but turning poor and cds are hard to use, maybe when i get a job which may be a while...

Rejected

No, this post has nothing to do with the title. The title is just there so people get attracted to reading this. Sad? maybe. Funny? for me.

Anyhoo... no, i never finished the book. I think i have some type of ADD or something coz i get easily distracted. I'm aiming for page 500 by the end of wednesday. So basically won't be finishing the book until the next weekend. Which is sad coz the rough copy of my essay about the book is due thursday. Although the teacher is allowing us to work during lunch and/or during the morning/afterschool after the due date... i think. I need a song about lies or life being an act or government keeping information from us to keep in control. The last one should be easier to find, however my song database is not as grand as it used to be. Therefore I need YOUR help. If you have any information, please email me/msn me/comment/call.

Just finished work a few hours ago. Therefore, i'm tired now. It was a pretty slow day today, not many people eating dinner at swiss chalet on a tuesday night. Still remember what I did last tuesday night... time goes by so fast. At least i got to talk to a new girl. Yay... sad...

Not many people are going to my school's prom. They even had to make an announcement today saying "there's not that many tickets being sold, so buy tickets! or else there won't be a prom this year". Maybe i should go... but have to ask if daniel has a date... or else i'd have to get a date to go... don't wanna go there alone with friends who have dates. I'd lose my self-esteem. it would be nice to just go and take pictures of everyone though. All that for $60? dunno...

If i had gotten my G1 on my birthday, i would pwn all. But no, i had to wait for my friends... -shakes fist-. So stop complaining! I should've gotten my G a long time ago. Driving is dangerous though. It may be fun and all... but if you take it too lightly and crash, you ain't kool no more... ur just one of those teenager statistics ruining it for all teens, enforcing the stereotype that teens can't drive well. So while you're driving on the highway, thinking you're all that, think before you drive.

That movie was messed. I'm gonna need a months worth of movies that make sense to heal my insanity. Ali was kool, just like the typical brown guys i used to hang out with at elementary school =P and yes, i too wonder what happened to jon and his wonderful conversation he should've had on monday. i was going to ask him online, but when i remembered he was offline.

I dropped physics... but i'm still going to the classes. "auditing" don't even know what that means but to my comprehension it's basically me sitting in the class, taking notes but not being marked for anything coz i'm really not in that class. I wish i could audit girl's phys ed. haha, jkz. They're too young, it'd b wrong.

So yah, the only thing i'm stressing over at the moment is english. So i shouldn't be sitting around posting. I still need to read naruto and bleach manga... if they're out. I know naruto is... so yah. Post again later.

Finally caught up

So now I can role with the big boys, finally having my g2 when everyone else got it last year and are well on their way to getting their G... when I've probably had the most hours behind the wheel. So now I'm lonely and unable proclaim my rewards as nobody seems to be online, though I could probably better spend this time doing homework. I've even gotten good at driving on the highways, which oddly seems easier and more fun then driving around on city roads. So all I can't help think is that if I had gotten my g1 on my birthday, then 8 months later with an instructor gotten my g2, then another 8 months later, which would be around now, I'd would we carrying my G with me. That kind of thinking just gets you frustrated.

Speaking of frustration, Memento has to be the only movie that I saw and can't believe I understood. Seriously, just go and watch it. Then just sit there after the movie is done and wonder how the hell you understood what had happened, and whether you accept what happened. The cool looking good guy ends up being the hillbilly bad guy and the bad guy ends up being a good guy. Sammy ends up being Lenny or a self image of Lenny upon Lenny and your left wondering why your able to make sense of this. I'd talk about the movie, but it makes my head break, but it still makes so much sense.

So Jon and Gary met Ali, no idea what they think of him, though Ali says that these two are the typical Asian crowd hes used to hanging with, so I think thats a good thing. I'm also stuck wondering how Jon's conversation with Nakita ended up, and whether it was him moving forwards or backwards. I also wonder if Gary ever finished his book, the Magus, as the Wikipedia synopsis seems very, interesting. Yes? No? Maybe? Dunno? Seems to be the question for everything.

Shall not be outblogged

Hey

Someone had to stop the row of postings, and i just figured i had to be the one since the other two haven't posted in a while.

Let's see... just working 2 days this week; thursday and saturday. Was suppose to work tuesday, but couldn't. So yah... my pay will be significantly lower than last time. Oh well... it's not about the money... ahem..

Don't know whether to drop physics or anthro or none. Right now it's none... but when i have physics i wanna drop it coz i don't get anything... and anthro in a long run won't be good when i have to hand in my culminating activity worth 15% of my final mark. If i don't drop anything, i won't be able to have enough time to concentrate on pulling my lowest grade up. I already had one spare though... so if i drop one more course i'll just be down to 6 courses for universities to choose from. Basically, if i don't drop any courses this semestered, I hafta get all four courses above 73% which is my calc mark. Unless they count mark as one of the 6 since it may be a compulsory course and they may just count it. I don't know how universities work.

I finally bought something from work though. Yay perogies. I never ate them before until thursday. It's not bad... should've ate them while they were hot, but oh well. However, for the price that swiss chalet sells them... dunt think it's worth it. 5ish dollars for 8ish perogies?... You can buy a full meal with that amount of money. Luckily, I work there and was on my shift 'cept i was taking a break so i had my 50% discount! yay! finally took advantage of one thing. That kinda made up for the loss of a few cents from buying guitar strings from walters music store where i could've used my employees discount for stc there. Boo... I blame unknownuser for not reminding me since he was the last one to look at it.

Oh yah! and when we went to stc last saturday with unknownuser, this guy basically told me not to buy a certain drink from their shop. He was like "It's not sweet... you won't like it, try something else". I couldn't show my emotions coz it would've caused problems but wth? Number one, i tried it before already and i liked it (although not from their particular branch). Number two, dude... customers are always right. If you want profit, don't tell me stuff like that. I'm just like "ok, fine... I just won't buy anything from you at all then" in my head... of course. Just weird. it was kool that he was looking out for me... but this is like stereotyping me or something. Just coz i'm young doesn't mean i want everything sweet (which i probably do). He doesn't know me... how does he know if i want something sweet or want a nice tea?

So tired. I have to read 300 pages in... 2 days now. I should read a bit tonight. Shouldn't really be posting now. Ok, will post again when jonathan is on his blog take over rampage post-a-thon again.

considering getting a job

lately, with so much free time on my hands i've been considering getting a part time job. problems i forsee is a) my lack of job experience, hence a quite blank resume. b) location, i live on the quietest street with not many places to apply to.

- turned 18 on the 18th it was a good day to have a birthday, have yet to use the privileges of being 18 yet.

- searching acoustic versions of songs on youtube, and since most are usually live, it sounds much better and shows which artists are actually really good, or just have the money to buy better recording and editing devices for their albums.

- finding out that the library is actually a very quiet place to study. too quiet maybe, once it gets past 2 hours, my head actually hurts from working.

- watching hockey playoffs, its sad how i actually have the time to at least watch some hockey every day, there are just too many games on, with at least somethign on each night. so wish the leafs were in so they at least could fill up a week of my time, before they lose in the first round.

- heroes returns on april 23,

Accepted

So i've recently got into my first two choices uft and waterloo engineering and yet i'm still not at all that happy. just relieved i guess. It was stressful leading up to it, but once it came, i dont know... but i jsut started to feel lazy... marks dont even really matter anymore as long as i can maintain it. end of the year exams that are worth alot of our marks still scare me though,

vow of silence

last friday/sat i did the vow of silence to raise money to build a school in africa. for 24 hours, i wasnt supposed to talk. from 3-10 on friday and 8:45-3 on sat i stayed in school where there were in school quiet activites to give us something to do but more importantly to monitor us to make sure we kept quiet. the first one hour of it or so is pure torture, everything moves so slowly when you cant talk. Writing things down on paper was done alot but it is a very slow substitute. You eventually have a basic grasp of reading lips and made up hand signals. After a while it does become something that you expect.
Somewhere during the long period of time that we were in school, we watched blood diamond which actually was a really good movie but it also related to the cause that we were contributing to. And they didnt tell us this til the very end when we watched a cnn documetry relating the events in it to what is really happening. So it all made sense at the end which i thought was quite cool as there was actually a point of the activites during that day. and talking once we finished was a very good feeling.

april... 12? sometime around that marks are due to university. I want that day to pass already! teachers arent getting any easier and my marks are falling slightly due to the many different assignments and tests that we have so frequently. stupid semestered schools, i'm sure they are feeling exactly the same way that they felt in december. After the marks go in, i forsee some classes getting smaller and smaller due to people not wanting to show up because they have gotten in already... and that list is quite long of the people whove gotten in... they arent cool... nothing to worry about, no more waiting? why cant engineering make decisions sooner, earliest is april but it could be as late as may? at least a month or more wait for me which is tough.

now i would like to proove why my data teacher is so bad. The way he marks and takes of marks for spelling and grammer in a data course already would have been enough to classify him as one of those *bad teachers that you wouldn't want. Even his teaching style, which is to not teach and get students to go to the board and explain it to the class makes it worse. But the data assignments he gives out? first of all we had to make a math jumble, that game in the newspaper, where you unscramble letters to make words which eventually leads up to a unscrambling a really long word to solve the riddle, well we had to make one of those. but now, "Find a mathmatical mistake in the newspaper". . . . .
what? that has to win the award for the worst assignment? newspapers dont make mistakes very often, and 60 students in both his classes are all supposed to find a different one?

looking for a way to do something with an mp4 file, its a movie, i cant read it, anyone have a program to view it or change its format? all the ones from google are all demos that need cracks which i'm too lazy to find.

My real post

Ok! So now that that part is over...

Yes, as I've talked to [UnknownUser] about since I was so amused by his randomness, I have this no longer secret coin stash that I have for my coins when my real wallet gets too heavy with the little change. I have one for pennies, and one for silver coins! otheriwse known as the "others". I feel like checking how much I've stored in there but I don't wanna get depressed.

I have witnessed the enjoyment of being outside and I see that it is kool. haha. Since there's the gr.10 literacy test, I've gotten out of school at 1:10pm on Tuesday, and I get to go to school tomorrow at 1:30. The tuesday one was a practice test i think, so i basically went to wal-mart, bought some snacks so I can eat them while I read my book outside at the park!!! I was pretty warm so basically i was doing my homework while getting somewhat of a tan at the same time. I'm TRYING to make this as routine as possible. Coming home from school and heading out to read if it's a good day. I went out to my backyard today and read there on my lawn chair, haha. Anyone wanna join me? Reading club!!! so nerdy... Please don't kill me. I just have to read 25 pages each day so i can finish my 650ish page book by the 25th of april.

My dad downloaded a few movies so I've been busy (now finished) watching the movies. Basically just watched Batman Begins?, Casino Royale, Superman Returns?, and 300. hahaha. Fun stuff. I wanna get the Pursuit of Happyness since it's out now and i haven't watched it yet! booo!!! But it costs quite a lot so i'll prolly wait until it gets a bit cheaper... if there's such a thing.

Dates to think about, I don't mind if you don't want to go to them, but it'd be nice. Most of them are Church stuff but I'd like you to attend... for me!
April 8th: My baptism, yes, I've decided to take the plunge
May 25th: Kyrios Coffee House; see me attempt to play guitar while somewhat sing at the same time.
June 2nd: This one you don't really have to go to, I'm just putting it here for fun. Hillsong /Starfield Concert /a day at Ontario Place =)
June/July/August: A FULL DAY AT THE ZOO!/ROM/SCIENCE CENTRE. More emphesis on the zoo coz it's more outdoors and adventurous. I want to go look at animals before I go to university!!!
I also wanna do a CN Tower climb!!! But it's in April... and Nimalan doesn't reach 18 until July. Unless we get someone over 21 or something to accompany us. Or something, I can't remember the rules anymore... or elegibility

This post should be sufficiently long enough.

Good days to you.

Comments

Sorry, I can't really comment on the posts unless i'm on my dad's computer... and that's too far away from me... so I'm gonna have to reply here and post at the same time.

[unknownuser] and your sneaky tricks trying to get more posts than I! Well you will not succeed! I shall break your posting spree here.

... I'll post another one after this, this one is just a holding place for me in case [uu] is posting one word posts which would get him a lot of posts in a row.

[edit] this post has been edited twice. once to replace [unknownuser]'s real name with the current name that I just typed. The second time to place this message in here...

just to race to a post

so another sunny day, thick jackets work a bit too well in this weather. They keep you warm, just too warm.

next week for the break, lets see, one calc quiz, one physics written assignment, one data board game project due, one chemistry test, one english presentation, possibly one data presentation, this is the first time i have seen what i have in store for myself next week

watching way too many youtube videos lately, search "evolution of homer" not sure if thats the exact title, but it was some special 1 min long opening of the simpsons in one of the episodes.

wow i dont have much less, i think i just started this post just to beat ... are we using names or what? dont know what the latest rule was,

i have probably have homework that i could be doing,

lets see how many posts in a row i can get,
i think one assignment/test a week would be good... unfortunatly i have more than that each of the weeks probably until the end of the year. Being accepted anytime now would be so good, maintaining a mark is so much easier than raising one. The waiting period for being accepted is so long as well (april or may?) , i envy those people in other programs who already have gotten into their program of choice and more.

another 20degrees day = more to do outside, such as tennis.

trying to figure out if theres a way to download a youtube video and convert it to an .mp3 file.

constantly running out of room on my 2gb ipod.

too much change, i realized how much money is lost to being "change" as opposed to a more useable "bill",

seeing an itunes gift card on my desk, which i got from buying a certain ammount in some store in the US, and finding out that i cant use it unless i have an american address i think? it has now become my guitar pick when i cant find one.

online libary renewals are very fascinating.

maple leafs win again, starting to watch it more and more as it nears the end of the regular season.

random

i just watched a very sad leafs game, losing an important game which may stop them from getting into their playoffs, so my mood isnt very great right now.

the sound from msn is really annoying as well, after turning it off the silence when you expect there to be sound is also annoying though though, so its a loselose situation

everyones trading in their psps for a nintendo ds, when they first came out, i didnt think they would sell at all... what a change,

getting readdicted to watching/downloading radio free roscoe from some years ago, due to the lack of heros being on,

heroes not being on... they took a break in the winter and now they are taking another 6 week break or so, mondays just arent the same

trying to get into university, redediciding what program at the last minute would be more of a problem as well, then having to email/call them to get intouch with them to change it.

calling long distance, 3.85$ a min to call waterloo on a pay phone? i was confused by the whole entering in 1 or 0 infront of the number before calling, learned my lesson.

drops of oil spilling out after biting into a kfc chicken. really took away my appetite

spring=a sunny day=tennis. will be sore after playing sports in such a long time. oh and volleyball almost always makes me sore the next day,

naruto is tiring to wach, after the manga there really isnt a point, something to do i guess,

youtube is addictive, search "invisible bandaids" on youtube or something, watch until the very end

March break freedom

havent done this for a while,

So its march break, Yes! actually it has been march break for a little over a day now, First/second day of it is almost over and it was pretty much wasted, yesterday when i had school was even more productive than today, did the multicultural show, finished my last test, watched 300, it was a good day, and then slept in til about 11 today.

300, the movie was actually not bad. wont spoil it for people who havent seen it. I'll leave my story leading up to it though, So going to fairivew with 3 other people and nobody is over 18 and the movie is rated 18A, just hoping that they dont check... 1. we purchase the tickets from the machine hoping to not be checked, 2. we pass the person who ripps of part of the ticket. 3. we see two workers standing outside the particular thetare checking id. 4. uh oh, so we fail and end a) up either watching another movie or b) watching the next movie 3 hours later hoping to find someone, we chose option b. We spend 3 hours in the food court playing cards, (apparently i've been kicked out of fairivews food court since playing cards is considered gambling?) and tryign to remember people who were over 18, we finally do find someone... but then we already stayed there for 3 hours so we deserve to have found someone.

This march break so far i plan to visit waterloo, havent seen it before, apparently its a concrete building in the middle of nowhere. March break is so short, ok this is enough of my contribution to this blog, must get back to the break.

Apparently No One Wants to Blog

Hey, unfortunately it's me again.

My 18th birthday has passed and gone, wasn't anything special. Haven't really signed my first permission form yet, or sign myself out from school, but i did get my own ATM card... that i don't know how to use therefore don't carry around in my pocket or wallet so don't try to rob me coz you won't find anything.

The point of this post is just to say that I finally got a JOB! hahaha! Well i dunno if it counts as a job... but yah. I applied for this dishwashing position for Swiss Chalet just for fun... and the guy calls me up and says I got to job. I don't really know if i even have the time, I'm just looking forward to the experience I guess. The interview was intimidating... luckily I didn't have a past job so the interview went faster as he couldn't ask me any questions pertaining to a past job that didn't exist for me. There's a Swiss Chalet opening at STC somewhere? I dunno... but if you ever go there, I might just be the one washing your dishes. SO EAT EVERYTHING and lick your dishes clean if you have to. My first orientation thing is next Saturday.

Weird stuff man... weird stuff.

I shoulda waited until I went to the job fair at STC and maybe centreville. hahaha. Maybe I coulda gotten a better job...

What the?

Haha, anyways, sorry for not posting. My computer is STILL having trouble viewing certain sites. It includes this site... well not blogger.com but the prodigyomen...page. I also can't download manga or anime coz the internet is a butt.... i think i wrote that on my last post... so i'll skip this.

I have no clue how this new version of blogger works with gmail. I JUST read the posts that were posted after mine.... today... and the posts were posted before exams... which to me were a long time ago... how i miss my 6 days of freedom.

Anyways, it's the time of year again, but this time it's different. No, i'm not talking about my birthday... that'll come after this paragraph. No... I am talking about my last coffee house at church for those who know what it is (prolly only jonathan since he's the only one here who came). With this comes stress and mad amount of practices for songs. Fun. (wish i coulda heard Jonathan's filipino song?)

18th birthday.... as i think about this a friend of mine is about to turn 20 tomorrow. Man... we're old. Makes you remember the old times.... and how we actually have old times now.... You know what i discovered? this poster...making...machine that collects all the pictures you want and prints it as a poster. I dunno if it's in wal-mart... i hope it is. I haven't actually developed any photos for a LOOOONG time and i feel like doing it. It's not THAT expensive... under 20? and that's for a heck load of photos, unlike the stupid grad. photos where they charge you 25 dollars to just sit there. I may or may not decide to have some odd party, if i do it'll be very small. Maybe a day of hanging out and me paying for a heck load of stuff. Or i might just be that lazy and do nothing on my birthday.

I'm suppose to be doing my homework right now. Starting to slack off a bit. SOOO not used to having 4 courses again. nooo more spares!!!! booooo. BUT, i did learn from last semester. Take AS MUCH information and notes as possible from the classes. Try hard on the tests and quizes. Then at the end of the dropping courses deadline, I should evaluate each of the courses that i don't REALLY need... such as chemistry or physics (recommended i have them, but not NECESSARY) and grade 12 APS (which i REALLY don't need... i took it back then coz i wanted to become a psychologist... i've changed my mind since then). I need english... so can't drop that. Yup, squeeze as much information as possible before killing it. Last semester i dropped out of data too early and didn't get enough information. I didn't even do my first test.

Unlike Jonathan, I take advantage of my procrastination tools. So i just blab and blab on here. I have no clue how many paragraphs i've written. Just an update on life... girlfriends... i have none. I've begun to drive alone, only to church on tuesdays for volleyball...otherwise my parents are with me. It's ok, at first it was scary... just sitting in my driveway for 10 minutes praying for safety, hahaha. I find driving at night easier than in the day coz there are less cars. I drive during rush hour but birchmount isn't that bad so I'm ok. Hmm.... and i got early acceptence to Waterloo for Co-op Kinesiology. All i need to do is keep my average up. I GOT A 73 IN CALCULUS!!! When i saw it... i was just like... "dang..." haha! There goes my mood for the day. My first mark under 75 in a pretty long while.... since... gr.9 french? haha... but that was just a nightmare. Talk about hurting my mark. 85 for biology... and i dunno what i got for exercise science... but daniel got 86 or something and my marks are usually near his, sometimes higher sometimes lower. I was getting 90's in that class before though... so it's a pretty great disappointment.

Anyways, i should go off now... been rambling for a bit of time. Hope everyone enjoys their school term. Stay tuned for any invites. Try to keep the 24th and 25th clear... if u can't it's ok... can always do it whenever. haha. Thanx for reading. =P

Oh yah, i've also been revisiting old music. Backstreet boys and N'sync... haha. Since i'm more mature I can pick out their sounds better. I have no greater respect than when a band or an artist goes acapella. That's where the true talent lies. anyways, yah, have a good day.

Talking to myself

-You made a promise today, keep it or be damned (which is what will probably happen if you don't)

-your manipulative, today was the day you ate a letter so that you could see what you friend does when you don't let him read it and take a desperate measure(note from the girl the friend liked), not the best way to test a friendship, and the permanent marker ink is making you sick

-you've got an easy final semester of school, balance of easy and difficult subjects with the best combination of teachers in the school possible, DON'T SCREW IT UP

-24 is actually a cool show, you've now found two shows you like that isn't drawn halfway around the world (24 and House)

-you have so much things to get caught up on its not even funny idiot, it honestly isn't

*labels are the same as labels in Gmail

Mid year mood

...
...
...
its been about 20 mins since i started this, and i sitll see a blank page, wow so not used to this. Must not remove hand from key board, must continue to type. All the right type, just realised that it was already on all of the schools computer so i was bored enough one day that i found myself trying it out. )being distracted by guitar in my hand. back to topic, excluding numbers, im fairly proud of my wpm which i guess i thank msn for, why couldn't it be around when we were forced to do it in... the buchan days, during what, gr 8 i think? mr chus computer class with the box over your hand so you couldn't see your fingers. Fingers for the guitar, so for the upcoming talent show at our school, they call it the multicultural show, our noobish formed band of whoever we could find is going to play some filipino rock song, which actually has a funny meaning behind it if you know what the words mean. if it were to be in english everyone would just say wtf. So many practices will follow for which i think is like 15+ or so which is a scary number because that just seems like too much time, and they will start once exams. Exams are not finished, they have yet to start. 7 courses of exams in a two week period, actually this is the best schedule i've had out of all the times i've had it. A balance of the two hardest courses algeo and chem with one at the beginning and one at the end with a 4 day break in the middle to seperate them. i still envy semestered schools so much, them and they're 3 exams, It feels so much better studying and concentrating for a few rather than sprading yourself out trying to study for all of them. Ah well, so far i've set my deadline of sleeping at 12pm, just to save energy for the upcoming cram sessions which i know will happen sooner or later within the next few weeks. dont know what i'll do after the exams, feel alot better if i did well since it is a huge portion of our mark right now when they are going to be sent in to univeristies. would go on, but its twelve, so this'll end the first post of hopefully not this school year.

Internet Bully

Man... my internet has something wrong with it. I can't view some sites and can't download from certain sites. For example, i cannot see the blog's page... i can log in and post and see the dashboard... but i can't view it. So i haf no idea how the new layout looks... I also cannot download naruto manga from this computer... therefore, everything that i can't do on this computer, i haf to go all the way downstairs to my dad's computer... which is a big hassle. man...

Anyways, happy new year. I has been a pretty long time since we started this blog eventhough nowadays our posts are getting... quite..... the period of time it takes for one of us to post is... quite.... long. Oh well...

I feel that i need to update myself. After Nimalan's poem, i just wanna comment on his "tap that". What the HECK? Yah... that's all. I am not kool... I don't normally dress the way i did when i hung out a week with u people a week ago. The jacket i wore i only wear during important dates (ie. sundays (church), holidays (therefore i wore it that day), dates (which i haf none unfortunately), prom....(maybe), last day of school before holiday, grad photos). Basically just not during school. The shirt i wore is one of the two shirts that actually go good with the jacket... which is why i wore it. I forgot what jeans i wore that day.... i'm pretty sure it wasn't my good pair... haha! yes... i am very aware of what i wear. I can remember each wardrobe combination that i did each day... until it gets too far away. The limit is usually a week, after that i forget. I just try to avoid the same combination per week. Now u know a bit more about me.

After the looong walk. I bought new shoes with my dad the day after. Unlike Nimalan, i'm not as picky, shoes to me is only for protecting my foot from dirt and harmful objects on the floor. If possible, comfort too. Nothing too fancy. So yah, my dad and i basically bought the same shoes, just different colour and pattern....and maybe material. But they are the same... 'cept for the size.
Ok, there's a word for that... they're similar. Also bought a new sweater. So yah, pretty full day that day. Played the nintendo wii..... it was actually pretty fun. I want it now... i can't play real tennis... so the best i can do is play it on the wii... that i don't haf.

I'll be gone for the next 3 days for camp. Back on saturday... maye around 4-5. Then i mite haf the reunion thing to attend. But i do got a lot of hmwk. So if someone plans on watching a certain movie... u gotta think fast and plan fast before i return it.

That be all....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2007 Edition.
For those that apply.
