Hmm while looking through the old posts, i see this one as being a draft, now reading through it i dont remember this, so i will use my admin rights to bring it out. -Jonathan (DRAKONEN WROTE THIS POST ORIGINALLY) (i thought it would post as him but apparently it turns out that it looks like i wrote it)
The war might be over, but rumour has it that it'll be started two months from now. So in that time, we'll be here at home from now. We should be preparing for the next battle, but seeing how we won the last (assuming that no one failed), I think this time of peace will be spent relaxing and with family and friends.
So, we far, its none of the above since I've been doing nothing. There was some tree climbing and such yesterday, but the fun of jumping out of trees involved intense testicular g-forces that did an then unknown amount of damage and best to let be for now. So in my time of healing, i'm playing sudoku in a book that i borrowed off a friend and never had a chance to give back.
So now, I'm bored, and since I'm assuming people actually read this, my friends of the asylum, wanna go to a buffet sometime this weekend or next week? only need to bring 20 (its not actually 20, but if we do something else)... also, two bus tickets or equivalent. ? comment your reply... for yes and no... and a suitable time

Into the second month of the second term
Hey i found this sitting in our archives as a draft so i decided to "post" this, i honestly dont remember writing this
A year ago was a long time ago... I was probably still walking 30 mins from my house to get to school each day, still trying to get into universities, doing alot of things that i'm not doing now. Alot has changed in a year, i'm in my "summer" and its probably more tiring to wake up each day for it than it was when i had school. I still get my nights off, but with few people in scarbrough and early bed times, it really isnt all that much time. Weekends are the best two days of the week just as they were last term. They really do go by too fast, I really want to use the very few sick days that i have just to make them 3 day ones, that really would be 'sick'...
Living in practically a completely different then everyone really is different. Until you actually experience going to work work, you cant really understand it. The roles, the responsibilities, and the tone of office work is very dif than university.

Girls and Relationships perhaps Pt.1
Ok, so unknownuser and I were talking about.... unknownuser's relationships because he didn't update me at all on anything.
Disclaimer: Post is just me, it's not absolute. Not meant to offend anyone. I won't do this justice because my thoughts are unorganized.
Now i'm just sleepy. Don't know if i want to do this anymore. I will try to go over everything generally and details will come later either in post form or actually talking face to face.
So let's start off with a bit of an intro. University. How it has changed me... lol, i hope. Reflecting on my life here and there has me concluding about a few things. The three most important things in my life right now is Christianity, Aikido, and Anime. I'm pretty sure I posted that part already. (btw, i bought a bokken today. very awesome).
Ever since coming to university, going to fellowship on campus, I think I've matured more in my faith. (I promise this will lead to girls). A lot of people could say they are Christians without being actual Christians. Looking back at my life, I don't think a lot of it has been very Christian like. I won't deny it, I've done some bad things in my life. But so has everyone else. The important thing is to change. I felt that I had to go back to the very beginning. As we do in every class in aikido, we do the basic movements. The movements that are basically the foundational movements of the techniques that I'll be learning throughout my life. In the same way, if i don't have a strong foundation in my faith, I won't be as strong when it comes to everything else. So my life this year has been "Back to Basics: Passion for Passion". I know, i selected an awesome motto/theme for my year. Basically, the very foundation of Christianity is just loving God with all your heart, mind and soul. God loves us and so when we love God too and establish that relationship, everything else will follow. Love, it's tough, but once u know what it is in your heart, everything just turns out fantastic.
Ok, sorry, had to get through that. If you have more questions, i would love to answer. But right now, girls. So that paragraph did have a purpose!!!
Because I'm trying to become more serious about my life, I want someone who is serious about theirs. Not serious as in "no fun at all" serious. But serious enough to make the most of their lives and live for what's important. I would like a girl who has the same interests as me. They may not do aikido or watch anime, but at the very least they should be a Christian. After coming to western, I've met a lot of drunken girls, tipsy girls (after knowing what tipsy meant), and i've also met girls who just loved God. This post isn't meant to offend anyone by the way, this is just my point of view. But the girls who are authentically in love with God were not just great and fun-loving in a period of time, but they're great and fun all the time, even when they're serious. It's hard to explain.
Drinking a few beers or whtever is great, but there are limits (i don't remember where i was going with this). I don't want to ramble on so i'll just get to the meat of this coz i need to shower and play with my bokken. If I were to date someone, I would date with a purpose. What is the purpose of dating? That it will eventually lead to marriage. Maybe even have a few kids. When I look at a girl and I'm thinking of possibly dating her, I would always ask "would i marry her? could I live with her all my life?"
It doesn't sound fun, but i think there's a time and place in a relationship for fun, and a time and place to be serious.
So, the first girl. Won't say the name coz it's a public blog. She is a fantastic person! always happy, I enjoy her company. She's so great in fact that I think she's out of my league. It'd be great to be with her, but I'm not at the same spiritual level as her. I'm learning a lot form her, but i think as a man, I should be stronger.
Everyone has different views. I'm not saying this is how it's suppose to be, but it's how i would prefer it to be. It's different for different people in different situations. So it's complicated. You would have to be able to discern for yourself about what you want to do with that particular person in a particular situation.
There are two other girls who are also great christian girls that i've met at western. But i'm just trying to establish a good friendship first. And if i feel a tug saying "do it" and it's not from unknownuser, then i will. (not from drakonen either) I think friendship is important first because that's how you know the real them without getting too messy.
Also, another rule that I placed for myself is asking the girl's parents first before I date her. And also ask what the girl thinks too. Relationships require two people. You don't want to forget about the girl's feelings. But parents have also invested a lot of their time, effort, and energy into bringing their child up. You can't just take their child away from them without asking them first. A good analogy i liked was if you had a mad awesome car. Whatever great car you saw or didn't see at the autoshow. So you have it in your driveway and a boy you don't even know asks if he could drive it. What would you say? No right? Isn't a daughter's life more important than a car? Know the parents and ask for their permission. I'm generally shy. So if i do ever conjure up the courage to go to the parents, i'll know the girl is worth it. Just my general rule.
Ok, i think i'll end this portion up. Bye

Yay Easter
Hey again
So it was the Good Friday/Easter weekend, therefore i went home home for the weekend. Basically spent 3 of my four days in toronto playing smash bros brawl on my wii! finally... it was the only thing i was looking forward to all month. Got that out of my system. Pretty sure by the next time I get back, all the characters will be unlocked coz my sister and her boyfriend will be playing it.
Came back thursday afternoon right after my last class. I found that it wasn't being in toronto that's really exciting since i've lived there all my life, but it's the going to the greyhound and riding on the greyhound that's exciting. Well it's not THAT exciting sitting there and just napping, but it's just... fun. I don't know. Weird.
Anyways, came home to find that my sister and company was playing smash bros so i just waited until they finished so I could start playing it. That's... all I did on Thursday.
Friday, woke up so i could go to church for the Good Friday service. Had to go to the one that spoke cantonese because I couldn't make it to the English one on Thursday. I understood maybe 45% of what they were talking about, not because I can't understand cantonese, but because my attention span is very limited. I still liked it though. After that, obviously since no stores were open, and everyone else was busy, no relatives, I was home playing smash bros almost all day. Took a break once in a while.
Easter actually trumps Christmas. I was just reminded of that. Christianity is really based around Easter which is the death and resurrection of Jesus. I mean it's great that Jesus was born, but without Easter, Christianity would lose most of its core beliefs.
Anyways, saturday smash bros, and sunday i went back to western without playing smash bros =(. I got a lot of instant noodles though. yay!

I guess I should post something or else no one will...
very upset about my exam marks. I'm gonna have to spend the last month of school studying hardcore. So annoying, I've never gotten such low marks consistently. I usually get one bad mark, and then do better next time. There are those who do well in high school and suck at university, and there are also those who sucked in highschool and do extremely well in university. I'm part of the first group... i did fairly well in high school... and now i suck at uni. of course there are those who do consistently well. What lucky people...
I'll b coming back home for easter. Possibly my last greyhound trip back home. But we never know, i might decide to go home again during exams or right before exams. Looking forward to possibly playing super smash bros brawl. Should b back thursday... maximum playing time.
Weird thing happened on sunday. I actually woke up laughing. It was so stupid, i had a pretty funny dream and i kept laughing until i was awake. I believe i even snorted. i couldn't stop laughing until i was conscious enough to know it was a dream and i had woken up.

599
Ok people, I am doing the 599th post. SO, if anyone wants to make us happy and do the honors of writing the 600th i wouldn't mind. If it inspires you to post something so be it. It doesn't need to be significant. just POST!
I finished the Prince of Tennis manga... that's pretty important to me coz prince of tennis was the first anime I downloaded and watched instead of just watching it on t.v.
It was the series that started the anime-crazed era that is my life. Although it would be more significant if i finished the actual anime instead of the manga coz i didn't start from the beginning for the manga.
Yah... that be all. Please someone post something.

Reading Week
My reading week was pretty fun actually... i believe it was better than my 3 weeks of my Christmas break.
So, i basically didn't do any reading. I'm at the UCC (university community center) attempting to study. I refuse to go back to my rez before reading some bio. Yet i still continue to procrastinate. Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday were the days i actually did stuff.... Sunday I went to church but that's about it. On the days I didn't do anything I played flyff and started watching a new anime called bamboo blade which is an anime about kendo.
So lets start with friday. I had my chem exam at 7pm which is why i couldn't go back to Toronto on Friday. I didn't do too well on it... and based on what i glanced at other people's walls on facebook they didn't do too well either. I was mad relieved when the exam was over though...
Saturday was my birthday. Thanks unknownuser for sneaking a 20 dollar bill in my pocket... i used that and now i have no money. And thanks drakonen.. for the free test drive haha which probably would've happened anyways whether it was my birthday or not but thanks. The test drive at the autoshow was amazing. First time in a long time driving. It was especially fun since i didn't have to care about gas. My driving is usually uber conservative (don't step on gas too strongly getting a nice cruising feel). After watching initial d, i try to drive so people don't notice me accelerating or braking. Nice smooth drives are great. However, i didn't care about that on the test drive, smoothness was not a necessity although i didn't go too overboard as many of the other drivers did.
I don't like the sound of the engine. I don't know, many people think it's kool to hear the engine roar... i find it very annoying lol. It's noisy...
Don't know much about cars, so i'll leave any autoshow business to unknownuser and drakonen if they ever post.
Monday went to the dentist. Then I hung out with my church friends, went kbbq which was mad expensive for a meal. I can get full with a 7 dollar chinese meal... but no... a 17 dollar kbbq has to be the social thing to do.
after that we just went to our youth pastor's house and played a board game while just chatting and chillin. Also went bbt.
Tuesday I didn't do much either except go to volleyball at my church. Didn't do that for SO long. Vball was ok, I was a bit rusty so i wasn't too happy. It was fulfilling to finally go there though.
Wednesday I didn't do anything except flyff and watch bamboo blade. I'm almost level 30 now... yes... it is a feat. None of my characters usually get above 25 like gunbound (i don't even know if they have levels), neopets, gunz, maplestory. Everything usually gets harder to level up once u reach 21 so i usually just quit after that. The only exception is diablo II. I think it was 30 or 40 something for that. Go barbarian! u... necromancers.
Thursday... the main thing was basically going to jiu jutsu with unknownuser and then destiny's with both unknownuser and drakonen. Jiu jutsu was fun and tiring. I watched the jiu jutsu club today after aikido and I was like "i wanna try! I know some stuff tooo now!" but i resisted. I just liked the fact that I can do basically anything when just free sparing in jiujutsu. Although I couldn't implement my aikido skills to its full extent I still used it a bit. I'll probably join the actual aikido center in london though... next year haha. 70 dollars for 3 months (20 dollars off regular price since I paid 20 dollars for western's aikido club so it was actually suppose to be $90 student price). Looking forward to that next year. I only have 2 months left this year so it's not worth it.
Speaking of which i have an aikido belt test March 16th. Going for my yellow belt! no stripes! lol... although it'll probably be a bit harder since i'll be tested on 2 techniques, not just the basic movements.
Destiny's was fun too. Drakonen was kinda high.... don't know what they put in that green tea latte.
They didn't put ice or a straw in mine and it tasted a bit diet as well. If they didn't put tapioca in it i would've freaked out. I did not get drunk this week... sad or good? don't know
Friday I was planning on going to fellowship but the weather was pretty bad. Normally it wouldn't stop me, but I wanted to do something else. I was watching stuff on youtube and I stumbled upon the usage of ki energy. It's interesting too and I've been trying to become sensitive to my ki but it hasn't been working out so far. Apparently some people sense their ki very fast and others take time... or basically some people are just gifted at it and others aren't. And from the looks of it I'm not. But everyone can use it through meditation and stuff. No, it does not conflict with my Christian beliefs. So this will be fun. I'm actually interested in ki therapy. Using ki to heal others. It'd be useful if i can do it. There are actual classes.. but they're like 70 dollars for level 1. and other levels cost more. Same with CPR! that's like 70ish dollars too... i think. Kinesiology is so expensive... lol. But yah, if u ever go onto youtube, check out ChosonNinja's stuff. It teaches a lot of different martial arts and has different philosophies as well .... i dunno. It's not one of those Chinese philosophies, just i think neutral stuff. He's a christian too... if that bothers u then... don't check it out? haha...
Saturday, was suppose to go drinking with drakonen friday night, postponed it to saturday morning/afternoon... and ended up not doing it at all. How disappointing. So i did nothing Saturday except pack and watch a bit of t.v. Then I left for western.
Now I'm here... trying to study... yet posting on this blog that no one uses anymore. -sighz-
edit: OH and i ate PHO!!!!! FINALLY ON THURSDAY! thank u unknownuser. that is all

FINALLY ON THURSDAY! thank u unknownuser. that is all

When History somewhat repeats itself
Now that we're in university, I'm pretty friggen scared about plagiarism. It's not that I plagiarize, it's just I don't know how great my paraphrase skills are.
I had to do a Psych project requiring me to make a presentation on powerpoint but not actually present it. The presentation should be 15 slides including title page, body, conclusion, and references. We were told that we'd have to do this since october... however i chose to do most of the work 2 days before the due date which was February 21st (today). My topic was on the evolutionary significance of music which i found to be a bit interesting. Well I had to or else i wouldn't have picked it. We basically had to think of a good question related to psychology and submit the question with minimum of 2 articles by january. Then we had from january to february to do the slides. However, making the slides is not the long part, it is reading and understanding all my articles that took forever. Even after reading the articles i had trouble organizing my slides. It's over now, however it was not fun. I could have done better, just like how i could of done better in my physio exam that i pretty much ran out of time and had to guess 2 answers (no time for educated guess, it was random guess).
So, due to the project, I attempted my first all-nighter. It was not all night, i stayed up to 4:45 and my body could not take it so I let myself go to sleep. Had to wake up at 9 to get to class, but decided to skip it and finish my project as staying up all-night did not accomplish everything. Eventually I had to go through all my classes, skipped my bio tutorial to finish the project. So from reading the articles to producing the slides it took around 18 hours in 2 days. It looks nice, but i'm not sure if the content is up to par.
My next all-nighter hopefully takes all night with no sleep not because i don't want to sleep but because i just want to say i stayed up all night. I found that after 3:30... productivity decreases. My main productive times are in the afternoon and from maybe 10 to 2:30.
Have to study for chem now. I would do an allnighter for chem, but 2 all-nighters in a row is not something i'd like to do before saturday.

Hacky Sack
Unknownuser... bought me a hacky sack for christmas and now i must semi-master it like the rubik's cube. However, it's not going as smooth as the rubik's cube where i just learned to do it in like a day. Hacky sack takes skill ><. I am just waiting until there's enough neuronal representation in my primary motor cortex for the foot is present so i can actually perform the skill without trying too hard. But yah, this could take a while. And when i master the hacky sack, i'll go into juggling with my hands. That could be for the summer or something.
But yah... hacky sack... -sighz-

a post about a one post
There was just ONE post last year in february??? This is very disappointing! Although not as disappointing for me coz it was my one post that provided a link for february 2007.So it was basically last year that we started declining in posts. So sad...
Most of my posts will be looking back at past years because that's what this blog is about. Reminiscing about what we did around the same time last year. I was driving last year... i'm not driving at all this year. That's not suppose to happen. I'm suppose to drive more as years go by. I could've had my G license by now. Also, reading the comments, nimalan wasn't on msn for a while. WHERE ARE YOU???
what else did i talk about... hmmm... no girlfriends... (jeez this is getting depressing), and birthday coming up in less than a month. 19th birthday... legal for drinking... although i don't plan on drinking now do I plan on drinking with underaged kids =P
I'm in university now... i'm suppose to be studying. I'm currently at the weldon library supposedly studying for psych test on thursday and a physio quiz in a few hours yet i'm here posting because posting is a good procrastination tool. Also because i'm trying to get the post count up to 600 all by myself (with a little help from unknownuser of course). I'll probably be back this weekend. Chinese new year on thursday?
Anyways i'm gonna close my laptop for now since i didn't bring my charger so it's running solely on batteries after my one hour lecture.
Thanks for reading.
Oh, and i also started and finished elfen lied. Yah... starting a few new anime series now.

Post about a non-post
Oh Unknownuser.... all these drafts that are not posted.... lol!
Yah... my titles suck.
Anyways! January 29th, this shall be the day (although i'm posting now on January 30th) that I have received my first Gi from aikido! yaaaaaaah! I thought I'd share my happiness. During classes, i'm usually the only one without a gi or the uniform we wear for training. I felt like i was the odd one out.... coz I was. I had a yellow stripe belt and yet i was all the way down the line where the beginners were. I had a white belt that was lined up in a higher rank than me (wearing a belt with regular clothes really looks... blah). So yah, maybe buying something like that will get me to be more serious about the art.
I just came back from a retreat with a christian fellowship from school. This won't be anything religious, i'm still talking about aikido (although i really shouldn't be... i feel bad). We had a snow ball fight! and all i thought during that time was "I CAN USE AIKIDO HERE!" but i didn't. I was a pacifist for the whole fight. Although aikido has sharpened my dodging skills. I dodged two snow balls that were thrown within a meter away from me and both snowballs hit the same person behind me. It was hilarious. Next time, i will be ready to fight.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi! anime! watch some of it.... =D only 50 episodes. All on veoh. don't even need to download it. Guy learns jiu jutsu, chinese kenpo, karate, muy thai, and weapons. There's one person who uses tae kwan do i believe.... no judo though. There's sumo.... haha! for like 1 episode. No aikido though, so don't worry unknownuser.... don't feel left out.

Three Years
As one can probably tell, this blog has gone on for little over 3 years now starting in december of 2004 with just a guy named drakonen verifying his own existence. The good thing about our blog early on is that we posted almost everyday so it allows me to look back on what happened exactly 3 years ago. There was no January 12th post but there was an 11th and 13th. I had the stupid music project that i did last minute. I still remember that coz it's probably the most stress i felt doing a 3 month project in maybe 2 days. I believe drakonen came over to help too. A funny thing to also see is that i was looking for a martial art that was right for me. Now I have one! dang... how we've grown. I was so energetic in my posts... now when I read my posts it has a more...non...energetic feel to it.
We still need a new background for this blog. I remember when we used to change the background like every week. I didn't photoshop for sooo very long.
I have to figure out when the next time i'm coming back to Toronto is. I know i'll be back either the weekend before my birthday or the weekend of my birthday. I don't know if i'll be back anytime before those two weekends, if so it'll probably be the weekend of february 1st. Yah it'll probably be february 1st then since it's in the middle of when I was in toronto and when i'll be back for... some reason later in feb. yay... you got to see my planning in action from one paragraph. Neways... just woke up an hour agoish. Have to plan the rest of my day. Probably watch a few movies off dc++ then start reading the berserk manga. At night i'll probably study since I've figured out that if i can study everything in 2 weeks, studying everything in little pieces every week should be easier.
I need a life... don't really have much of a social life but i should've established that during frosh week. Too late now.

My Break.
The break did go by so fast... but after it I honestly do not remember what being in school feels like anymore, waterloo seems like such a distant memory for me. Still looking forward to going back to it in four months or so? That ammount of time just seems gynormous. Hopefully i get stuff done here while i'm in toronto. Started my co op last thursday. A week already? it sure is going by fast. Working at a nuclear power plant with all these engineers is such a different experience. All these technical terms wizing by me, does make me feel that i still have things to learn.
Judo, martial arts really are a stress reliever. Have gone almost a month without doing it, and i've got to push myself to go out and look for one, except... something always comes up, stopping me from doing so.
Juno, didnt notice their similarity til now, not related at all though. This is a movie that i went to see twice at the theatres this week, my excuse is that it was with different people, the actual reason though was that the movie was really good, I wouldn't mind seeing it a few more times. The movie is about a girl and her pregnancy. Really is much better then that description, much. If a movie can be fullypacked and can get Everyone in the theatre laughing at some point And when a good Half of the portion of the theatre was filled with older folk that were laughing their asses off too, then it must be doing something right. Just the main character alone is enough to make someone go see the movie, and the soundtrack... what soundtrack? you'll see...
what else... got to be up by 6:30 tommorow for work and its... 1:12 already... so the else will have to wait.

New Post
I believe this is my first post of 2008. Let's take a look back at the times when all of us posted something except for maybe m&m, but still he posted a bit. Now, let us fast forward to today when only two out of the four people post even if it's just a bit. By this time next year, there will only be one person posting. This is not an independent blog. I already have an independent blog. This is a blog where 4 people participate in such activities as sharing one's story even if it's only a story about their day.
I have shared my disappointments many times. Now unknownuser has experienced the same disappointment. Feel my pain of coming to a site where nothing is updated. No new stories.... You have either done nothing during the break and have nothing to share, or you're just not kool enough to post in a blog that you've helped create.
Aikido is still fun. Still learning new techniques that I have yet to master. My dual with jonathan never happened, but i did collect 70+ stars in Super Mario Galaxy. Watched two movies one day after another, and stayed home a lot catching up on tv. I learned how to solve the rubik's cube, started to learn how to juggle, and ate a lot of chocolate. Caught up on my chinese food and home cooked meals, and also watched a lot of youtube stuff containing aikido and needle throwing. Even I found two possible aikido centres in Toronto that I might go to during the summer... although it would take money so i need to get a job first. All in all it was a great holiday. Just lining up at best buy at 6 in the morning is an accomplishment. That line was longer than abercrombie and fitch for it went all around the parking lot (I do not claim that as a fact as I didn't really get to see the abercrombie and fitch line).
Now I'm back in res at western. Got over my need to play the guitar and the need for dc+. Still noticing that martial arts just brightens your day... all this new self-confidence. Feels good... but if i sleep it'll go away.
I do not think on my posts... I simply type. I think my new paragraphs aren't really paragraphs... the breaks are just the breaks I have when i lose my concentration and start daydreaming or something. Anyways, this post could go on forever so I'll post again later. Happy New Year.

Slowly making it to 600
We should've reached 600 posts by now but some people choose not to write anything here. The creator of this blog hasn't legitimately written in this blog for over a period of many...many....many.... months. This is very discouraging and disappointing at the same time. What's more disappointing is that he'll most likely not read this post at all until maybe next year? I can technically bash him all I want and he won't know a thing until next year... but i would've gone back to university by then therefore missing his chance to kill me personally unless he drives down to london, kills me, brings my corpse over to waterloo and dumps it in some random guy's room.
I'm jk drakonen, don't kill me
Anyways, that wasn't the point.
I was a bit late for my exam today. Had a 9:00am physiology exam... woke up 8:55am... Let's just say it was not a pleasant experience. On the other hand, i did get my first dose of exercise running to the exam room... found out i wasn't really fit... well didn't find out, basically reminded me that I suck at cardio.

The calm before the storm, no wait the tsunami, no i think it'll actually be the end of the world
exams, we all hate it but we all have it. They're worth so much that, people who probably skipped lectures all year and wasted their life studying probably will do well on it, and get a better mark than those who showed up. What if they're harder then hard and everybody fails, and even midterms couldn't save them, haha pwned. So i enter the exam arena, wishing i had probably entered it sooner, exams start in three days, and with no classes, i'll have no choice but to study. and with the librarys open 24 hours, the last time i left it at 2... it was full. i'll have to go find some new dark corner or closet to study as the libary will be guaranteed to be full all the time, and not only full but loud. but thats ok, i just got new headphones, a small reward which i'll owe myself back for when i'm on co op next term. $100 shure earbuds, all because my roomate got the $200 ones. There probably are better ways i could have spent that money but they're jsut so... much better than the ipod ones... which probably weren't that good to begin with but they still had the w factor... one republic has their album out, but they only have two new singles? i think? just read the titles and listened to their new ones. and heroes has their season finale today.. which wont make sense because the series was cut short because of the writers strike
writers strike sucks
writers strike sucks
pdeng sucks, which is my course which i'll still have to take over my co op term, so i'll never ever be free from school
writers strike sucks
judo is cool
i should probably do more judo when i get back to toronto, i'll see
writers strike and pdeng sucks
jumper looks cool, i remember reading that book when i was so young, and researching that movie, told me that there was actually a sequel to that book, which i'll have to read, along with some newspapers when i get back to toronto. Haven't read a newspaper or flipped to the news channel in so long. Canada may now possibly be in a war or someone finally found bin laden or something and i wouldn't know.
music is too cool
dc++ is too cool
EXAMS ARE NOT COOL.

Paintballin
What's with all the drafts that are unpublished/duplicates?
Anyways, quick update.
Getting ready for finals. I haven't been studying as much as I want to or had hoped to do. I need to focus and concentrate but daydreaming is so fun.
Attempting to decorate room with Christmas lights... looks pretty. I've only decorated the room with my roomate's lights though so I need... no... want to buy some more lights and decorate my part of the room (majority of the decoration is on his side).
Still up to date with scrubs, grey's, heroes, and lost. Started the first episode of House yesterday. Don't plan on continuing until exams are over. I'll probably download most of the episodes off DC++ during exams but not watch them and save them over the christmas holidays. If i remember.
Went paintballing today. First paintball experience. It was fun but i wish I got shot at more on my arms and legs so i have bruises to prove i went paintballing. I have a red mark on my left arm from a shot... but it's not bruising. I'm happy, i shot 3 people my first time playing. It's not great, but i'm satisfied. Wrecked my clothes though... must wash. I have like 3 loads of clothes left unwashed coz i don't have the time or patience to wash clothes right now.

A PROfessional haircut??? what???
Won't post much
Got my first professional haircut since like 3 years ago? Everything looks great except the back... which i'm gonna have to fix in 2 weeks when i go back to toronto.
Don't know where I left off on my series update last time but all caught up on scrubs, g.a., and heroes, now on second season of lost.

Series Update No.1
Hey people, me once again
Got tired of waiting for someone to post so I decided to post...again.
Yah... I'm expecting a lot more updates on how I'm doing with my shows so i took the liberty of already starting to number my updates.
Ok, so i'm still waiting for the 7th season of Scrubs to air.
I've caught up on my Grey's Anatomy so I'm waiting for Season 4 Episode 4
I decided to go against watching Lost and started watching Heroes and I'm on Season 1 episode 5 for that one. So eventually Unknownuser... I will catch up and defeat you! Jk...
Running out of space on my computer. Forgot to bring my dvd's to burn.
I just re-read my last post. Did i really say "embark"? Must not post at night..

My journey
Ok, I'm probably the only guy who likes to blog or has the time to post something. Maybe it's because I always find myself thinking and reflecting back on what has happened over the past couple of days.
Few quick updates, I'm posting this one on my real bed back in toronto. yay! Actually pretty nice to post something while lying down on my bed.
Also finished 6 seasons of scrubs in little over one month. Good thing about scrubs is that it's just 20 minutes long so most of it is quality and not quantity. It also has a certain sense of humour that I love. Love the show so much it's actually my wallpaper for my laptop. Shows haven't made my wallpaper since Prince of Tennis, and that's anime.
So, now i'm starting up on Grey's Anatomy, on episode 7 of the first season. Not used to the 40ish minutes of showtime, I find that it's sometimes very draggy and although it has some sort of humour in it, it doesn't possess the scrubs humor (had to start typing humor without the "u" since we're canadian coz the red underlines are annoying). Next in line is Lost probably, then Heroes. Maybe heroes then lost coz i started heroes already, it will depend. With DC++ anything is possible.
So let's embark on a short version of my trip back to toronto. Got up at 8ish which is pretty good time for my 8:30 class (the class i've been late to at least twice). For those classes i don't usually have enough time to eat breakfast so i skipped breakfast that day as well. After class I went to buy a western t-shirt so i can wear it in toronto... my mom says i have too many dull coloured shirts so I gave it to my dad. It was also x-large only coz it was the smallest size i could find in that style.
I was suppose to get on the 11 o'clock greyhound bus, but I waited at the wrong place. The first time i came back to toronto, i waited at a particular place on campus and it picked us up and went directly to toronto. This time, it didn't so i waited for 45 minutes looking stupid. Went to the infosource to find out what happened to my greyhound bus. Person told me i had to actually take a regular bus down to the greyhound station and that there'd be a greyhound bus leaving at 12 (which was at that time 45 minutes away). So, carrying my 100 pounds of stuff, i walked back, took a bus down to the greyhound station while seriously panicking (my hands were shaking) coz i didn't wanna miss the bus. Got there 4 minutes before 12. Got on the bus, and the stupid greyhound didn't start leaving until like 12:30.
So, eventually, got to Toronto after attempting to watch Garden State on my laptop, but got dizzy 3/4 of the way so i tried sleeping. Once in toronto, got off and looked around for lunch while texting nimalan not knowing i'd have to pay 15cents per text. walked a bit around Eaton centre trying to decide on lunch as it was around 3 and i skipped breakfast and basically lunch. Decided to go with good ol' street hotdogs. Got suckered into donating 2 dollars on the way there. Got tired of carrying my 100 pounds of stuff for over an hour (my bag also began to rip) so I went home also trying to buy tokens but failed. The rest i'll leave the others to post if they ever choose to not be as lazy as i am.
Woke up this morning at like 5am coz i needed to go to the washroom and brush my teeth (fell asleep watching Garden State...) and i thought i was in my res room. I was like "shoot, forgot my room key... wait... this place looks different... when did we get 2 floors? Oh wait... i'm at home". Neways, should sleep now and put the hamster bak in the cage. Post again later.

Time to move
I don't remember if I've posted about this yet, if i have oh well. But during the end of August i just started thinking about how everything was ending. Had my last day of high school, graduation, last day at work, last day of a lot of stuff. Now it's the start of something and I've forgotten the importance of the first impression. Just looking back these past few weeks I can see that i could've done something but didn't, or did something when i shouldn't have done it. Hopefully I'll still have my chance at the first of something so I don't screw that up. Trying to meet new people but i'm still scared of approaching people and initiating that first conversation. Stupid shyness... and cowardess... what? I admit it, i'm a wuss. AND WHAT? Realized the first week was very crucial 'coz that's what makes you who you are. If you're in your room doing nothing, people won't know who you are and will start hanging out with those they do know. I tried talking to others but it's just so awkward. I don't know what to say... living on the same res and floor already eliminates like two questions "where do u live? what floor?"
Neways, I finally joined a martial arts class. AIKIDO! yay! It was the cheapest one too out of everything else... which i'm worried about but it doesn't matter. Meeting every wednesdays and Sundays. I had my first class today and it was pretty OK. My only form of exercise now that i don't have volleyball to fall back on.... how i want to play volleyball... so bad.
Guess I've procrastinated enough. OH yah, was late for the same class twice this month. Bad start.... dumb 8:30am classes. Need to start sleeping earlier but SCRUBS!!! I am now on Season 5 coz i just finished season 4 today.
Also went shopping and bought like a 30ish dollar...sweater? It's on my msn display picture, pretty happy with my purchase but i wanted t-shirts... oh well. Yah, compared to everyone else in my suite, i probably have the least amount of clothes. Which isn't bad, but i would like more variety... better than drakonen at least haaha.... unless he went on a shopping spree and bought a tonne of clothes.
OK NOW i've procrastinated enough. Post again later. Oh yah, bought 2 posters for my room too. 18 dollars before tax... yay... but pretty expensive. Again, happy with it... but my money is dying...

sick people!
Yay! i'm still sick... it's been over a week since i was sick so whatever. I just came back from my bio tutorial... i'm sad that i didn't get the hot T.A. that i hear people talking about. It's alright though, 1.5 hours of tutorial instead of the whole 3 hours that was alloted. My laptop almost ran out of batteries too during psych so i didn't use my laptop for the tutorial which is fine coz it's not necessary.
I wanna eat snacks but i'm pretty broke. Not broke broke, but broke enough that i've pretty maxed out the max withdrawl amounts from both my banks. I can only use my debit card twice a month... and i believe i used my debit card the second time buying my mini sd card for my new phone with drakonen from his cousin... i could've used that second withdrawl for 100 but instead i settled for 20ish dollars. Not complaining.... just... wondering if i could've maximized that second chance.
At my res right now coz i'm tired. Thursday is my most annoying..est day ever with 7 hours of class time on my schedule... if the tutorials were actually 3 hours. Booo to wednesday and thursdays for me. Tomorrow i only have one class so i'm happy today is over. So...very happy. Since i just came back i was sweating coz it's hot outside and coming into a room that always has A/C on is nice the first 5 seconds... not so nice the next few minutes coz now i'm pretty cold. Sudden change in temperature has made my stomach start aching. Feel like taking a nap... but don't want to waste precious day light...
Oh, hopefully no stranger knows where i live, but my wireless is unprotected so u can just try going near my house and see if you can get a signal. However, if my dad finds a strange person logged onto the wireless he'll kick u out lol! But that won't happen that much... only if the internet starts going slow.

Killing time
I'm currently sitting around at campus, in a large lounging area on a single leather couch just having finished organizing my note for chemistry tomorrow. Class ended at 12, and now I'm just sitting around doing nothing. I still have roughly an hour to go before a bio tutorial which I'm still not sure if i even want to go to.... its just that much of a pain in the ass. I only have one class tomorrow at from 12-1, and i have all my notes set up with OneNote, no more killing trees for me... well... except for calculus
Its nice having a notebook, it lets me surf the web or watch movies... I wonder if I'm addicted to the internet.... i wonder if I'll end up addicted to coffee.... Its weird, I've made friends with a lot of people, probably more then anyone else from satec... and yet I'm stuck lounging alone with just me and my laptop... there is reading that i can do, but I've caught the cold thats been slowly making its round throughout my biology lecture and I don't feel like sitting in one place and just reading...
damn I'm bored..... and lazy.... and hungry...

Start of something new
Well, now that we've all gone out separate ways, it more imperative that we stay in touch by blogging out daily mishaps. I finally have a laptop, and now that I think I've managed to get wi-fi access at school, I might as well blog from school... since thats what everyone else seems to be doing. The only problem with having a laptop is still being tethered to a wall, or in my case, a modem, seeing how I'll have to wait till around Friday to get a wireless modem from my cousin (free stuff always comes with a catch). In the meantime, maybe Gary can be generous enough to give me his wireless password so that I can steal.... I mean borrow, his unused bandwidth from his home. Wouldn't that be a kind and generous act? No?.... I didn't think so either.... I'll post more on university life from university...
Brief Report
Hey, me again, just a brief report on how school is.
Friday, woke up late coz alarm clock decided not to work so i woke up 10 minutes before class started. Generally takes 5-10 minutes to walk to class and you want to be there 5-10 minutes before class starts. So yah.
Also went back to toronto for like 1.5 days haha. Got a new cellphone yay.
Today, trying out for polevault... realized this was a university and the minimum requirement height that i have to get over is 1 m higher than my personal best. Doing that is like trying to learn how to play a full song on the guitar in one day. Possible if you're super gifted, but not that possible if it took me a year to improve 20cm or maybe 40. I don't know if it's in cm or inches or whtever haha. Actually.. pretty sure it's not metric. So now that i pretty much know i won't make it, I'll just go check it out tomorrow, see what happens. In the meantime i'm trying to learn how to do handstands lol! and might join the aikdo club. 20 dollars per term... not bad compared to the others. Should try some more handstands then go sleep. bye

Summer Oveeeeeeeeeeeeeer
So, Summer is finally over and we're all in university. At least i went to the zoo by myself for free yay! You guys suck!
Had 4/5 courses so far. I'll have my chem class on monday. I need to buy my books... but don't really know how i'm going to pay for it haha.
Western is pretty nice. Doing a LOT of walking though, my furthest class is probably a 20 minute walk away... probably, didn't really time it. Don't really know what to blog about. I brought my laptop with me for my first 3 classes and i didn't even use it. I used it today for my one class lol. It's actually pretty handy since i type faster than i write. Neways, my res number is 519 850 2914 ext.14793. Don't have a cell number yet.
I'll blog later

time tim ti t
times getting shorter, wow that was lame. But hey dont blame me, its 2:30 am
wow theres like 3 days left before i move to waterloo. i cant imagine not being in t.o, or the tons of people that i'll never see again. 18 years is a long time in one place, and in a few days i'll spend 5 years in another.
we started off this blog, in what, gr 9, gr 10 being in different high schools except for two of us, and now we're off to different universities except for two of us... weird how that happened again
this is a good bye post that really isnt, maybe we'll still be posting again in the future, we shall see
and lastly heres a funny uni thing that a friend sent to me, read it all, if youre in uni you'll get it.
Carleton University: There's a 95% chance you know absolutely no one at
Carleton, and if you do, they're probably your brother's best friend's
girlfriend's cousin who you don't really care about anyway. I bet all
you've ever been told about Carleton is "Don't go there!" Carleton is in
Ottawa (you were thinking Hamilton am i right?) and so its campus social
life consists of dull keg parties (they exist!) and AA meetings. For them
Toronto is intimidating and Quebec exponentially cooler, so they get their
jollies by flouting their Ottawness in front of all other Canadians. But
being from Carleton ain't all that bad. Sure they'll never wear their Univ
sweater in front of Waterloo kids, and yes sadly enough their most famous
alumni is nobody's favorite and strangely
regarded-as-unsuccessful-though-he-technically-is-succesful-actor/
washed-up-comedian Dan Acroyd. But
>hey Carleton kids get higher GPA's than those who go to actual
universitys. What's that mean? That means these bums will get your seats in
all the grad schools!
>
>Lakehead University: Quick fact: 99% of the general populus assumes that
Lakehead must be in somewhere called Lakehead. WRONG! It's in Thunder Bay.
Go figure. It's new, it's widely advertised on the TTC and its name is the
model for meaningless unappealing university names. But hey at least its
not York! Lakehead is the college of universities. It shouldn't even be on
this list because everyone who goes to Lakehead is really just planning on
transferring once they get their ass in gear and pull those marks up. Not
much is known of this particular location and so we shall refrain from
mocking it too much due to insufficient research. Well that and apathy
which btw there is a lot of on campus. However this much shall be
>said. Lakehead can be a place for new beginnings and strangely enough this
is one campus where the people actually get along.
>
>Laurentian University: Farmers. The whole lot of you! Anyone who claims
that Sudbury is the place to be is in need of professional help. If you're
not studying the wide world of mining you really should not go here. And i
mean REALLY. You people are the definition of small town folk. But i'll bet
ya two sheep and a bushel of hay that ya'll are friendly as hell and we all
know that people skills account for 45% of moving up that corporate ladder.
Or in your case, someday those skills will get Betty Sue to hold on to that
shaky wooden ladder for ya when you're trying to keep those dang blasted
pigeons from nesting in your barn.
>
>McMaster University: Located in Dullsville aka Hamilton, you people have
absolutely no social life outside of your campus.
>Your world consists of shades of grey (much like UTSC) yet you have a
reputation for being the select few who can mix academic and creative
intelligence (much like York - gasp- i've actually said something good
about York!). You pretend to be part of Toronto when in reality you weep
every night because Torontonians regard you as lesser (and so snub you)
while the rest of Canada regards you as Torontonian (and so hates you).
Your grad schools have a great reputation and you can hold your heads high
in the company of people from all sorts of universities simply because your
system is so different that no one can really prove that underlying
suspicion that secretly you guys are getting away with having easier
courses.
>
>Ryerson University: If you know someone who goes to Ryerson you've
probably heard the phrase "But it IS a real university!" one too many
times. Ok Ok we get it. Its a
>university not a college. Give it a rest already! These people have a
knack for complaining. Well who can blame them when one in every three
Ryersonites you know is probably some sort of engineer or accountant. Those
guys actually do have a reason to b!tch. The rest of you should just admit
that in all other respects its still a college! You guys are St. George's
little brother. You look up to them and want to be as cool as them but you
know you never will be. What you suckers don't know is that your courses
actually are on par with those of St. George. Ryerson is the true scammer
of all the universities. How so? When you apply to Ryerson your odds of
acceptance are pretty damn high. But in second year your drop out rate is
phenomenal. Class sizes are usually reduced by more than 60%. This
university is smart. They get your money and then boot your ass out of
there. You guys get the
>workload of the 'real' universities but the reputation of a college. Hmm
on second thought maybe your whining is actually well deserved venting for
the many frustrations caused by your sucky sucky situation.
>
>Queens University: Snobs. All of you. Nasty nasty snobs! Your snobbishness
is solely a result of the fact that you know your school is known on the
international scale, you know that people respect the name of Queens and
that you must be a pretty good all rounder to have gotten in. Hell even
Anne of Green Gables wanted to go here! Lets face it you guys are mostly
rich, white kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Even if you're
not white, your individual style is soon assimilated into the mass market
style of gino's/gina's. Right now Von Dutch is big and so are those trucker
hats and farmer plaid shirts. You have all them don't you? You do know how
to party it up.
>we must admit and for the most part you guys are ignorant of the fact that
the rest of us consider you snobs simply because we're so envious of the
fact that you actually get to go to Queens! Oh yeh and once you get out of
there the rest of us will STILL not want to talk to you!
>
>Brock university (The following is the original that was too good to be
messed with): Brock students cannot only walk and talk, they can grow beer
guts too. your friend will have seemed to have jacked their level of
tolerance, where their metabolism has slowed signifigantly. They talk in
"jock lingo" and seem to have contracted several STD's. They will
compensate for not having a football team by talking about their
sensational rowing team whoo freakin hoo. They may have contracted a third
eye also from living in residences bulit on top of a garbage dump.
>
>UofT Erindale: What the hell? Oh you mean
>the sauga campus? You have the reputation of prestigious UofT, in a
beautiful scenic setting and you get to avoid the crazy commutes of
downtowners and the ghetto styles of UTSC. Oh yeh and a lot of you are
brown. Power to you! This campus is friendly, academically focused and
respected. You guys are the 'nice friend' that no one really wants to pick
on yet no one really bothers getting to know too well. You're not too funny
or interesting either. You do your thing and thats that. Carry on Sauga
peeps carry on.
>
>UofT Scarborough: It's not a university. It's highschool in disguise. With
an emphasis on the crazy and exciting dating scene. (Sorry to rub it in
Ryerson but hey things will pick up for you guys eventually). Except maybe
uglier. Strange but true fact: The architectural style of UTSC is Brutalist
Industrialist. Translation? Its brutally ugly. The garden sculptures look
>like torture devices, and the school resembles a converted prison. You can
tell that U of T gave this place the leftovers of the other campuses. Hell
in some spots you guys have cubicles in former closets! UTSC is notorious
for its ghetto reputation but is a school that truly has flavour. Its
populus is perhaps the single most multicultural campus of them all
(although once again lots of brown ppl here too). And for the most part
they all get along regardless of ethnicities. This may be the one
university where assimilation is virtually unheard of. The down side?
Highschool cliquishness thrives here and after a while seeing ENYCE and
SEAN JOHN every two seconds starts to wear a little thin. For gods sake ppl
your 21 pull up your damn pants! Oh yeh and those cubicles seem to sustain

>York University: Saving the best for last. Where do we begin? If you can
hold a fork you can go to york. York Shmork. You all know the sayings, you
bought the T-shirts. York is the scapegoat for us all. Even Brock probably
makes fun of York (although you losers really shouldn't). A significant
part of the univ going ppl you know go here. York has a
>brilliant business program, and is probably THE BEST university for a
career in arts. But no one will ever take it seriously. Why? Many reasons.
Many many reasons. Firstly York offered every kid at UofT, Waterloo and Mc
Master 1000's + a car +human sacrifices in an attempt to sway their
decision. And it STILL didn't work! At York every single day is fashion
friday. The biggest fixture on campus is not the library, not a cultural
center, and no not even the athlethics center. No the biggest fixture at
york is the york pseudo mall. Are you ferreal?? It's supposed to be a
UNIVERSITY. Shop when you get home! Or at least on the weekend! York's
focus isn't on keeping up with academics, its on keeping up with that
latest fashion trend. The girls here are gorgeous, the bling blinding and
if I see another $1000 Louis Vuitton purse in my face I will SCREAM.York is
that kid who always got picked
>on, by the cumulative group of every single other university in Canada.
Face it Yorkers, you guys may be alright but the rest of us bond over
picking on your sorry asses. So it ain't gonna stop anytime soon.
wow theres like 3 days left before i move to waterloo. i cant imagine not being in t.o, or the tons of people that i'll never see again.
Sure they'll never wear their Univ
sweater in front of Waterloo kids, and yes sadly enough their most famous
alumni is nobody's favorite and strangely
regarded-as-unsuccessful
washed-up-comedian Dan Acroyd. But
>hey Carleton kids get higher GPA's than those who go to actual
universitys.
>
>
>
>
>
>

>
Oh yeh and those cubicles seem to sustain
a secret graffiti dialogue culture that really should be studied. What the

Last few weeks
Ok, this is just dumb. Why am i the only one who's posting? I'm so upset at this i'm not even gonna do anything to my font.
Anyways, submitted my 2 weeks resignation notice to my manager. It was scary stuff, but it was all good.
Finally finished Resident Evil 4, although Unknownuser beat me to it. So now basically going through the whole game again with all the weapons i had last round. Everything is so much easier. I went through at least our weeks worth of playing in 1-2 hours coz basically know where all the enemies are and they're all one shot kills if aimed at the head properly. Also trying the other new missions like the ada assignment (don't know if that's the actual name... forgot it) and the mercenaries.
Today, woke up at 9:30 so i could go to the zoo with my sister since she works there. Got in for free, yay! Took me 4 hours to walk around the whole place alone and my walking speed when by myself is pretty fast. So, if I were to ever be with someone at the zoo, it may take maybe 5 hours if not more walking thorugh the whole thing. Of course, i didn't go everywhere, like all the pavillions or whtever. It would be too confusing to walk through all of them coz it's like a maze in there. So i walked from 11:00 to 3:00? I'd post some pictures but it's too confusing to post pictures. Maybe i'll post 'em up on facebook... if i'm not lazy. Doubt anybody wants to see it since it doesn't have any pictures of me in it =D haha jkz. I'm not gonna look like a loser when i'm already walking around alone holding up a camera taking a pictures of myself.
After the zoo, unknownuser calls me up and we are then off to empire theatres where we watched rush hour 3. So basically my whole day was free except for my pizza that i bought at the zoo and the two drinks i bought after the movie. Hahaha... should probably bring back some swiss chalet stuff for u guys. Would've stayed for Harry Potter 5 too but i didn't wanna miss highschool musical 2 on family haha!!! yes, i still haven't watched HP5. Anyways, yah, thanks mr.unknownuser for the free movie and popcorn... i feel bad now.
Oh yah, also spent like half an hour smelling some men's fragrances coz i had the urge to try it at least once. $60 for fancy deoderant, yay. haha. It's not bad through... still trying it out to see what the best method of applying the fancy deoderant (yes, i'm just gonna call it that now) is so it's not too overpowering that it sickens people, but not too unnoticable that it's just a waste of a spray. I was bored that day... i have a job... temptations come and go. blah blah blah. I'm the only one posting here anyways.

Summer almost at an end???
So the summer is beginning to end... once it touches August.
We still need to accomplish a lot of things while we're all still here in Toronto... or basically 2 of us are still in Toronto. I still want to go to the zoo! I'm going with or without you! Just better with people than by myself... haha.
Neways... this was basically a wasteful post. Just wanted to test out putting random songs on the blog. There's Linkin Park's "What I've Done" on the bottom of this page... or there should be. And I'll just add another song in the post... random song... just to test things out.

WII
wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
So, this week has been pretty interesting. Wednesday, spent the morning watching some more movies... i just forget which one. To my surprise, my dad comes home after shopping with my mom and there he holds a Nintendo Wii box in his hands and i'm just like... "WHOE!" so yah, I have a wii now. My first real game console unless u count the very old nintendo which i think my dad threw out (if u search 'old school nintendo' on google, it's the one in brownish red'). I'm trying very hard not to get too addicted to it coz many bad things happen when one gets addicted to something. May need to learn how to download and burn games... hahaha. My right arm actually hurt the day after from playing... using muscles i never really used. Amazing. Funny how the first people i told about the wii was daniel and jonathan and how nimalan was the first friend to play it.
Anyways, enough about that. Thursday me and the rest of my family went to Niagara Falls for a vacation. It was fun, took a lot of pictures, i'd post them but it takes too long and it's annoying to upload everything. May or may not put it up on facebook, haha. Came back yesterday coz it was a one night stay. It was somewhat relaxing if you take all the walking out... but walking was kool.

A good experience
Yay... 3 posts in a row.
So i finished watching Dragonball GT a few days ago... it was kinda sad coz we've been following goku's adventure since he was a lil' kid to the point where he's a great great grandfather. wish there was something more after.
So today... was interesting. started off with me doing nothing and turned into a very hectic day. Basically, woke up, was too late to go to school to check on how i did for my exams. Started watching American Pie 2 while eating lunch when Nim calls and tells me about a one dollar milkshake. That led to Nimalan buying lunch then over to his house supposedly watching a movie but ending up watching 1.7 episodes of Heroes.
After, I had plans to hang out with some of my church friends from 5 to about 11. Went to church, drove my pastor's car which was kool! haha... not just the driving, but the fact that he trusted me with his car...and people in it. So drove to the TnT plaza to get something to eat for dinner. Ate. Then we headed off downtown for a street walk.
My pastor basically knew a guy who knew the downtown streets pretty well coz he'd experienced that type of life before. To make things easier, his name was Richard.
So what he did was he first sat with us at a park telling us a general overview of how life is like surviving downtown while homeless and it opened my eyes a lot. Just the dangers that are present in all areas of downtown. We all walk around probably around the Eaton Centre not knowing that nearby there are hookers, prostitutes, male prostitutes hanging around selling their bodies to people who could be our parent's colleagues or our neighbours. We may know that they're there, but we may not always remember or be aware of it and merely brush it off. What we don't see can't hurt us. Richard took us around the gay community, where the boy hookers were and I say boy coz they are usually aged around 14-17. any older and ur considered old. We had to walk around and it was a weird experience for the guys especially coz u feel and sometimes see that you're being checked out. You have guys staring at you and it just puts one into the shoes of a female in the heterosexual world. Guys hanging around checking out girls.
The night was just an experience that you had to be there for and not really hear about.
Unfortunately we just had the light shortened "tour". Regular walks are about 5 hours long. We had... maybe four. It was fun nonetheless. There are also some where you actually have to stay over night with nothing but a toothbrush and the change in your pocket. You have to panhandle and go to the salvation army so you get to experience what it's like being homeless. You really have to swollow your pride and dignity. I couldn't even summon the courage to ask for a sandwich from a truck that gave sandwiches to homeless people for free. I was suppose to ask what organization they came from but i chickened out. I wouldn't survive on the streets for 2 days. It honestly opened my eyes to a world that we visit maybe every few weeks. Giving change to panhandlers isn't always a good thing. We have to think about what our actions are doing for them. An example that richard gave us was giving a homeless person 1000 dollars. They could go to a club and spend most of it on alcohol to celebrate and die from it. Giving too much can kill them. Weird, but true. People that we pass on the streets could be struggling to not just get into university or find a good job, but to survive. Finding smart sleeping locations that help protect them from other panhandlers, gangs, or just any stranger raping them or taking all their stuff. Anyways, i'm rambling. I loved today.

No more exams?
So... pretty much done highschool. Last exam was finished today. I'm actually at daniel's house right now... don't know why, i just am.
So I've been busy with watching movies and anime. So far, i watched 40 year-old-virgin, eurotrip, and ice age 2. The rest of the week i am and have been busy with catching up with Dragonball GT coz I'm the only one who haven't watched the whole thing yet. Watching maybe 10 to 20 episodes per day. Right now i'm at the part where they face the evil eternal dragons. It's keeping me pretty busy. So sad...
Anyways, we need to get together to plan what we're gonna do for the rest of the summer. ZOO!!!! and the ROM... maybe. Or we can save money and take a trip across seas =D yay. Go europe... lalala. Ok, don't know what else to say. May or may not post again later.

Recap
Wow... already June. Our high school years are closing... don't know why everyone is looking forward to summer break and university. It's like hoping to get older so you have more responsibilities while not being able to go back. You can always go forward, can't always go to the past. Trying my best to enjoy the last 2 weeks of school... eventhough it's filled with exams... well not filled since i have technically 3 exams but really I have 2 because the exam for english was really the essay that i handed in yesterday so the english exam will be made up of students coming in and writing creatively non-stop for an hour and a halfish. Can't really study for that... I wish the chem exam was last since it's really the only crazy course i have to study the whole entire semester of. My sociology class exam is just the last unit that we we taught. So yah, chem exam tomorrow... doing my cheat sheet now, then going over everything after i'm finished my study sheet with playing volleyball somewhere in there... maybe.
The past 2 weeks were amazing though... filled with extreme good and extreme bad. I had Prom, went to an awesome concert, and participated in my last coffeehouse for my youth fellowship. In between I had to finish a cumulative assignment, have a very hard chem quiz, finish maybe two english essays and two media packages, and have a hard english test. It was a balanced week...
anyways... i should finish up my study sheet and go on to actually studying. We still have to accomplish a lot of stuff during the summer break though before we all leave to our seperate respective universities where Nim and I have traded places in the distance of schools from our homes. Not the actual travel to class... but from our home home to ... ah forget it.
