mmm… continuing on my streak of uninteresting titles

So instead of posting about my week I’ll concentrate more on today. This week has just been about bridletowne (daycamp) stuff such as workshops for lesson planning and music for kids, Jess being sick, and me doing a whole lot of nothing but chillin. Though we finally did get together for a night of movie-fail (except drakonen) + pool + kbbq. I’m sad I didn’t take pictures eventhough i brought my camera (though I’m sure drakonen is happy about that).

Today, basically went with Jess to pick up her guitar from twelfth fret. Her guitar sounded very nice indeed… though I still love my own guitar… just… ok i don’t wanna talk about this anymore. Also saw creepy motion sensor kid doll…toys??? it was awesome… haha

Most of my day was spent doing daycamp stuff. There was a Family Fair running at a nearby school (to bridletowne park church at warden and finch) and he daycamp staff “volunteered” there to meet the kids who may be coming to the camp this summer. Day started around 3 (chilled with the directors a bit as i was early =P) and ended around 9? It actually went by pretty fast. I was in charge of this… soccer… kick… station where we set up hula hoops inside a goal post and the kids just had to kick it in. There was on for gr.3’s and under which I manned, and another for older kids which was harder. Lots of kids came and it seemed like it would never end. My volunteers came and left randomly >.< so at times i manned the station alone which was brutal.

It was a lot of fun though. There was a cotton candy machine and a dunk tank. It was nice to see a lot of kids out with their parents. There was even a “bus race” where the kids in each grade made a card board vehicle and decorated it and they had to race them as a team. I didn’t actually see the race as I was distracted by the dunk tank, but the designs looked so nice. It was also sweet to be in an elementary school again… it just has a certain atmosphere to it that just makes you all warm inside haha.

Ended the day with watching dawn of the dead with Jess at my place, getting bubble tea, then me driving my sister and her friends home from prom. It was a nice full day =) and I enjoyed it all.

Have a wedding to go to tomorrow. Should sleep now. Bye.
