some more points:
lack of anime-ness
am i in the right country? the only pieces of anime that i've seen in the entire trip have been one section of gundam models (which you probably could find in any chinese store in toronto) and a very few number of random posters with anime on them, not a clue what they are trying to say... Such a sad day for my anime expectations.
Vending machines
positioned every block or so are vending machines that sell all kinds of japanese drinks... everything from juice to alchol (dont worry havent bought any of them yet...)... thats right and they cost about 1.20 which is probably pretty expensive for the size they give you which is smaller than its equivalent here... still they all also have a
"Extendable Straw"
a straw which doubles in size when fully extended.
