returned yesterday afternoon after a 3 day long music camp. Still wishing it could have been longer, it was that fun.
Starting backwards:
>Return back to school on friday right before last period... but then look i have a test which i havent studied for and which was already supposed to be very hard... definetly not going.
>Bus ride back: began with 99 bottles of beer on the wall, ended 5 mins later when some gr 12 or 13 got annoyed and threatened to spit on them if they didnt stop singing, well they didnt and got spat on; teachers and bus driver were in their own little world. Then the same person tried spitting out the window while the bus was moving, and saw how it hit the window two rows back. so he tells the people sitting there to open it "for better air circulation", and they being stupid for not forseeing what he was doing in the first place opened it. and got spat on as the spit flew out the window and went straight through theres... very nasty story, but since he was a much bigger person they did nothing.
>last minute before leaving, said good bye to everyone who wasnt on our bus, the girls, even though we would be seeing them an hour later
>pizza lunch in the lounge, hey we didnt have to sit at tables
>packing which didnt take long because there was only so much that you could have for 3 days
>our performance, which wasnt that long... (two pieces with the tyrell kids, one piece by ourselves)
>8:00 breakfast, another half awake meal (again i'm not a morning person) once again being bothered by the flys that were everywhere. (people were killing them with spoons, dont know how but they did) was late though.
>waking up at 7 because we had to clean up the room. sore all over
>sleeping at 4
>got back to our rooms at twelve, *sneaked into another room where they were talking on their walkie talkies to whoever else had one around the camp and holding *missions to the girls cabin, *and supposed talks about someone ordering pizza in the middle of the night, watched some dave chappelle on a dvd player someone brought, then went into another room where they had an xbox and stayed til 4.
edit: posted it early so i didnt lose what i typed if it somehow got deleted
>a bonfire for the gr 11s and 12s... alot of eyes burning from the smoke from the fire, trips back to the room to get jackets because it was cold, people telling me my shirt smelt like fabreeze even though we dont have it in our house. marshmallows that were already melted and was one big clump in the bag, singing with people playing the many guitars they brought to camp.
>coke number 3 of the day
>a latin dance, horrible dancer, steped on alot of peoples feet, the room was tiny and you couldn't move anywhere without bumping into someone else. very tiring. then ended with a slow song and ymca.
>some video for the gr 12s who were graduating, alot of them crying while making speeches
>talent show, alot of guitars... it was good in the beginning but somehow the 1 1/2 hours felt very long...
>performance by the teachers making the above seem even longer because of sitting still for so long
>dinner, jello like gravy on roast beef... was late though
>coke number 2
>the day was music time, a latin dance class, aworld drumming class, tutoring the tyrell kids class, hiding in a room watching the chapelle show during the electives which werent that interesting
>lunch was something cant remember, wasnt late though
>the day continued
>coke number 1
>breakfast was more food, alot of flies, and again was late though
>woke up at 7:30am sore in my legs
>slept at 1am
>dance/movie ( or hockey for the first part) so watched hocky, then went to the dance, then went back to the movie, then went back...
>capture the flag, with tyrrell kids, spanning the entire camp. the only difference is first you have to find the flag, well it started off seeming interesting, but then it went on and on, and where was their flag? i dont know... so what was the point to everything? i dont know, was our goal nearing being over? i dont know... well after 1 hour of running around wasting my time ( should have stopped alot earlier) i gave up and joined the rest of the people who had given up, and just lyed down on the grass from being tired, a whistle was blown and the game was over. who won? i dont know...
>teacher performances
>dinner, now this was getting to be a long time ago, i cant remember probably was late though
>again a day with music, latin dance class, world drumming, tutoring the tyrell kids only alot shorter as we arrived there around one
>lunch was... our first meal there?
>unpacked in the rooms
>left the bus with our luggage and went to the rooms
>long bus ride where 99bottles of beer on the wall was finished by the end of it.
>left school at 9:30
Months, weeks pass in the "school", whereas a couple of days pass in "music camp" and so much can happen... what i couldnt do in the longest time, i could do there...

i didn't read the post yet... its just very intimidating
okay... people sniffed you, you talked to girls, you watched as others got bullied and got bullied, you dance (hopefully and for god please so it doens't mess up our out look on you) with a girl, ate old stale food (gravy shouldn't have the consistency of jello), coke has its own section???, and finally a shift in the space time continum as you trasistion from school and music and back to school...
these are my observations/thoughts from you post....
