Please don't rain tomorrow....

Today was a nice change. I got out of fourth period to head downtown with my history teacher and two friends to get equipment for the school bbq we're having tomorrow. It was really a nice change, since our history teacher looks kind of like Kernel Sanders of the KFC as my friend pointed out today. We got their.... talked about girls on the way and so on and so fourth. (Whats with the girls lately? It's like our hormones are being overdosed.) It was a weird ride since our teacher is an old, white, overweight history teacher who has gangster rap in his car, and was listening to it. Its more gangster than the rap that we listen to now. This stuff was like stuff Tupac made but couldn't release to the public. It was so awkward. We also realized how to tell if someone is short based on how close their driver's chair is to the steering wheel.

Once we got to the store Steve's (something here by I forget, so it'll be Steve's for now), we realize that we had to head somewhere else for rentals since the main store is for purchases only. After walking around the block and past the store, we realized that the street numbers were decreasing so we had to double back, and we found the store, which had a little sign above the store saying Steve's. Inside, the place looked kind of like a dump, as many places in downtown do. We managed to trade in a CD player for a CD dj set at the last second for no additional cost. So we loaded the equipment onto our history teacher's car, and the three of us headed of for a TTC station.

We walked for thirty minutes to Osgoode station. We passed by Much Music/Chum City/City TV area on the way there. I saw the lady with the fro from Much Music with a camera crew as well as workers setting up stages for the up coming MMVAs.

It was a good afternoon except for the fact that once I got home, I found out that the surrounding area (thank god not us) is in a Tornado alert and that tomorrow it's suppose to rain. This is bad as there will be music equipment, varies carnival activities, and a barbecue outside. The weather doesn't seem to want to help out at the moment.
