Well, this is the second time I'm posting today. Before, I was killing time at Echoes' house before going off to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It was a good movie, a twist on the typical American family....
Okay, so its a big twist, but still a good movie (best for couples, or pairs who should be coupled and end up sitting together, if the other members catch my drift). So I ended up starting off with $20, and ended at $0 as I pitched a dollar in for popcorn, Echoes' ticket, and drinks for Echoes', U.U., and myself. It wasn't exactly the best way to save money.
The sad part in all this was when the five of us decided to buy a large popcorn using the change we had in out wallets. It was a toonie, a loonie, two quarters, and ten dimes. I approached the lady behind the counter of Rainbow Cinemas, told her what I was about to do was cruel, and asked for a large popcorn. She sighed, didn't notice the change and ignored the warning, and got us the popcorn. She came back, put the popcorn on the counter, and said "$5.50". I told her again that what I was about to do was cruel, laughed, and put the change on the counter. She looked confused when I said it again, looked down at the counter and understood what had happened. The change was already grouped together, and realized that there was no way for her to slide the change of the counter, and had to pick them up individually. She looked at me, sighed, leaned closer, and in her European accent with a twitch in her right eye said "I hate you". The funniest part in all of this was that she sounded serious. She smiled slightly, but was still twitching her right eye. I couldn't help but laugh, and cry slightly. I never knew being told you were hated by a stranger who was going against the morals of her job with be so hilarious. It was great, just great. I'll never forget the way she said "I hate you".
After that failure of public relation, I returned to my movie, came back to the same person five minutes later to buy the fore mentioned drinks, and returned to my seat to watch the movie. After the movie, we ended up trying to kill time. This is where Echoes' tried to make a stuffed Stitch dance like it said it would. The best we could find was one that would only sing, but not dance. He went through every doll and started to take some apart when me and U.U had to forcefully remove him. It was a sad event, especially since the employees were starting to get uneasy about what was going on.
Next we eventually made our way to Music World where Echoes stayed to try to listen to all of the Back Street boys CD that was playing aloud. This is also when he realized he wouldn't make it to his Volleyball game. This eventually got us out of the store and to a way out where I to dare Echoes in return for him not owing back money. He still owes me money. This all happened, we head home, U.U somehow sneaks a transfer received a couple hour before past a bus driver, and we all get home safe and with another day to kill tomorrow.
