wait wrong dream, it’s not even my dream. Google it for points. I actually had another dream lately, for me my most vivid dreams happen when I am beyond tired, usually on a nice afternoon where after my morning classes which I survive through on a single coffee, ends up hitting me while I’m studying, and somehow I go from studying at my computer to asleep on the bed by 2pm. Run on sentence, –1 point. I really should work on grammer, and I also really like this font.
My recent dream has reaffirmed me that dreams are loosely related with thoughts in my head that have recently happened, or been thought about. In my dream, it was about a girl. And the idea behind it, was directly what I was thinking about the previous night, only somehow exactly that in picture form. I have no idea how my brain was able to translate it that well.
brb studying for the next two weeks. bye. i’ll pop by occasionally,

April 1
No April fool pranks. Score.
Just realized my space bar is so oily I can see the reflection of my thumb as it presses the space bar.
Exercise Physiology lab exam tomorrow. Have no idea what 1 of the 4 labs are about. Well I do know, I just don’t know what to do for calculations. Hopefully there will be very little of it.
Got my orange stripe belt for aikido today! Kinda miss my yellow belt… it was my first belt. Weird enough… the white belt was the second belt I got because the white belt comes with a dogi or uniform and I got the yellow belt before I got the uniform. So yah, I’ve basically been wearing my yellow one for… the majority of the time I practiced aikido except for the first term when I wore gym clothes and no belt to class. Have to start breaking in my belt.
Went to M&M meat shop today and the lady there was so nice. There was a discount for those who had a Max card. She so wanted me to have that discount even though I didn’t have the card, so she just searched up someone with my last name, and pretended she was a relative and used her card instead. Hilarious, but I’m thankful =P coz I got 4 dollars off for having a fake relative. Ended up getting the card anyways… it was free. See a discount at M&M meat shop? call me up.
My stomach had 3 days of meat in a row. It’s either missing the meat… or it’s paying up for it rite now. Very annoying to be with… even though I need it.
Still missing my iPod… I’m not even that sad about losing it. It just bums me out that I also lost my $40 earphones with that ipod. It’s like a critical hit to my music listening abilities. Gah….!!!
I post when I have nothing better to do… and don’t wanna study…

Drakonen thinks he can post in other people’s comments. Luckily, he has a loyal blogmate that won’t let a good post come unnoticed
“Your dream is cool and all, but I was captain of a large flying sailing ship in my last memorable dream. I was half through the dream and coming up on a thick clouds when i thought, this is a ship, i can just sail under them.... somehow ended up in a Buddhist temple in a japan hiding behind statues trying to pick of ninja.... weird eh?”
Loving windows live writer… i don’t have to sign out of my new gmail account in order to access my old one just to post.
Strangest Dream
Well it’s not the strangest, it’s just I haven’t remembered a dream in a while.
Basically, someone apparently very important to me died (though I do not remember exactly who it was). All I remember is me singing “Have I told you lately” by Rod Stewart (at least that’s the version I know) in a very emo way. I was just crying and singing at the same time so there was a lot of voice cracking and… it was just emotional. Too scary for me. Going up an octave every so often.
I don’t know what that was all about. Dreams are interesting though so I’ll just put it up here in case it’s of any significance in the future =S
Edit 2: Bored... so I thought I'd include lyrics for fun
Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you theres no one else above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles thats what you do
For the morning sun in all its glory
Greets the day with hope and comfort too
You fill my life with laughter
And somehow you make it better
Ease my troubles thats what you do
Theres a love thats divine
And its yours and its mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray
To the one, to the one
Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you theres no one else above you
Fill my heart with gladness
Take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles thats what you do
Theres a love thats divine
And its yours and its mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
We should give thanks and pray
To the one, to the one
And have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you theres no one else above you
You fill my heart with gladness
Take away my sadness
Ease my troubles thats what you do
Take away all my sadness
Fill my life with gladness
Ease my troubles thats what you do
Take away all my sadness
Fill my life with gladness
Ease my troubles thats what you do
Edit 1: Oh, and I seem to have lost my iPod.... MY IPOD!!! THAT I PAID A LOT FOR! NOOOO.... MY OSAP MONEY!!! It must be somewhere... if i can't find it, i just hope the person who does find it is blessed by my awesome ipod that is in a pretty nice condition since it's in a case... that I bought.... .... I'm so bitter...

Weekend Over Already?
Went back to Toronto this weekend for a practice/meeting while in the process taking care of groceries and spending time with family. Mostly ate chinese food coz it’s hard to get it in London. Although now, after Nimalan (I’m assuming we’re all going for first names now) introduced me to his restaurant site, I spent a bit of time researching places to eat in London that looks interesting. I may try them out sometime. Mostly the ones that were rated with 4 stars and up that make asian (whether viet or chinese or japanese) food.
Feel like watching Monsters vs. Aliens. har har har…
and possibly I love you, man
Couldn’t sleep last night… went to bed around 2:30. My mind was oddly tired, but active. I was just tossing and turning in my bed ‘til what seemed like 5am. So I was super tired the whole day. Got some shut-eye during the ride back to London though… although my mind didn’t drift off until the last 45 minutes of the trip. Beginning of the trip was mostly comprised of me shutting my eye, but eavesdropping on conversations occuring in the car i was in… lalala. Yah… my mind just seems to be very distracted. A lot going on…
On a brighter note though, I bought laundry detergent and i am not afraid to use it! mmm… nothing quite brings the happiness that comes with clean, nice smelling clothes.
Maybe i’ll put some of my frustrations down in an actual post… but i’m distracted with songs blasting in my ears rite now so I’ll leave it for later.

one month-ish?
Its been a month since the new resurgence of posts… really? already?
Anyways, had my aunt’s wedding on Saturday… who new it was so hard to put together a wedding? It worked out well, although I’ve never done so much heavy lifting, and I’ve never seen us not have enough of almost everything, in completely unpredictable and unrelated numbers. We’re either down by 50, 4, or a 100. Still, the end result was gorgeous, and fun, and made my aunt cry…. in happiness, mainly because she only saw the end result.
So that’s that, and all I can say from it is that you really do get a really large swath of personalities that go to a temple, both saints and sinners, a really unusual bunch. My aunt volunteers as a event organizer at the temple near her house, her father’s the equivalent of a pastor, so she deals with a lot kids. I guess sticking with school sort of filters out all the peers who skipped school and spent time doing other things, usually more notorious. Still, its amazing how well faith reforms people.
Also, a cool website for wallpapers: IntefaceLift
Song’s been stuck looping
Sickness
Not as sick as Nimalan was a week or two ago, but i’m coming down with something. Darn you runny nose and sore throats.
coming back to Toronto this weekend. yay…

Aikido
I should be writing my essay which was due last week… yet I am here posting something. So I should make this quick before I forget what my second point is in my essay.
I haven’t actually been going to aikido all that much because I’ve either been really busy with meetings or I just got lazy and wanted to chill. Whenever I do go though, it’s a lot of fun. The instructors are hilarious and the people there are pretty friendly. You can feel their genuine care when you’ve been gone for a while. It’s a nice feeling =).
Yesterday was my aikido testing day; going for 7th kyu which is an orange stripe belt. I should be testing for an orange… but I missed the test last semester so I’m a bit behind the people that I started out with. It’s really encouraging when the instructors were the ones who pushed me to test because it shows that they do have confidence in you. It’s apparently a general unwritten rule that if the instructor tells you to test, you’ve already passed. Unless you mess up big time of course… then you fail.
Also made it as one of the Western Aikido Club exec. I was suppose to be president this upcoming year, but since I haven’t been going as much, it’s been decided that it would be better if we see someone else who has been going more regularly to apply for it. So now instead of president, I’m VP secretary. I take care of the attendance list and some if not most of the admin stuff… which is mostly sending out emails.
Guess i should be going back to work now.

Videos Watched: 9,092
What the… YouTube video watching has gotten out of hand. I am afraid to count how much time that amounts to. My nights when not outside, revolve around me with my two monitors, usually multitasking like mad. right now I have:
- an episode of 30 rock playing on one monitor.
- a firefox browser open with 5 tabs, one including the youtube page where I found that particular statistic.
- two msn conversations open in the background
- a program in one of the corners monitoring the temperature of my computer
- a pdf with my calculus assignment in the background
- another pdf with the answers to the calculus assignment ALSO in the background
- my c++ programming assignment ALSO in the background
- AND my calc textbook and notebook in the sliding part of the desk in front of me
The horrors of computers taking over. This is making me want to go out for some fresh air. Just a reminder to take a break and stretch once in a while.
Life
The end.
Actually, just a few quick updates in my life. Got a much needed haircut, and there goes my analogy of my life is as messy as my hair. I have a long chemistry lab 8:30am tomorrow that will last until 12, and I am catching up on the pre/post lab for tomorrow. Last week was death to sum it up.
I will give out some new music recommendations soon as I separate myself from this chaotic period and during my much needed peace before the storm(finals).
My appolgies to UU for stealing his colour(a serious crime in the blogging community) I will start to post with one of my other favourite colour.. orange!
One of the Bloggers
you people and recommending/rating artists and their albums.
I don’t have an artist or album to recommend. Like I said in the last post, i’m watching a lot of scrubs. I get most of my songs from scrubs… lol kinda sad. Anyways, My Road by Quinn Walker sounds pretty nice… better if you can hear the bass… probably.

One of the many untitled posts
So, let’s get on with a few updates.
Coffeehouse. I distinctively remember the first and what was the only coffeehouse I helped out (performance-wise) in was very traumatizing. I was close to having a nervous breakdown. My heart was beating mad fast before I had to go on. I even had to stay outside and stretch. Very unpleasant. However, once I got up there, I did ok. I was satisfied with what happened on stage and I had a sense of peace.
This coffeehouse was the opposite of that. I felt nervous… but it was the kind of nervousness that I always have before playing in front of a crowd of people. I wasn’t as nervous beforehand this time because I knew most of the people watching whereas last year it was the beginning of first year when I didn’t really know anyone. However, whether it was because the song was sung very low during the verses or I just got really nervous or the combination of them both, my voice started shaking and I couldn’t project my voice (and even when I do, it’s still pretty soft). To this day, I’m still playing that moment over in my head and beating myself up for it. How could I mess up like that? Many debates are currently going on in my head… even though I should just let it go because it has already passed. Also thankful for the friends there that just encouraged me when I was putting myself down after.
The skit was a bit more fun to do. After putting myself down the first act, my thought was that nothing that I was about to do would be worse than what had just happened. It went fairly smooth. Maybe one minor timing glitch but it wasn’t noticeable.
Pretty much finished Fable… I could do a bit more, but I should actually really study. I haven’t really taken my studies that seriously. I have however, been reading a lot. Except it’s not for school. Maybe i’ll post something about it when I’m more bored than I am now. Got up to date with the 8th season of scrubs that I thought would never exist coz I thought the 7th season was the last. The 8th season is actually pretty funny. Or at least more so than the more recent seasons. Also watching the 8th season of friends. I forgot where I left off a few years ago after the…. incident….. dot dot dot.
dot.
spilled a bit of sauce on my bed sheets and now i have to wash them all! (with my house mate’s laundry detergent coz mine ran out. Was suppose to buy detergent today but I couldn’t decide which one was the best. Bad decision skills).

Windows Live Writer
Fine… I’ll use it just because it has been recommended twice. Peer pressure…
I probably won’t be using this type of font on all my posts because it’s just too much trouble to select everything. We will see. Anyways, found out I had an essay due today that has already been extended 2 weeks… I just didn’t notice that the 2 weeks ended today. So i basically have to write an essay before next week or i will fail (not really… but still… fail)
As for coffeehouse stuff… I’m not totally sure how ready I am. I am in two acts, the first one being me singing and on guitar with another friend singing; the other is a skit. I’m interested to see how nervous I’ll get right before I go on. Last years coffee house was the most nervous experience in my life. Definitely will be an interesting night.
Other than that… had an awesome time in the anatomy lab taking out the large and small intestines and cutting open a human liver. It’s actually pretty small. People usually think it’s huge, but it’s actually contained in a lot of fat and a sac so once you open everything up, the kidney is only like 70% of it’s size before.
Our cadaver had so many surgeries done due to having so many things wrong with him. I kinda wonder what his life was like before he died. He died from his right lung kinda exploding, but when you open him up there is so much more than that. His heart was ridiculously huge… or rather it was just larger than what it’s normally suppose to be for a guy his size. He had heart surgery… we think he got his valves replaced. His digestive track is just DESTROYED. He couldn’t do his number 2 normally. He had part of his intestines rerouted out of his belly and into a bag.
Can you just imagine that?
What is life like when you can’t even poo normally?
I know my whole group kinda felt sorry for the guy. He also had gall stones and a cyst on his kidneys. If he didn’t die from his lungs, he would’ve died from other stuff. I think he also had cancer on his intestines too.
What will happen when I get old? What’s happening in each of our bodies? It's all a mystery
Oh life…

I had to post it, i just had to.
Guys we have a new theme song. See below.
[EDIT]: Err... I'm a noob. Why isn't this working? Can one of the more technically adept members help to fix this?
[EDIT2]: It actually SORT of works and can be viewed if you click one of the video links in the bottom of the video bar once it loads and the message pops up.
How is that not cool? I personally don’t care too much about the dark vibe feelings from the video, but the beat i have to admit is pretty catchy.
Everyone sound’s like they’ve been enjoying themselves lately, well nim did have a weekend of enjoyment before that… I think i’ll include myself in this group. I do have to agree with Gary and say that the weather brings out the best in people.
Perfect weather yesterday. I went out twice yesterday to play with a soccerball around the res where I live. When a group of people can just get together and kick a ball around, in some sort of field/parking lot mix, then it must be something special.
Working inside with the windows open and a gentle breeze blowing in, is one of the nicest feelings which I can remember in my recent memory. Wait, Driving with the windows slightly rolled down and a breeze blowing in as I drive Might top that.
This warm weather also reminds me that summer is next term. Summer in toronto will be amazing, no more having to study while everyone has fun which happened to me last year.

Regurgitate
Oh where or where to begin, with good news or bad news? Might as well go chronological!
Last Saturday I went to the South Asian Alliance Show, and went as part of University of Scarborough’s Spirit team. That ended up happening because I couldn’t initially go to the show, but when the day cleared up, my high school buddies called me up to see if I was going and that they were buying tickets right then. So I ended up going to the show as part of the UTSC spirit team, which is basically where all 14 participating universities had people come who weren’t participating in the stage performance sat with their respective universities and had to both cheer and perform a special intro cheer right before the stage performance. The UTSC theme this year was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and the cheer we had to do (which me and my friend from waterloo learned in the lobby of the Hershey’s Centre) was us unwrapping larger chocolate bars with university names on it singing “whose got the golden ticket” as if we were Oompa Loompas. Suffice to say, the winning golden wrapper was in the UTSC bar, and the one minute cheer went straight to a Willy Wonka themed Bollywood dance off. Did I mention this is a competition, which is judged? Waterloo won I think like 9 of the 19 awards, including the top award of Best Performance. Their theme was university life, with the different styles and themes within south Asian culture split up to represent the different faculties. They definitely had the best funding, and the best usage of props and stage sets, which made for a good show, but sad competition. York was second with a Super Mario theme, which curiously University of Toronto Mississauga campus also did. Third was McMaster, which did a take on the movie Night at the Museum. Others worth mentioning is Western's Mafia movie theme performance, where their cheer was a trailer of sorts, UTSG did… I can’t seem to remember for the life of me… I just remember UTSC people feeling depressed for not winning anything (we should’ve won best spirit team). It was a fun 5+ hours of pure exhaustion (we cheered louder then most, and led the entire group a lot of times since we were in the middle). Also, there were so many hot brown girls and not enough guys to watch them, so a great sight everywhere!
So that was Saturday… Sunday was spent making pancakes with me and my cousin since we woke up at 8am somehow. It wasn’t my first time making pancakes, but I botched the batch since I couldn’t find a whisk, and used an electric mixer instead. In my stupidity, I used it in a shallow bowl and ended up ejecting a good portion of the egg yolk. Too hungry and lazy to start over, I went ahead and made them. I messed up again because I left the heat too high in the pan which caused the pancakes to burn easily, so I lowered it. Well, instead of lowering it and waiting for heat to dissipate, i went ahead and made the last bunch. Now, if you want to not burn things, you put them in lower heat, or you put if for less time. I chose the latter, and resulted in undercooked pancakes. Luckily, maple syrup masks all… too well….. My cousin was too hungry, and nice to complain, so that was that…..
For him at least (dah dah daaaaaaaaaaaaah)
The rest of the day was spent with me, my cousin, my sister, and three other cousins taking a cousin a newly arrived cousin from France shopping with us at Orfus Rd, to which I have never been to personally but is the outlet street for Urban Planet and Stitches and Cosa Blanka and wherever else girls show (they got tops for $5!?!). Last time I apparently met this cousin was 10 years ago, where she was a flower girl with my sister for our aunt’s wedding. Now, this aunt’s youngest sister is getting married, and she’s back. She’s never bought so many close in her life, and neither have I, nor any of the guys there. Hell, it was more then my current wardrobe! How many times can you split $200 into $5 increments? Yeah, exactly. I was hilarious because the French cousin could speak French, German, Italian and Spanish…. but not any English, so we all had to speak Tamil. Which none of us are the greatest in. So I had fun with family that day.
So finally, 4am Monday, I wake up to a stomach ache, go up two flights into the washroom, and throw up, a lot. After four complete upchucks, I rinse my mouth out and tried to sleep on the couch. I ended up up vomiting up four more times, with at least three upchucks each. I don’t think I’ve ever been so dehydrated. So I took two glasses of water. Who the hell throws up water? Its like my body was waiting for me to give it a medium to upchuck. Hell, I threw up some more after that, and there was no more bitter acid taste, just tasteless vomit… which I gagged so hard at one point that half of it came out of my nose… ugh. So a trip to my family doctor (whom I haven’t seen in more then a year) basically asked me what I think I should do, since it was clear what the cause was at this point. I ended up with a liquid diet for the last three days, a shot of gravol injected into my ass (literally) by the doctor so I could actually eat something and survive, and antibiotics since I was coming down with a slight fever. Last three days have been locked in bed, random light vomiting, tasteless food, clothes that I have yet to buy for a wedding on Saturday, and my buddies posting how nice the weather is and how much fun they’re having! SPRING FEVER!
Oh, and my cousin had no problems, so he’s enjoying his march break.

Anyways, fantastical week so far. Nice sun, moderate a.k.a. PERFECT temperature. mmmmmm...
So yesterday, had to skip basketball... mostly coz i hate it... but even if i hate it I still go. So this time added on to the hate, my hips and knees were pretty bruised up from practicing a skit I'll be helping out with for our second Coffeehouse. It was a nice and relaxing hour and a half (the other half an hour was spent traveling to the next class).
Went to Anatomy... and then re-read and took more notes on a book that I will later go more in detail with.
Then I went to a workshop session where they talked about interview skills specifically pertaining to medical school. I don't plan on going to medical school, I just went there to learn more about interview skills.
Couldn't stay long, as I had to go bowling. Went bowling for Men's Cell. Got there around 7 and waited a while for a lane to open up. Played 3 games which took about 2 hours. So by the time we ended, it was about 10 something.
Went to eat afterwards at Crabby's. 39 cent wings... are niiiice. Didn't go there this whole year. By the time we ended, it was about 11:30 or so.
After that, went over to a friends house and played poker. The game lasted until around 2:30 maybe. The losers started playing Rock Band so after the game finished everyone just joined in and played rock band until 3:30.
It was a fun... and expensive day.
Not sure what else I wanted to post. I'm really sleepy... g'nite.
Spending a lot of money on Orange juice
I have found myself spending alot of money on orange juice lately, or well not just recently but more so throughout all of my past and present university terms.
I have funded “tropicana” with countless amounts of money over the past while. They somehow make their juice taste so good in a way that, the 1.99 carton of pulpless so called orange juice does not. In our fridge, or well in my section of it anyways, there always must be at least some form of tropicana orange juice within it.
I probably cannot go more than a week without seeing it in my fridge. Sure here and there I splurge for the odd fruitopia, or fivealive carton to make up for it. But more often than not i find myself buying the same thing week in and week out, and it has really put a strain on my wallet.
I can go grocery shopping and somehow spend 35$ somewhat dollars and it only accounts for a few meals, the mystery of the missing money at the grocery store still puzzles me.
stupid 8:30 classes.

Things i’ve found when doing the laundry
5$ and a calculator. I have no clue how it got there. But the 5$ was a nice find. I guess the calculator is useful, for school?
The weather IS nice, no i haven’t gone out on any wacky adventures like Gary has. But i have enjoyed being outside. So many possible summer ideas do come to mind though which have made the last few days more enjoyable. Just waiting for others in my class to get a job, as many of them are having a tough time given the current economy. It’s tough to talk about anything fun without inadvertently (misspell most likely and i can’t find the spell checker) causing them undue mini-angers. I know the feeling of seeing others get jobs before me and how i felt in my previous job-less state.
I Just found one of those daily pill/vitamin boxes which I have started using and it actually Does it’s job of reminding me.

Perfect Days
It was so nice that I decided to have an adventure... by myself again. Mostly coz I don't think anyone I know would be stupid enough to do it with me. I'll explain what I really did, then try to equate it into Toronto terms so it's easier to understand.
The goal of this adventure was to go to a place called Upper Room. It's kind of like Mitchells (since Jon knows of it) basically a christian book store. Now, London buses are very annoying as they make unexpected turns which tend to make you lose your sense of direction. I've taken the bus I took many times before, but never to the goal of today. I usually take this bus to get to the Wal-mart superstore. Which... is what eventually ended up happening. So I walked from the Wal-mart superstore which is at Hyde Park, to Wonderland Rd. which is where Upper Room is. That took maybe 20 minutes. Spent about an hour in there looking at books, bought a CD. Then I didn't bother taking the bus coz it's just annoying so I chose to walk home. That would be walking from Wonderland to Richmond (Masonville).
So to kinda put things into perspective. It would kinda be like walking from Kennedy and Sheppard to Fairview Mall. Starting from Kennedy, and walking to Pharmacy. Then walking from Pharmacy and finishing the trip off at Fairview. Although rite now, it seems really easy in my mind. That's only because living in Toronto, you develop landmarks to know how your progressing. This was a new adventure... so I had no idea how far everything was so it did seem a bit longer than it probably was. Still, I got my sun time, and I was reading as I was walking. There were a few hills on the way, but good exercise overall. And then I walked home. Which is another block of walking.
No Weekend Posts?
Was it all just a splurge?
Did it come, and already go?
This weekend I “watch”ed the “watch”men.
( first real hyperlink, it better work )
Having heard about this movie from various people who watched it last weekend ( opening weekend ). One thing which I was warned by many to do was to read up on it first. So that I did. Wikipedia Obviously. It wasn’t enough. By the end of the 2hour and 25somewat minutes I was still left quite confused by the whole thing. It was a very slow paced movie, which went into excruciating details about every single characters past in the story. Most of which just made it more confusing. Why’s and why’s I was left with. Aside from that, it had all the makings as to what could have been a very good movie for me. Or it may have been, to someone very familiar with the story.

First time I feel smart
So it's really nice when I found out that I got an 82 on one of my Exercise Physiology exams and a 90 on an essay paper for children's literature. I am quite proud and thankful.
i am also glad that my posts weren't as pointless as Jon's two random posts lol. Although they were quite entertaining i must say.

Pressure
The Fable-craze is starting to die down as priorities begin to set in. I've been very thankful for a lot of things this past school year. With my new sense of appreciation of life and how easily it can be taken away one would think that I'm just about thankful for everything. However, I think i've been taking a few things too lightly... or for granted. With relationships and school, I'm just not that great at organizing my priorities.
With a new sense of transparency, let us dive deep into echoes mind and see who he really is underneath that mask.
So who is Echoes? He may talk a lot at times when it seems fitting, but he is actually quite an antisocial guy. When nearing the socializing quota, he hides away in his room and gets distracted by the internet.
This explains the random mumblings and awkward situations he gets himself into... or where the first case leads to the second case. Talking just takes too much effort and energy, but echoes is frequently happy to go out of his comfort zone to make new friendships and build relationships with others.
With his low self-esteem and antisocial behaviour, cubicals or slightly solitary areas are the place to be and the place to study. It surrounds him with people, yet there is no pressure to talk. Though Echoes doesn't mind talking once in a while, he does occupy himself in a world inside his head where he's not such a big loser. =P.
Wow... this is beginning to sound like a suicide note. I've just been reflecting on my manhood (subject for insults yes... set myself up for that), and I just can't help critisizing my faults and problems with my personality. I've just been talking to a few people about relationships and it's just been a beat down for me as people continually tell me to take charge and to be a man, stop being so complacent (that last one was just me). I know they probably meant well and said it to encourage me to step up a little. I guess the approach to it however didn't really sit well with me and it just fueled the critisizm that continually occurs in my head of the things I need to do and the things that i'm lacking to the point that I'm just breaking down.
You can tell me to step up, and be a leader... but those words just don't inspire me. I know i have to take more initiative and be more balsy but I need to know how. I respond better to stories, of people who were in this situation where they felt inadequate but somehow battled through with a reasonable amount of hard work.
This post just took up my shower time.... this is what unknownuser made me do. You made me dirty unknownuser. That sounds wrong. I will take a shower tomorrow morning... if i wake up for it... ok maybe i'll just wash my hair. Ah whtever, i'll take a 2 a.m. shower. Wht up!
edit: I should probably finish the point I was making with school and relationships. Basically I have to start taking them both more seriously instead of just brushing them to the side. I need to start going hard core studying and hardcore reflection and thinking/prayer if you will.

Sleeping Patterns
Some people hate it, some can't live without it. I remember back in middle school and early high school, as coffee being this weird foreign substance which didn't taste very good. I mean, sweet hot chocolate, bubbly coke, or pretty much anything with sugar in it, pretty much >>> coffee.
Why would Anyone possibly want to drink something which was bitter and didn't taste very good? My jump to coffee was so strange, and i still remember when and how it happened. Well its a bit fuzzy now that it was a bit back, and possibly repeated use of coffee may have dulled my memory. But anyways,
it all began one summer when I was working at a music camp for younger students, Quite a few late nights , and somehow I needed a way to stay awake as I had quite a bit of responsibilities throughout the long day. So I resorted to drinking this coffee thing, people spoke of. I remember it being very black at the time, and me not a fan of seeing myself put too much sugar into coffee drank it that way. After a few days in a row, coffee made the transition from ew to mmm. red rover red rover i call coffee over. go coffee mon.
I came back from the camp in addition to many other lessons learned, with a new found joy for coffee.
I have invented the time machine.
More like an ability to add one hour of time anytime i want.
Due to my class schedule, I am granted with a terrible lack of sleep due to All my classes beginning at 8:30 am everyday, all clumped together one after another, for a nice morning of classes til 12:30 or so day in and day out. Meaning minus days with four hour labs in the afternoon which have become much less frequent due to an improved ability to finish it without even really going in during lab times, means Long afternoons.
Having long afternoons are not as healthy or productive as they seem. Time seems to drift away, slowly but surely. The secret, is to "*"
Alright so I got the job in toronto, Pretty excited about moving back and living at home. One thing for sure is i'll get to live with my sister before she goes off to wherever, the offer letters are coming in one by one, so her choices are expanding, with most being out of toronto. Another is I guess to stay with parents before the empty nest phenomena may happen. Shut up nim, it works back you know.
* set all your clock an hour ahead, Except for your alarm. it's 1:30 right now, wait no its 12:30 so i've technically gained an hour.
I don't mind this black background at all.

Bap Bop De Do Bop
I’ve added two more albums to my current playlist, Kasabian by Kasabian and Perfect Symmetry by Keane and am looking at the newest album by Ne-yo which i never got around to. Did anyone else know that the wiki page for albums automatically collects and displays “professional reviews”? It would be interesting to actually go through it and see how “professional” critics see, or hear, the music we listen too, although i suppose metacritic.com is much more powerful at aggregating it….
I think I have a think for British rock, with mild to heavy electronica, or maybe its because I’ll never hear it on local radio
Things seem to be going smoothly, I’ll be going to the South Asian Student Alliance show that happens every year. It happens with all the universities in Ontario with their respective south asian clubs/alliances/groups. I didn’t go to last year’s one, but people said it was well worth it, which i will find out this coming Saturday. The after party is also said to be eventful, if your into after parties of mainly westernized south asian kids… hopefully the guy:girl ratio isn’t abysmal.
On a completely different note, how awesome is the Naruto manga going? Am i the only one who reads it? After all, you can read it online, so its not like you have to put to much work into downloading and extracting anything. I mean, there’s been non-stop action for a long time now with massive losses for both protagonist and antagonist, always loved it when the author is willing to kill of characters that were prominent, unlike others… *cough*

My computer keeps shutting down
down down down
down down
down
Overheating apparently? In the whole process of upgrading to windows 7, i was blessed with nicer looking backgrounds and themes, and much faster gaming?? but anyways my core temperature is pretty high, like high enough to almost boil water sometimes, so its constantly being monitored which is quite the hassle, Higher temps = lift laptop and attempt to blow. Not really but it helps a little bit to just lift it up at an agle at certain times, so the next thing i need is some sort of fan mounted thingy.
Another thing which bothers me is that my fan, Blows out COLD air, while the temp is still quite high everywhere else.

Fable...
However, there are moments of smooth play which is awesome. Fable is quite different from Fable II... or should i say the other way around as Fable was the original one. Controls are different largely due to me using a keyboard now... (without a mouse...) instead of a controller. But even then, the way we place experience on different skills is different and the transportation. If there wasn't so much lagging, i might actually enjoy the game more. There's actual mana for fable whereas in fable 2 u can just keep firing off magic with no consequences... which i likeeeee haha.
... Fable time...
Things to do on a saturday in waterloo..
Sleep in til late! followed by lazily cooking up some leftovers, by popping it into the microwave requiring little to no work at all. Followed by catching up on the usual engadget, cnet tv, tsn, etc. Then an afternoon spent, episodes and episodes of how i met your mother combined with attempting to study to make myself feel like the day was not wasted, catching up with music downloads, gathering the few people left in waterloo for a dinner, and some msn time then we get to right now, where I have just set my clock an hour forward, and realize that it is once again a 1am post.
A short post to make myself feel better about posting and to make others post more.

Name change?
Just landed a very possible chance at working at a small biotech company in markham for the next co-op term, woot. small = 8 people. Peter / Gary i may need to draw on some of your uber bio / chem skills. We'll see how it goes, Just need to go confirm this. And some programming? ( Visual Studio . NET, PHP ) so i may be asking Nim for some help? And the owner of the company is an electrical engineering grad. nice..
Hmm i know i had a few other things to say,
Just came out of christian fellowship today where they had an intense dsl? discussion. I understand one of you a bit more now... probably not anyways, but it provided a nice insight into how christians view relationships , dating and it all.
Why is it always 1am>~ by the time i get to posts? i'll post earlier next time

World Record Time
I had massive writer' block last night.. so I woke up this morning at 7am. to finish my 12 page essay. The problem was that it was due at 6pm, and I was looking around youtube until 10am to seriously start.
Timeline:
10am: Introduction done without thesis
2pm: Thesis + first main point
4pm: two main points complete
5pm:rushed my last point + conclusion in one hour along with references..
Handed it in at 6:20pm. =]
I'm quite proud.. and the essay wasn't half bad either!
Well, I'm going to go have a break now!
P.S. Drak's font sucks!
R.I.P. Assassin's Asylum
Should be studying for tonight's exam but i checked the blog just because my blog senses were tingling. And they were tingling for a reason.
We will miss you Assassin's Asylum.
And yes... it is an alliteration. Mmm.... rhetoric devices.
I’m Just messing around here
Does this font look like segoe print? And in how many places? as this font is only available in vista and up? and yeah, i changed the name of the title hacked together a title image in paint….. if you have a problem
then just say something, i’ll switch it all back…. Assassin’s asylum had good alliteration (i think that’s the one), but Prodigy’s Omen is so much of a slicker and more imposing name? yes? no? maybe so? this has the makings of being Legen…. wait for it….
screw you, never saw a single episode :P
Posting to Catch Up?
In other news, I shouldn't be posting right now coz i have an exam... today... haha. Although I think I know my stuff... I probably don't. I have Exercise Physiology at 5:30pm to when i finish which is no later than 6:45. So here is how my day looks.... some of you may beat me... but... whatever:
12:30 to 2:30 -> Basketball ( I will rant about this later)
2:30 to 3:30 -> Anatomy Lecture
3:30 to no later than 5-> Anatomy Lab (looking at abs for this lab... yay cadavers)
Lab finish to 5:30 -> last minute review of exercise physiology exam
5:30 to 6:45 -> ex phys exam
7 to 10 -> Children's Literature
All in all... about 9 hours on campus doing actual class and not just studying. And to start off the day, Basketball.
I don't know what image you have of me in sports, I am in no way, shape, or form good at basketball. Volleyball is nice... tennis is kool (yay i can play tennis now! i challenge u!)... but basketball? Ok ok, swimming was PRETTY horrible. But I can understand that, water and I don't mix well; plus, there were other people who weren't that great at swimming too. But basketball??? I think everyone in Kin is actually good at basketball... like wow... of course there are those who aren't as "experienced", but ahhhh! My stamina... does no exist. I think my heart is like the size of a pea... I go on for 5 minutes and i'm done. It's actually very annoying and frustrating. I'm not super competitive, but I don't like to feel inferior to everyone else... even the girls man. I like to be not superior, but good enough that I can play pretty decently and help out the weaker players. I guess it's another eye-opening experience to see how it feels to be a weak player... ever since i've been playing volleyball and tennis I've just taken the sport activities lightly. Perhaps a build up of hidden pride? Time to be humbled and actually have to try to get good marks.
With that aside... somehow the instructor of the course knows my name... and just seems to only know my name. I don't remember what his full name is... but maybe his first name is the same as mine. I'm just sorta weirded out how I'm always hearing "good job Gary" (but to me, i'm actually doing a bad job... but that's not the point). Yah... don't know what's happening there.
Anyways, maybe i should get some studying done. Maybe I can do some studying whilst posting. Exercise physiology. Basically going over the respiratory system and cardio. So, the lungs and the heart and how it reacts to exercise and influences exercise as well. First off, learning how the basic system works. How blood gets oxygenated and deoxygenated. Knowing why and the processes that help blood get oxygenated and deoxygenated. Having high partial pressure of oxygen in the alveoli and low pp. of oxygen. Yay diffusion. Knowing what tidal volume, vital capcity, expiratory reserve volume, inspiratory reserve volume, etc... is... when we exercise what happens in our bodies that let us compensate for the lactate generated and the oxygen usage and carbon dioxide production.
ok you know what, this is kinda getting boring. Hopefully, one of u readers figured out how boring that paragraph was getting and skipped to this one. Even I got bored. Ok. Time to study. Hopefully.

Squash was surprisingly fun
Edit: so all in all, i recommend this. Raquet, ball, court, game face, done.
Tangent
If your bored, and you don’t mind watching documentaries (or an entire season of one), the above link will give you a pretty good idea of the current popular physics theories on the fundamentals of the universe.
Sigh, I have the last three episodes of House downloaded on my home computer, and no time nor the patience to actually see them through, and you people want me to watch all these other “great” shows and movies…. maybe on the morning/afternoon commute, somehow.
*Edited for clarification...
Quick Post
I welcome two sleepless nights without lucid dreaming!
So quick post before I get started on reading my history text, nothing too interesting in my life. I am however trying to email some profs on getting a volunteer position in a research lab so I can both work and volunteer during the summer and won't be bored out of my mind! I'm hoping this summer will be legend.... wait for it =P DARRRY!
I watched way too many eps of HIMYM lately, please forgive!
Alright, Peace Out "Bros"!
P.S. UU! I do have imob, but i'm never online due to the lack of wifi around me!
I am around lvl 9? I tend to forget, but I wasn't very good. I was a mongol I think! Complete opposite for a kid studying in life sci.. but that's how I roll not in RL!

- Make a few cell phone ring tones, I've got a couple that I have in mind, but just never having time to sit down and find a music file editor, AND find where i misplaced the usb to phone connection, unless i wanted to go into bluetooth between my laptop and the cellphone, but that again would take more researching.
- Sort music, put in ipod, listen!, i've been listening to things from months and months ago because I haven't done this in so long. So difficult to keep things ordered and i haven't found a music program that I like.
- Day 1 of using a planner, please let it continue...
This list was alot shorter than I anticpated, I think was just the "official" version of it but anyways onto the next topic, not as formal as everyone else, I did listen to the fray's new album and I actually did like, it is true that many songs did sound similiar, but i felt like they kept true to their original album which worked out well for them the first time around. Lately though, two albums which have been on repeat for me have been akon's "freedom" album and kanye west's "808 & heartbreak" album. A slight change, but throwing in different genres here and there do help me to get that mix from when i lazily play through the whole albums rather than stay with a comfortable playlist, in the attempt to get more albums lsitened to, however bad they may be, I tried scarlett johannsen's 2008 album recently, i believe its a year old. To be blunt, it was very strange and she sounded like a man.. i had never heard her sing before but pictured the type of genre i thought the album would fill, it didnt. I'll probably give it another attempt another time to make sure I wasn't biased but it did not leave me wanting to go back for another listen.
30 second Rant section (not really wanting to use proper grammer, although not like my grammer was very good anyways): What's twitter, i keep hearing about it, -m&m go get imob, its fun. if you do friend code, now., - note to self: stop playing tetris on facebook, sprint mode is addicting, - I do agree with standardizing our blogs title with the url name. It has always confused me, someone post a story of what it meant. Although i'm sure someone already did, Repost!, - People say 30 rock is good, i should find out for myself, as are - slumdog millionaire, waking life, and...

Finally...
Finally an end of this chaotic and hectic week that it has been.
To start, I apologize for not updating and posting on the blog for the past year or more. Frankly, things got in the way, however I have not forgotten about it. I do in fact check this blog regularly.
Let's just start off by what happened this week with my 2 midterm, 2 prelab/post lab, and a couple of quizzes during this week alone. Despite all the time I had in reading week, I still ended up exhausted from studying. I probably slept about a combined good 15-20 hours this week? Averaging around 3 hourish from 5am to 8am or sometimes I get lucky (overslept) and wake up at 10-12 in the morning to realize how truly screwed I am. [/sarcasm] I manage to do okay on my labs and tests without too much difficulity for once my attempt to study did not end up as an epic failure.
You would think after high school, you would be used to cramming, and the way I go through high school and 1st year definitely made me think quick on my feet. Some of the techiques I am about to share are top sercet and 100% animal tested!
1st - Since you have been skipping for quite some time now, 12 hours of lecture awaited my cramming session. Solution? Speed up the lecture recording by 3X, 12 hour lectures in 4 hours? Simple and efficent! However requires 120% focus and mental concentration!
2nd - Further expansion from the pervious point, do some work during commutes. I was able to listen to the equivalent of 12 hours of lectures in similar two round trips on the subway.
3rd - This point is rather abstract: invent a time machine and go to the future when you are done the exam. No more cramming!
4th - Probably the best one yet, one must understand that reading week is called reading week for a reason!
Furthermore, let's look beyond this depressing life of mine and into the summer. Stupid winter, why does it seem it lasts forever! That's it, I am moving to vancouver! Then I do have to wear my fcuk scraf which I had lost recently. I know, just my luck. However if unknownuser manages to find it in the back seat of his car then please tell me =]. My memory is foggy about its location, prehaps it's from the lack of sleep. Running on with this, did you know? (family guy music/eps) that infact people tend to make up fake memories when they don't sleep very well. I guess that is probalby the reason I tend to fabricate my own theory on test and protest about it after I get my test back! Oh I forgot, this was suppose to be my summer, hopfully I can find some other interesting job other than tutoring, but what I am looking forward to is to finally travel to china!
Hopfully, I will learn and fix my whitewashed/broken up chinese! However, I did order at bubble tea in chinese! Amazing indeed! During my time in china, I hope to post here more often and label my posts as Peter Finally Goes To China Day X!
To continue, I saw drak recommending a few albums, I will definitely check some of them out (the electric/pop one), I thougth I would give reviews to some of the new albums that I have listened to recently!
Let's start with
The Fray - The Fray 3.5/5 - I know that drak has been listening to this album as well as u.u, but I must say.. it's a disappointment for me. Their last album was way better.. one hits/album wonder? We will see
Lily Allen - It's Not Me, It's You 2.5/5 - Only amusing song on this album is "Fuck You", youtube it.. I find myself smile-e-e-e at this. If you didn't catch my drift there.. listen to Smile - Lily Allen from her old album
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Lonely Road 4.5/5 - It's similar to the Fray's album, but with more style and vibe rather than the monotone stuff you heard on the Fray's latest album.
John Legend - Evolver 4.5/5 - This one is for some of you guys that might not listen to alternative rock, pop rock or just regular o' rock.. John legend was always one of my favourite artist, and his lastest album is something worthwhile to check out..
Gym Class Heroes - The Quilt - And lastly, a hip hop album but with a twist. Just listen to some you guy will see even though I know you guys arn't big fans of these.
That's it for now, I might add more later. I have been sampling alot of main stream music, I will dig up some indie band later!
Btw, I got twitter! It's boring but add me if you have it =]!
It's 5am, I am too tired even though this is my regular sleeping time noadays anyways, hopfully I will make a new post soon enough..
Until then.. Enjoy this insightful paragraph concerning M&Ms
http://www.netjeff.com/humor/item.cgi?file=SurvivalofthefittestMMs.
P.S. What's with my username? Maybe I should change it... any thoughts?

Blog Renovations
...
ARE BACK
oo... colourful. since Drakonen won't post up his post about his proposal I'll just post it in for him so when we all read this we can actually get the train of thoughts going. Basically, as great as the name "assassins asylum" is..., and it's pretty nice... aliteration + the word assassin ftw, it boggles the world when our URL for the blog does not match our title. Are people in the right place? Who knows.
So what Drakonen is proposing is we:
1. Change our blog name
Maybe to match our site address? Prodigys Omen. Or maybe if you can think of something else that everyone else would agree with.
and what I'm also proposing is we:
2. Change our blog layout/template
We may possibly have a meeting about this but for now, just something different than what we currently have? Perhaps something that represents what this blog is about/reflection of the blogs name.
This may or may not keep us busy for the next few months... maybe.
Anyways, I'm out for my 2 in a row.
Stepping in Before the 4th in a Row
So yah, my birthday was a few days ago and it was spent studying. I basically woke up, went to class, got a hair cut, and then studied. It was pretty sad, but I'm antisocial like that too. Though this may get some depressed, my birthday was celebrated the next day thanks to a friend. It was a relatively nice Tuesday, eventhough I do miss my movie tuesdays. The reason I don't watch movies on Tuesdays anymore is because I don't have time =(, but for a good reason i guess. Let's explain (otherwise this post would fail in comparison to Drakonens).
Tuesdays used to consist of one class in first semester, Anatomy. That was from 2:30 to 3:30. Then I had all the time I needed to buy a ticket, go back home to relax, then go back out for the movie. Buying the ticket ahead of time saved me the trouble of the long line ups during the evening. Now, my tuesdays consist of a sports class from 12:30 to 2:30 which used to be tennis, now has changed into basketball. In the afternoon after Anatomy, I have a bit of time to relax until I have Men's Cell. Fellowship (talking about the Asian Christian Fellowship) at school is pretty big and it's pretty hard to get to know one another. That's where smaller groups branch off, one of them being Men's Cell which is basically a group of guys that meet about once a week to talk about manly stuff... just to put it vaguely. So far, we talked about purity and how to stay pure and currently we're going through a series on leadership. It's pretty helpful and I'm learning a lot. Putting it into action i find more difficult. We'll see what the results are soon I guess. But yes, this currently takes up the time I would normally take to watch a random movie for ONLY $5. So I an now currently not collecting scene points... therefore no free movies anytime soon.
Just to somewhat follow along the lines of applying the field of study to the posts, this was a thought that lingered in my mind since last year when we were learning about the reproductive system. I don't need to explain what that is because everyone should already know unlike Drakonen's very technologically advanced friendly speech was found to be very confusing to me... although I got the gist of it. But when we attempt to reproduce, one egg is attacked by thousands of sperm. Out of those thousands of sperm that swims up towards to egg, a few make it to actually try and break through the egg and get inside. And out of those few who gets the privelege of attempting to break inside, only one makes it. You and perhaps your life could have been so much different if it had been a different sperm with a different combination of chromosomes broke into that one egg and fertilized it. Perhaps one sperm was just micrometers away from breaking through that wall... but another sperm was just one micrometer ahead of it. You are who you are now because that one sperm made it through, and the others didn't. Way to go.
Anatomy is also pretty interesting. It just makes you realize how fragile the human body really is. So many things can go wrong inside your body that it just makes me thankful that I'm healthy (at least that's what I think) or relatively healthy right now. There are people around the world who are constantly battling some form of disease caused by genetics or some alien virus or mutation. Don't take life for granted, it can be so easily snatched away from you any moment. So sad.
Perhaps when I'm desperate someday, I can go into a little more detail.
In other news, I just finished my anatomy bell-ringer today. Basically had to go around to each station and either identify a structure or identify its function. If people hadn't told me some answers, i would've totally failed. Obviously though, I had to be able to know when those answers are appropriate, but still. I need to study a lot harder. =S.
Edit: had to take out a prefix... i remember doing edits and actually putting the edit in a post... so useless but awesome

Two in a row? yes, this is a collapse of a time space continuum… by 1/10^100092 of a second…. so you didn’t notice
Err…. this will be short, but I find that Jon and Gary have comparable tastes in music, and they always drop band names, but at times when no one has an opportunity to listen (another excuse to get a data plan). So I have three albums I've been listening to lately, since I get my music in album form, instead of individual songs. So without further adieu:
Coming to Terms by Carolina Liar
I’d post video of a song, but that's too much of a hassle as all the official links don’t allow for embedding, and the unofficial ones might be pulled down at any time… so yeah…
Also, I’m writing this inside a program called Windows Live Writer, which was one of the optional downloads when you installed the newest version of windows live messenger…. its a better editor then the default on on the blogger dashboard, but you more clicks away from the internet….. maybe there’s a Firefox plug-in that can do just as good a job?
will figure it all out

from square one
I'm going to go ahead and start from scratch and try to get past all the deserved criticism that I should be getting but hopefully won't be. I've decided to posts things that I find myself thinking about randomly to myself, but get frustrated over when I find I have nobody to share them with. Whether I need someone to reinforce my train of thought or someone to criticize and hopefully clarify them,at least this way I can look back on them and wonder what I was wondering when I wondered about wondering.
Well, I'm not sure how I got to technological singularity, but I basically found the real name of a concept which I’d kept onto the back of my head as soon as I had the slightest idea of the theory of evolution and the concepts of artificial intelligence. In short, the idea of the singularity basically defines a paradigm shift that will occur when man created artificial intelligence, one which is self aware and is thus capable of not only understanding itself but learning. The entity will be able to learn exponentially beyond the capabilities of its creators, and thus be able to create a better version of itself. In other words, the point in our future when we create a robot that is able to create a superior version of itself within its own power. How this is accomplished or when it will be accomplished is debateable, but the general consensus is that is it leaves considerable discussion towards the state of humanity. Still following?
Finding the article was like finding a lot of the discussions I’d had in my own head on paper, which ends up being a fairly unnerving by ultimately cool experience. It also made me wonder if the reason I decided to move away from Life sciences and into software engineering was in fact to aid in what I feel as an inevitable outcome of our species, maybe to get sympathy point from our robot leaders? I don’t know, or rather, don’t want to know as I’m might be found accountable to such thoughts in some time in the future.
This is made that much more complicated when you realize the limitations of our current understanding of our universe. For example, mathematics is a tool of standardized logic that we use to define things. But it is only as useful for this were there is cause and effect, or in other words, a problem and solution. Mathematics are used to describe the changes that take place to allow us to go from the state of a problem, to the state of a solution. Its a finite loop. That leaves out all the problems without solutions, and solutions which are not finite. I came across an idea that if people have learned how to do computations before mathematics, then we’d have a very different understanding of our universe. Why? Because the universe appears more and more like a computing structure, and less like a random bunch of arbitrary laws.
So to bring that random dump of nonsensical information together, can we create computing artificial intelligence within a computing universe? If that's possible, how many layers in are we already, and can you dig yourself out? This just makes me wonder….
So that was some of the things I’ve had on my mind today, and it actually feels good to put it out on in words in front of me. Hopefully, I can actually do this again sometime soon….
P.S. Consider this my birthday present to you Gary, err, a continual one....
P.P.S. I’ve changed the theme of the blog back to something basic, because I had trouble reading it (sorry Gary) and also… its time to retire Assassin’s asylum…. Prodigy’s Omen is so much better…

The 2nd Backtrack Memories
I've just been looking back at our past posts and I found it very amusing and eye-opening. I discovered that I was a real jerk. But I think it all worked out somehow in our friendship chemistry. I'm still on January 2005 only because we posted so much in the beginning and it's taking me forever to read through them all. Also finding myself fast-tracking to potential future posts that I remember and laughing at them too. It's just sad that when I get to 2008 or even 2007, that the posts will start slowing down at an exponential rate... and then I won't be able to be entertained by our childhood anymore.
On a more serious side, I do apologize to you guys. I was a jerk back then man. I look and read and I just wanna slap myself. Complaining about Nimalan when he has a perfectly legit reason to not post so often. I don't know what his reason is now... I'm pretty sure (i'm hoping) that it's pretty legit too. Just goes to show how crazy awesome my friends are; to be able to put up with me is a task not to be taken by weak souls.
So I wanna apologize and thank you for just being so kool. I hope this blog will make it to its 1000th post eventually. However slow it may be. This is probably the sappiest post I have ever written in my life of posting. Time to find out if it is =)

First blog in a while...
Travelling back and forth between Woodstock and wherever the weekend takes me has taught me a whole new thing, "highways" before this term, i'd be the local all the way driver, but now it seems so much more efficient and plus it saves gas! not having to stop for traffic lights, and accelerating again which takes up the bulk of the gas. Anyways I ended up getting my G this term as well, and then my flu shot, and then I even picked up a bit of school work for next term... I do have too much time on my hands.
Getting back to the comparision between others in my situation, i do need to point out that it Has been strange having only such a limited number of other people with the same situation who I can relate with. It'll be something i'll have to live with for the next few years, but its just a minor damper on my mood this term. The general fun on weekends does make up for it. There could have been many routes that I could have chosen to taken this term, Some friends I know who live away from home have gotten part time jobs, to kill time. If I was anywhere futher, I might possibly consider taking that route. Work has been a nice fit for me, but I do have some free time daily which I've worked to fill, whether it be catching up with shows, hitting the ymca, or just having dinner with roomates. I've never really found myself in a crazy bind of boredem... Well A few times, but few in comparsion to the time i've been here... Not sure exactly what topic I was on before, now I seem to just be rambling about one point and forgetting about what I was writting previously. So... 12am, time to sleep. Bye.

buttheads for bloggers
ANYWAYS! 2 weekends ago, drakonen and unknownuser came over to london to visit me. They slept over in my room since i had both a foam mattress (for me!!) and an air mattress (for them!).
Very briefly coz I'm suppose to be writing my research paper for exercise psych rite now... Friday, unknownuser arrived at around 6 maybe. Went to zellers coz I wanted to buy extra towels/pillow cases. Didn't end up getting anything except a doughnut from Timmies. Got back home so unknownuser could drop his stuff off and drakonen eventually calls saying he's in london.
We go off around 7:25, hoping to get drakonen and then back to campus by 8 because there was our ACF coffeehouse that I wanted to go to. We arrived on time and parked at Elgin Hall, meaning we crossed the awesomenss that is the bridge that goes across Thames River. Coffehouse was nice; there was singing and acting and such =) Talked for a long while after and headed back to my place.
Next day, woke up late around 11. Loitered in my room for a while and decided everyone was mad hungry coz we just missed last night's dinner, the present day breakfast and soon to be lunch. So, with three meals in one, we went to an all-you-can-eat sushi place called Green Tea where we ate for 2 hours.... most of it waiting for an order that got lost (which was good or we would've died from too much food). There was a lot of rain at this point so we didn't really wanna do anything involving outside. So, we went over to Loblaws and bought a few things. Then went to LCBO to get a few small alcoholic breverages for me to try. Bought a baileys, fireball, and a malibu.
Don't remember what we did until night time when we went to the spoke again (where coffeehouse took place) and ate a bit of snack. Oh! i remember, we were watching my one channel t.v. that does not have a funny colour anymore coz we changed it. We decided after our snack that we didn't want to watch a movie at western films so we went to zellers and bought a risk board and played risk while drinking alcohol for the rest of the night until 2am. At this point there was a lot of snow.
Sunday, woke up super late again. Went to Jack Astors for the same reason as Saturday. Skipped last nights dinner and breakfast and now its lunch. After eating at Jack Astors, we went over to chapters to browse through a few books. Took a brief car tour of Western's campus. Then we went back to my place where drakonen and unknownuser had to get their things and return back to their rightful places.
This is the post of... echoes? I forgot my name already.

Random
I shall attempt to keep it alive the best that i can. So, second year of university... mmmm... it's been a long way since our first posts here at assassin's asylum. Through all the background changes... playing with photoshop, changing through all my names... time does not stop. This site has probably been unused by our bookmarks for a few years... perhaps it's not even bookmarked anymore.
Anyways, living off-campus is a change. Cooking... the bigger change. This year I've been spending a lot more money than usual. Because I live a 15ish minute walk from the theatre itself, it is more accessible on tuesdays when it's only $5. So far, I've watched: Mirrors, Burn after Reading (or something), Eagle Eye, Ghost Town.... I don't remember if there was anymore... oh and Wall-E.. but that was at Western Films.
Buying-wise, I've bought: Western hoodie; Lids cap; swim goggles; aeropostale hoodie, long sleeved t-shirt, and jeans; nike duffle bag and gym bag; Nike sweat pants and... track pants? and t-shirt; hollister t-shirt; american eagle polo t-shirt; and finally a pair of court shoes. WOW. all in 3 months. OH! and of course, also the most expensive item of all, an apple 4gb ipod nano and sony earbuds. GG.
I need to stop spending so much on random stuff eventhough I do use them all. the Aeropostale stuff was when I went out to the mall and found out that I was a bit underdressed so I had to buy a hoodie so i won't freeze going home (the other stuff was just on sale). For the iPod, I was just frustrated by the shuffle as I couldn't pick my songs or see what was playing. All the exercise related clothing is for my sports classes, just more convenient to wear more athletic attire than jeans (and also more comfortable). The western hoodie... I just wanted to represent. all the other t-shirts were randomly stupid buys but I still use them. Can never get enough t-shirts.

From Dusk to Dawn: Chapter 1: The Mistake
So this is the story of Friday, September 19th, 2008 from my point of view.
That day I had three classes, 1 hour each, another hour break in between manning the aikido booth during the breaks for clubs week at UWO. At 2:45 I decided to leave after I finished talking to a person interested in re-joining aikido after a few years break. I walked over to harvey's and bought a bacon cheeseburger that wouldn't be eaten until the trip to the greyhound station. Wearing a long sleeved shirt in what felt like 25 degree celsius weather, I was speed walking back home in london so I can pack my stuff and leave ASAP. Got home around 3:20pm; would've gotten home sooner if i either 1) walked straight home without waiting for the bus or 2) stayed waiting for the next bus because the first bus was full. However, it all worked out eventhough it wasn't done comfortably. Started waiting for the bus around 3:44pm and got to campus not knowing that the bus i took was a "special" bus so I didn't get off at the spot that I would've liked. Eventually, I walked to the desired bus stop and got to the greyhound station at around 4:30pm.
During the walk from the bus stop to the greyhound station, what seemed to be a frosh asked me if she could follow me to the greyhound station because she didn't know where it was. Only adding this part of the story in because it's random. She was going to Hamilton.
Got on the greyhound bus at 5:30pm and arrived in Toronto at around 8pm. During that time, I saw the sun go down and the sky get dark. How is this detail important? This is where the main story begins from dusk.
While waiting for unknownuser to arrive from woodstock where he's doing his co-op, I went over to Eaton Centre to take money out of the ATM machine. Then I went the Rexall store and got 4 gatorade for 5 dollars eventhough I went in there to get one arizona iced tea for one dollar.
After unknownuser arrived, we called up drakonen and put our stuff in a greyhound locker. Were we n00bs at this? yes... yes we were.
After putting our stuff in the locker, we went to a japanese resturant across from the greyhound station. I think it was a pretty satisfying meal. I was full, but not bloated. I got some marinated baby ribs set meal so it came with rice, miso soup, veggies, salad, and ice cream; all for around 10 dollars with the tax and tips included. When finished, I had to look for my sister's birthday present. Holister was closed, so I went over to HMV to get her some earphones. that's when drakonen came and everything just kicked off into hyperdrive.
So, we walked into some pub and got a pitcher of a beer that i've already forgotten the name of. It was my first time drinking beer so i pretty much hated it, but unknown user and drakonen didn't mind it at all because they are too pro. After finishing the pitcher and unknownuser and drakonen finishing their supposedly bbq chicken wings that tasted like hot chicken wings; we had more chicken wings 2 stores down. That took us to 1am, saturday morning.
Now, greyhound closes their doors at 1am and we got there 15 minutes after 1am. So, as we can deduce, we got pwned and our stuff was left in the lockers. Not having anything else to do, we had to call it a night and tried to take the subway home. Unfortunately, the subway closes at 2am and so we had to take the yonge bus all the way to sheppard and then the sheppard bus all the way back home. While in that journey home, we figured it'd be somewhat logical to stay up all night and leave at 4:30am to get our luggage. And that's what we did. Drakonen went home to sleep for he had plans and unknownuser came over to my place to stay for an hour and a halfish. Watched some t.v., I took a nap... then we left at 4:30 into the mad cold weather outside. I wore a zip hoodie plus an extra jacket on top of that and I was still pretty cold. Falling asleep every few minutes on the bus, we arrived at yonge and dundas around 5:45ish? It actually seemed shorter... but maybe it's because we kept falling asleep, and the ride there was ok smooth. No cars on the road and little people waiting for stops and getting off made for a pretty quick ride. I zoned in and out so I don't remember much about it except i felt a bit nausious after the trip. So, we got our stuff out of the lockers finally... and began our trip back home.
By now it's around 6am and so the subway... the ones that closed at 2am... reopened and we took the subway back home. When we came out to take the bus from don mills to birchmount, the sun was up and there was our end to Friday, and the beginning of Saturday 7am in the morning.
From Sunlight to Sunset to Sunrise. 3 ttc tokens. 3 university students. Around 14 hours in the making.
GG Greyhound.

I do post
Let us be unified and not have distinctive fonts. lol! my way of saying "i'm too lazy to change fonts everytime i post"
Summer is almost over. Still remember the time i wrote the post about summer ending. When i quit my job, graduated from highschool, moving to a new location. Man... Second year is about to start and I'm totally not up for it.
Summer was pretty boring for the first two months. Should make it more eventful next year. Unknownuser should be co-oping next summer. We'll see if he gets a job in toronto or not. I am in deep need of a job.
Obviously I must post about my camp experience. This year i'm actually getting pai... "paid" to chill and hang out with kids. It is a christian daycamp so i'm partnered with toronto city missions (TCM) to go to a community (in my case Bridletowne) to reach out and educate kids about who God is and what their relationship with God is. It's been a lot of fun! We have two sites, and each wednesday we combine both sites. Fridays we go on trips. So far we've been to peticote(sp?) creek, woody wood chucks, the zoo, and today we went to the ontario science center. I actually got Daniel to volunteer at the camp today coz we needed volunteers. So he was with me on the trip and got to see first hand how it is somewhat run. I haven't dreaded going to work yet, it's been tiring but its worth it. The only stressful thing about camp is planning and organizing. Once you got that down, you're pretty much set.. except for the disciplining. But that will come when the time is right.
That's about all i can say for now. For more info, you can go on facebook. You can go to my profile and see my groups. It would say "sonshine staff 08" or something like that. And another that says "sonshine daycamp bpc/cgcs" or something close. You will see a lot of pictures and videos from camp there.
If you do not have facebook or have deleted your account. I am currently making a myphotoalbum account for all the pictures. Stay tuned. Sonshinecgcs.myphotoalbum.com

Between here and there,
Life has been a rollercoaster, unlike many people my age, ive got school this term. Although i sometimes complain, school in the summer is actually very nice, however fast it is passing by and however few people there are still here. Being able to walk to class in nice weather does have a effect on imporinvg my day to day attitude. Summer is actually almost here. Time does pass by fast and i`m seemingly oblivious to the outside world. The lack of being able to get the news or choose to listen to it in my case is quite scary. another war or another earthquake could be going on and I wouldn`t have a clue. Its all school life over here, and the adventures trying to get through it. Half way through the term already and i`m not sure if i want it to end or not. on one hand school has started to pick up and its got a flow to it, on the other i do miss alot about toronto and my home. I say this because there is a small possibility that I might take a job here in Kitchener, Ontario. Meaning that i wont be going back for quite a while. Although, I Am going back to toronto for the long weekend, so that should be a well needed trip back. Enough talk about the future, i`ll go on to the more immediate future. The next month sounds action packed already, strangely theres too many people i know whos parents decide to concieve their 19 year olds in the up coming month. Many commitments to make, for not posting for so long i could talk for a long time about much more, but I really dont think today`s a time to be deep, it should be a time for sleep.
what a rhyme. bye.
